Who Framed Brer Rabbit?
Teddymonster replied to America Sings Freak's topic in Random, Random, Random
SOtS will not come out this year...or any year for that matter, unless they redo some of the original artwork in it. I just don't see that happening. -
I thinks it's kind of cute how some people totally took the episode the wrong way. Well, cute and sad.

I got it the on Wed., but I've yet to play it. I was pissed as hell to see the review IGN gave it, mainly because their justifications of the rating seem half-assed.

My parents are both from Cyprus in the Mediterranean.

BILL!!!! Happy (belated) Birthday! Hope you had a fun day, yesterday and that all of your birthdizzle wishes came true. I didn't know you were an Aries.

Nothing is "up with me," thank you. I was just trying to point out that some kids are very impressionable and naive and will try and imitate certain games, shows, whatever. Maybe YOU do not fall into that category, but then again, ratings and restrictions were not made for a case-by-case situation. If your parents allow you to listen to things that aren't appropriate for your age, that's their prerogative. My issue is that a lot parent's DON'T know what they are purchasing their kids and usually don't care. So, having said that, your sarcasm is not appreciated, but thanks for trying to validate your opinion.

...sera. What ever will be, will be! Oh, Egg will tell you who he/she is when the time is right. I'm sure of it.
-
^Yeah, we support exotic dancing over there. Right, Egg?

Thats what I thought about it as well untill I picked up the game used and was totally blown away by it. The timed nature of it is not that pressing. It never made the game harder for me. Especially since as the game goes on you learn melodies that can control the passing of time i.e. make it slower or faster. NEVER EVER dismiss a Legend of Zelda game made by Nintendo out of hand. LOL, you mean like that POS Adventures of Link?
-
Age regulates what you listen to, just as it should regulate movie-viewing and what not. There is a reason why CDs have a PA label on them and certain games are rated M, etc... Some parents are too damn ignorant as to what their kids are exposed to and sometimes those kids interpret what they play, see, and hear the wrong way and tragedy occurs as a result.

Some of the peeps posting in this thread be a tad too young to be listening to SOAD. Tsk Tsk!
-
^ Bill! You're not allowed to do the Sausage Fest Dance on a family-friendly (oh, the irony) messageboard!
-
^That's right, Momma!!!
-
My favorite Zelda game Link to the Past, closely followed by Ocarina of Time. I didn't even bother Majora's Mask, as I think the fact that the game is timed is just a cheap way to make the damn thing even harder. I can't wait to try out Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass.
-
I LOVE SOAD! I, too, am a must bigger supporter of their older music. They're self-titled is their strongest album, IMO, by far. Even though I don't really like Mesmerize as much as the previous three releases (I haven't even dished out the cash to buy Hypnotized, as I'm not that interested, really), I still love the band.

Okay, you're logic somewhat confuses me. WHY is having a Blu-Ray "very important"? Besides...who said that the PS3 was going to have a "cheap and effective" Blu-ray drive? Blu-ray and cheap are not synonymous. -
Mammas always know hon, didn't you get that memo? You know, I was wondering where the hell that memo went. I never received the "agenda" either.

Gay Day at Dollywood or Six Flag Over Ga.
Teddymonster replied to krider's topic in Random, Random, Random
^That WOULD be a sight to see...especially if the people attending Gay Day knew about it before hand. I can see it now...strips of cheap white linen litter the walkways of Dollywood. But that would be just the beginning. ~Don't hate...it's bad for your bones. -
The Official Nintendo Wii Discussion Thread

^THANK YOU! Ugh, I keep telling people, "Don't be surprisde if Twilight Princess is gonna be magically deemed as a Revolution title." I mean, they already postpone the game several times (which is usually a good thing for a quality title), but if they'd sell it so late in the season, wouldn't that be cutting it close to Rev's supposed release date? Why sell a game for an older console, that you know would sell like crazy, when you could use it to sell your new console??? -
Two more Nintendo Wi-Fi Games coming out Tuesday!
Teddymonster replied to Homer's topic in Random, Random, Random
Dude, Tetris DS is supposed to be ridiculously good. I really love my Meteos, but I may pick this up too. I just try not to show favoritism amongst my games, because then they get jealous...then...well, it becomes ugly. -
^Dude, do what you guys want to do as a group. Don't make your decisions solely based on what other people tell you. Not everyone is going to absoutely fall in love with what you guys write, but you know what? That applies for every group out there, so no worries.
