  1. I meant to tell you guys Conner's is coaster count is up 3. 1 Wood (Camden Park wood coaster) 2 Steel (Fitlzer in Wildwood and Road Runner here) I had to wait till I was 4 years old for my credits. Lucky kid! He scored the wood coaster when he was 1. Conner's 3rd coaster credit
  2. I know you said Derek and Nicole but opinions are like A__Holes, everyone has one
  3. Nicole hasn't been on Apollo's Chariot yet, but I prefer Nitro. Apollo is a nice ride with lots of fun floater air, but I think I like Nitro's drop and U-turn and helix better than Apollo's first drop and random turnaround. I found Apollo's last few hills much stronger then Nitro's. I wish you could merge the two rides and keep it in Jackson.
  4. Wow there was a lot more people there the day before on Friday and I say it was just as cold. It should be really easy getting the rest of the credits later in the year. Glad you guys had fun and made the trip to see us! Conner knows the Wiggles
  5. I'm sure they are guessing since very few people have riddened it.
  6. Not every hill on every coaster has airtime. I'm sure they looked at it the way of time and money. Instead of removing all that steel to pour more footings then add smaller supports all for having nothing there. They instead saved money on steel, time and work and we get a hill instead of nothing at all.
  7. The Chiller was testing yesterday 4/6 http://www.coasterreview.com/twister/view.php?album=D70%202007/April%202007/GA%20Opening%20Week&mode=&start=30&pic=DSC_6650.jpg&picindex=35 http://www.coasterreview.com/twister/view.php?album=D70%202007/April%202007/GA%20Opening%20Week&mode=&start=30&pic=DSC_6651.jpg&picindex=36
  8. Sorry, I'm so late. How early was she? Our new daughter Rylee was born on 2/2/07 and yourd 3/3/07 kind funny. Congrats on the new baby girl!!! Bret and Family
  9. I believe SFOG claimed it as a triple looping roller coaster not 3 inversions. Still a lame claim on the parks part but still an amazing ride. 3rd = horizontal loop
  10. There is at least one "Coaster Retard" per coaster. Think about it. We all know someone who has done this at their local park. It's sad.
  11. You'll love this site! http://www.engrish.com
  12. There are 2 Weird NJ issues that have lots of great stories about Action Park and the Cannonball Loop. I saw this slide with my very own eyes. It was real. My first visit to Traction ...I mean Action Park, someone died on my very first ride on my very first visit. It was a Kayak ride 2 people were electrocuted while I was on it. The best slide I was ever on was at Action Park. It's called the Colorado River. It was one of the first "family" type slides but with a ground hugging course that was extememly agressive. Your boat will go vertical and the people at the top would land on the people on the bottom. It was more like 10 min mosh pit in a boat. I believe it still runs at Mount Creek (Name Change). I'm not sure if they changed the layout or the safety of it.
  13. "Sierra Nevada Harvest Ale 2006, a wet hop pale ale" Hey do they have this stuff bottles anywhere?
  14. O man ..your drinking the Celebration Ale which is my favorite. I can't wait till the holidays. Also the Flying Dog comes in 3rd. I think they changed the label ..it use to say doggie style on it It's strong and not even close to my pale ale's but I can't begin to guess the alcohol content. It reminds me of when I first starting drinking beer and that first sip use to make you shiver from the bitterness.
  15. Happy Birthday Tom
  16. The lift hill is more advanced then it seems and Derek pointed it out to me. The cable lifts that are out there start from the station and the train is not moving. El Toro is moving and must stop at a certain point and lock into position. But I will say I'm not defending the park for these late openings. I think it sucks and something needs to be done. I also think the fast pass thing is way out of hand! Nicole next season make sure you come visit with Derek!
  17. Had a great time Derek! Thanks for coming by. The photos turned out great. I want Great Adventure to be ..well Great. They have a long way too go. Anyone who wants to test there width, the bathroom is across from the Bucinneer.
  18. Thanks all the nice comments. I'm using a Nikon D70. I used a Sigma 70-300mm lens for these shots. I got it on e-bay for 50.00 but you can get one new for 180.00 If your short on funds find a D50. The D70 is replaced by a D80. Surpisingly I didn't crop any of the photos. I think I shoot better with my contacts. I was using a technic called panning or tracking. Isn't basiclly following the subject and only that one like your shooting a gun. There is a bit more too it with setting and stuff.
  19. This is one of many. Here is a link to all the photos http://www.coasterreview.com/twister/index.php?album=D70/PPP%2006&mode= I took so many pictures I had to split it in sections on my website. Check out Conner hidding from the Rob Zombie wannabe Knoebels at night Knoebels at night Todd Long or is that Silent Bob? Coastin Steve tearing up the Flyers A close up of Firemans Chicken Walt tearing up the craft food. Well everyone was really Craft Fair was packed Sat. Firemans Chicken at the craft fair. Damn it. Sorry it was a little blury guys. My meter couldn't keep the hightlights on this guys white legs. What's he thinkin

  21. That's 18 beers and he only weighs about 150 pounds give or take. Derek drinks 6% beers all the time. It's ok to pass out, it's not ok to throw up on yourself Did they serve food in that tent? Where are the pics? OWE OWE OWE!
  22. Don't forget my "Stupid Bret Dark Ride Pictures"!!
  23. Is this a park for a seasonal traveling thing that comes through and uses same site each year? It looks like fun.
  24. This past Sat we took the kids to Sesame Place. Myself I was there 17 years ago Jill was never there Kerri was there last year Conner was never there It was a pretty busy day and very warm 89 degrees. We started in the water area and worked are way through to the dryer stuff. We bought the pass online for 68 and change and it's good all next year. They still managed to get us for 10.00 for parking, 9.00 for locker and 39.00 for food!! My family and I can eat at the Fiest House at BGE cheaper. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't 39.00 good. Next time we bring lunch I know I sound cheap but we have another baby due in Feb, every penny counts. I love the faces. It's not the largest or fastest but everyone is having a good time and that's what riding is all about! I have to post the last picture first and the first picture last? Is that normal. Here is the Vapor Trail. I didn't get to ride it this time, but I will on my next visit. No Cha Ching for me. Kerri and Conner having fun in the padded area. Your never too old. I wanted to climb the nets but Kerri didn't bring shoes. No sandles allowed! Conner and I riding together. Nice theming. Big Bird lives behind those doors in case you forgot He was banging on the can, he would have crapped his diaper if Oscar came out. Conner was a bit scared but who wouldn't be?
  25. The wife says Mrs Knotts Chicken and Knoebels Baked Potatoes. I say Knoebels for snacking all day and Dollywood for larger meals.
