Went to AT for an interview last month. Spoke with a manager whom shall remain anonymous and we had the following conversation. "So the new woodie, I've two manufacturers in mind who id love the coaster to come from" Him "What manufacturers have you got in mind?" Me "Rocky Mountain and GCI" Him "If you're after a Rocky Mountain, I wouldn't buy tickets if I were you" Me "I'd still love a GCI mind" Him "Then you won't be disappointed" Take with a pinch of salt but if I was a betting man I'd edge your bets on the GCI we're all expecting.

That video is beautiful. Upon seeing Limit all pretty and colourful it's solidified the fact that you can indeed, polish a turd! N.B -- This was merely for comical purposes, I quite enjoy an SLC..... I believe you can control the roughness by how you sit and hold your body in the seat. I'm 6'4 and don't find SLC's any rougher than a B&M Invert.

Shockwave at Drayton Manor is the only stand up coaster in the world with a Zero G roll. Personally, the ride layout is pure gash but it's one of the most intense elements I've experienced.

If this ends up being a Vekoma Madhouse with very elaborate theming I'm gonna self harm!

In a statement, Port Aventura ensures that among these attractions appear "the highest and most rapid vertical accelerator in Europe" I think we can rule out the height being over KK's 456 feet, otherwise they would have said "the highest and most rapid vertical accelerator in the world". I am however sooooo pumped about this as i've never experienced TTD or KK and the tallest accelerator i've done is Stealth which is pretty lame!

So, went to the park today for John Lewis employees day and here's a small review. Got to the park at 10:00 and queues appeared light. Info boards at the gates showed 0 minutes all round. Straight to spin all where there was a 40 minute wait. Thank god for the single rider line is all I can say! Walk on! We then went to the rapids but with it being 1 degrees, it was our only water ride of the day. Duel, Nemesis and Air completed all of which were walk ons however Sub Terra and Ripsaw were not in action all day. After a mammoth walk to The Dark Forest Rita had a huge queue due to poxy one train operation and surprise surprise Th13teen was also down all day! Food took priority over Rita and as it was freezing cold and raining all day We decided to skip her and catch pneumonia riding Nemesis over and over instead. Who wouldn't ?!? A casual mince over to X Sector reveals that Oblivion is shit until the park opens.... This was painful news to me as Blivvy is my favourite ride on the park...... Gutted! To add salt to the wound, no further construction on SW7! So, after a few more rides on Nemmie we called it a day. Bad weather, unfortunate start of season technical difficulties preventing some main rides from opening put a dampened on our day. Quite literally! The car parks are full of Smiler track and supports that are ready to be transported over to the site but nothing of specific note, only thing worth mentioning is two pieces of curved track, like a bunny hop curve with pneumatic magnetic brake fins on..... That's it! Nothing that resembles either lift hills nor this 'secret element'..... You're guess is as good as mine! Finally, Nemmis was running beautifully today, the rain made it thunder through the course and is as insane as ever!

As a thespian myself and a huge musical theatre fan, I'd like to say that those two clips were outstanding! The score is fresh, unique and very well written and the talent on that stage is out of this world! I for one will be supporting Theme Park Diva! Bring it to the UK PLEASE!

Time to bust a cap on some ghosts asses! I won only because Matts so gay he cant hold a weapon! What's this i see in Forbidden Valley? Yea......... It's the new ride...... the excitement ends there! Yesterday my housemate and I went off to Alton Towers before those pesky brats break up from school and ruin adults lives for the 6 weeks they are allowed to run amock the country. We departed Wales (Country of the gods) at 7am and due to very light traffic arrived at the park 20 minutes before opening t find very few cars in the car park and minimal guests at the ticket booths! We entered the very quiet Towers Street and headed for Battle Galleons to then go around the park clockwise. Hitting up Runaway Mine train which gave us 4 mediocre circuits before actuall allowing us to get off. It then took about 20 minutes to contort all 6ft 4 of me out of the tiny Mack cart before heading to Duel and Forbidden Valley. After shooting the arse off some Zombies we arrived at AT's new attraction Nemesis Sub-Terra...... with a 20 minute queue time. In the queue line there are numerous TV monitors telling us that in 1994 whilst excavating they came across Nemesis and had to pin it down with steel.........(you all know that though im guessing) ..... Then they found hidden caves under the nemesis site which housed a few eggs belonging to the beast. They apparantly "made safe" an egg for human viewing in the facility. This is the egg we are going to see today. After a quick throughput we are met with role actors who are shouty and abrupt...... everything i find sexy really who direct us into a waiting area where we watch a quick briefing video. This pretty much tells us the same as the TV screens did outside. Two elevator doors then open and we enter...... A few light effects and noises are supposed to make us feel that weve descended into the ground however anyone that has ever been on an elevator in their life will realise that we havent moved anywhere! Next was my favourite part..... The doors opened and a very attractive male role actor dressed in black combat gear got very close to me....... he took my concentration from the ride straight away!!! He then guided all guests into 4 straight rows of seats in a square layout with an agg in the middle. After a few light and sund effects.... the lights go out...... they come back up and the egg has been split open..... nothing is inside.... then you get poked in the back and ankles which does feel like tentacles before dropping, quicte forcefully into the ground. The seats then slowly get back up to the correct level and we are instructed to lift up our lap bars and get out. One thing i loved was the sheer chaos at everyone running out.... hilarious and an easy way to sneak a cheeky grope of the hot ride attendan whilst brushing past him. We then enter another lift which has movement effects and actualy does feel like youre ascending back up to the surface. My verdict...... definately worth doing it for a time killer of if the queue isnt too large however i wouldnt queue for more than 20 minutes for it im afraid! 5/10. We then hit up Nemesis which after 18 years is totally hauling arse as per usual. Once in the front and once in the back both offering two completely different rides IMO. Next was Air........ one word..... MEH..... not a fan im afraid. We then headed over to Th13teen and Rita to get those credits and rode Ice Age 4D which was about asthrilling as cheese grating your nipples! Effects were not even a patch on Disney standards but it's a quick 20 minutes to keep those children amused and out of my way! Next was my favourite in the park.... Blivvy...... Absolutely love it.............. No queue, freezing temperatures in the tunnel and orange restraints...... whats there not to love? SW7 site is all boarded up, but at the top of Blivvy you can see in and you'll be pleased to know........ there's nothing going on! Grrrrr! Im probably beginning to bore you now so ill condense..... Sonic Spinball..... Flume, Rapids.....Nemesis...... Th13teen..... Rita.......Blivvy...... Home! Phew! Anygay...... onto the photos.... My iphone died halfway through the day so they are limited im afraid...... but still i invite you relax....... maybe pull up a chair..... while scottjenkins proudly presents........... your photos! I went today too, I agree the themeing and attention to detail is of high quality and it's the best themed ride at Thorpe. The ride itself exceeded my expectations..... The pov I watched a few days ago looked really slow. Stood underneath the track in the queue, it glides over the track majestically but still looks slow.... .....however, it's faster when you're on board. To say its force less is a tad extreme, the bottom of the drop under the wing pulls a few G's an the inclined loop does too. The zero g and corcscrew are pretty force less though. I sat on both front and back left and right and all four offer different rides! The front left was my least favourite where rear right was awesome getting flipped over the first inversion at the top of the lift hill. I agree with the smoothness and quietness, easily the smoothest an most silent coaster I've ever ridden, Saw however actually raped me today! Damn that things got rough! Being a total Intamin fanboy, swarm sits number 2 favourite coaster in TP under stealth but knocks colossus to 3 and saw to 4! Went with low expectations and left very pleasantly surprised!

Robbbbbbb I think Scott in Wales GB deserves an IAAPA Bag of crap!! ))
