Actually, tissue paper...even worse...lol. The show was the same as when I saw it...I didn't know how to feel when I left, and my friend goes "that was the cheesiest show I have ever seen"...I had to agree. Well, it seems like your day was pretty good, even though you really didn't ride any coasters, you got some slides in. Lucky you with your Xtreme pass...lol Well, im going tomorrow...ta ta for now. -Jahan

Disney. They are better. -
Space Mountain soft openings

Nope. Its the same ride, just smoother, and better effects. -
Well, that was one of my worries. Well, you have managed to get as far as SFMM. But just as with them, once we start to see vertical construction start, enthusiasm will rise with the ride.

Yea...I do have a ton of doubts! Lol...but I will be looking forward to seeing what you can do. Im assuming you aren't getting any permits or insurance...lol.

Well, your best bet would be a weekday. But if you have to go on those two days, I would go on Sunday. 1) All eyes will be on Disneyland, for the 50th. 2) I think theres a lot of stuff on TV that day, and SFMM is one of those parks you dont go to if your TV show is on.

SheiKra - "First" Water Effect
arrowfanman replied to Coasters 4 ever's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I dont think that matterhorn was the first (it was the first tubular steel coaster with polyurithane wheels and a water effect). I think they are saying that, because Sheikra is the first coaster to use that patented technique for a water effect. -

Visions Fantastic is excellent, but he's looking for WDW, not DL. -

Jahan's 6-23-05 SFMM Photo TR

Hello folks! Last friday was my sisters birthday, so I decided to take her to SFMM for a day. Ah...a beautiful day for SFMMing. As soon as we got there, the gates opened, and we were in. We cut to Goliath, and waited a train for the front. Nothing like Goliath and a crappy photographer (me!) to wake you up in the mornin'! After that, it was Riddlers, and then to Batman. Batman is now playing the 'Batman Begins' music in the station. Batman!....yay. Then, I saw this, and couldnt pass up a photo op! Next, it was off to Colossus. They fixed a train! They are now finally on 2 train operation, and on the right side now. A boring station sign pic, as I couldn't find a photo op of the actual ride...lol. Then it was time for Scream! I learned that it is impossible to take a good photo of that ride: That was basically the day. We did viper and goldrusher and psyclone too. I also took photos of the "OMFG NEW COASTER!!!1!11! stick?" as my good friend Adrian so appropriatly pointed out, and those pics might end up in the rumor thread. Long story short, after seeing the markings for myself--I believe...lol. Or at least I HOPE. Till next time (which might be next week!), -Jahan -
Heres one of me: They say the bigger the ears, the bigger the... ...opportunity for Jahan to make a stupid joke.

You just burst his bubble! And I shall do the same...The girl that sat next to me in my Physics class opped Superman, and she let me ride it 5 times in a row!

The boomerangs are unoriginal, but that doesn't keep me from having a smile on my face at the end of the ride. -
SFMM on Tuesday anyone?
arrowfanman replied to Mr.Six's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Im going next week, but its with my sister, for her birthday. Maybe another time! I should be shooting video footage though, so if I see a guy photographing what im filming, I'll ask..." TPR?" -
Yes JT...that does make me think...but that also makes me ASSUME...something dangerous in a tradgedy like such. I think we should all just sit and wait for official news on the kids death, without blaming the ride, without blaming the parents, and without getting all pissy at each other. Just because we are fans of the Amusment industry, something like this happens, and we think we are experts...we aren't. A kid dies, and we think we are all doctors. A kid dies, and we think we are all aeronautical engineers--experts. We are not! And if we were, we aren't there investigating first hand, so we STILL dont know the truth. In the end...if you trust the ride, then ride it...if you dont trust the ride, then dont ride it.

I dont really give a damn what it is, I just want some quality for a change. And orange ground markers normally represents communication lines...lol. -
Photo Update! Beach, B&Ms, and BBQ!

I had the SAT that day, but I sure hope I can attend the next meet, because I think I can tell where you live by those pics (thats a horrible intersection!), and I will be sure to make it to the next event. That looked like a load of fun! Count me in for the next trip, as long as its to SFMM, or doesn't stretch pass, like, universal or knotts (I cant really afford Disney right now!) Was the Pizza Kitchen really open!?!? I dont believe it! -

Although I understand that a lot of work goes into the computer-aided designers, I perfer custom. I know that track isn't perfect, but its mine. Its like the difference between a machined car, and a custom car. Sure a custom car isn't as "perfect", but when it gets damn near close, it sure is something to marvel. BTW...it wont let me take of that attachment. -
