  1. Glad you made it back to the Big Mike World Headquarters safe & sound. I'm excited to see the Disney pics!
  2. Hey Big Mike! I've been without internet for about a week now, and I've been having Big Mike Road Show with drawls! I was even trying to check it out on my cell phone, but it just wasn't quite working out. I just read about 15 pages or so to get caught up. It looks like you're having an amazing time. I love seeing all of these parks that I have never been to. I really hope to go on a TPR trip next year..... and maybe make my appearance on the Big Mike Road Show 2009! Keep up the great work, and don't let these BMRS bashers get to you. I'm sure you wont though, cause you know, as well as 99% of the BMRS readers that this is the greatest TPR thread ever! Take care & Safe travels, Brian
  3. Awesome update, as usual! The ride looks super fun. I loved the on-ride commentary. I haven't been to Disneyland since 1986. I'm really hoping to get back there next year.
  4. So what did you think of Ravine Flyer 2? With Voyage being so close to my #1 Woodie, I'm really looking forward to getting over there this summer to ride RF2. If I remember correctly, you said that you haven't ridden Voyage yet, right?
  5. Haha... awesome! You are very welcome. Glad you enjoy it. Thank You for all the time and work that you put in to these trip reports. There's no way that I could afford to do all the traveling that you do, so I need to live through you, haha.
  6. So I'm driving through the city today and look what I see! Big Mike, you're becoming a real celebrity! Big Mike Road Show 2008 Billboard Downtown!
  7. Awesome! Congrats on making it into the OnPoint Blog! I knew it would happen as soon as you said that Tony was reading the Big Mike Road Show 2008 thread, and that he talked to, and took a picture of you. I'd be pretty excited about that!
  8. Big Mike, I'm glad you had such an awesome day at Coaster Mania! I was pretty excited to head to CP today, but unfortunately today was my first day off of work in quite a while and I had WAY too many things to take care of. I was super, super, super excited to make my debut on the Big Mike Road Show too, but obviously that didn't happen. oh well That's pretty cool about the Tony thing. Maybe Big Mike will make an appearance in the OnPoint! Blog... which would be flippin sweet! Keep up the awesome TR's! I'm looking forward to the rest of your trip(s), cause there is no way I could get the time off of work, or afford to do what you're doing so I need to live through you, haha. P.S. I miss the bikini pictures as well.
  9. Such an awesome TR, Natalie! Your photos are amazing! I've tried a ton of times to get some good pics of Lightning Racer, as it's one of my favorite woodies as well, but to no avail. I really want a sweet pic of LR that I can use as a desktop BG. Roller Soaker is also a credit that I have passed up because I HATE walking around in wet clothes/shoes! It's kind of a heart breaker to have to pass up such an easy credit, but I think it's worth not getting soaked! P.S. I flippin LOVE IKEA!
  10. AWESOME!!!!! I was supposed to be there for the wedding, but unfortunately some circumstances prevented me from making it to the wedding (and Holliwood Nights for that matter)! I'm so happy for them. That's pretty exciting to have your wedding all over the news and on a bunch of different websites! Congrats Jerry & Leslie!
  11. Big Mike, I hope this Memorial Day weekend trip has something to do with Holliwood Nights. I'll be waiting for the announcement. P.S. Please don't let the negative publicity affect Big Mike's Roadshow TR's. I loved reading them with the bikini babes, and I'll love reading them without the bikini babes!
  12. Carowinds has the state line of North and South Carolina running through it!
  13. Awesome update... as usual! I'm really looking forward to riding Boulder Dash this year. It's near the top of my of my most sought after credits list. I'm pretty bummed that I didn't do the sky ride at Knoebels when I was there, which looks to be pretty similar to the sky ride at Lake Compounce. I'll have to make sure that I ride it when I head over there.
  14. Dear Bike Mike, I'm pretty sure that this is my most favorite thread that I have EVER read on ANY site! Keep up the great work, and definitely keep posting pics of hot babes! I'm truly jealous of your travels. Take care, and safe travels! Brian
  15. This is awesome! I remember watching them build those islands on Modern Marvels, or one of those shows like that. They're doing some pretty intense construction over there!
  16. I've only missed 2 coasters. 1. Roller Soaker @ Hershey - Cause I didn't feel like getting wet! 2. High Speed Thrill Coaster @ Knoebels - Cause I'm stupid! I regret both of them all the time, But I plan to get back to both parks this year, so I can make up for my mistakes!
  17. Thanks, alpengeist04! I wont be hitting any water parks at all... so that looks like it may be a better option for me. I'll definitely check it out!
  18. Hey All, So I'm going to be leaving here on February 29th to head south. Stopping at SFOG for opening day (March 1st)to re-new my Season Pass and enjoy some coasters, then heading down to Florida when then park closes. Here's where I could use some tips/advice, as I've never been to any parks in Florida. I'm driving my Mom down to La Belle to visit my Aunt & Uncle. I'm dropping her off, and maybe staying the night there. The next day I plan to get up and head out to ride some coasters! We should arrive at my aunts house on the 2nd of March sometime. I have till March 8th to hit all of the parks and do whatever else I can squeeze in. First of all, I'm not going to any of the Disney parks. I want to save those for a separate vacation when I can just stay on Disney property. I would like to hit Boomers, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens, Sea World, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure... depending on how much time I actually have, Boomers may get scratched off the list. I would appreciate any help, tips, suggestions, or anything you think that I may need to know (i.e Hotels, Tickets, a certain order I should do the parks, or what days to visit them, etc...). It will only be me and my roommate hitting the parks. Thanks in advance, Brian
  19. Am I crazy, or does the brochure have pictures of Voyage with the Ravine Flyer 2 logo photo shopped on the front of the train?
  20. Wow! What an awesome TR! First... Congratulations on all of the drag racing stuff. Making it to that race must have been such an amazing feeling, not to mention getting $3500 from Summit Racing! My roommate drag races and is constantly telling me about everything, and makes me watch videos, look at pictures, and go to races... so I know a lot of the people that you mentioned and had pictures of, and i enjoyed and understood all of your pictures. Second... Thanks for all of the pictures from Disneyland. This was the first park that I had ever been to, and the place where I rode my first roller coaster! I haven't been there since 1986, and seeing your TR really brought back a lot of memories, even though I can close my eyes and picture everything like I was just there yesterday. I really need to get back there. Thanks again for sharing! I really enjoyed your TR.
  21. Is there a Hard Copy available of No Limits, or is it only available for download?
  22. ^ Notice it says... Reserve not met! I'm sure it will end up selling for a pretty hefty price.
  23. I just got the Deja Vu credits at SFOG and SFGAm this summer. I can't believe something actually worked out for me. It was my first time at both parks, and I only spent a day at each of them. Guess I got pretty lucky! Although I could care less to ride any Deja Vu ever again, besides SFMM's just for the credit... It's still sad to see them go!
  24. ^ This is definitely off topic, but... Shockwave, Gorilla Biscuits... Good stuff man!!!
