I've noticed how many people have mentioned Raptor's "car-accident-like" final brakes, but that is actually what I liked about it. If a coaster ends, and I felt like I just got kicked in the ass, this usually indicates a sweet time (or it could simply mean you just endured a Vekoma or TOGO crapsterpiece). Masochistic of me? No way...

I brought up this topic back when Danimation.com was around. The lamest coaster ending for me would have to be a tie between Great Bear at HP and Kraken at SWO. While these rides are really fun, the last bit before the final brake run are snoozers. My favorite coaster ending would probably be TTD at CP and Raptor at CP. While there are more, these two blew me away.

While introducing yourself and coming out right off the bat is a kind of awkward social initiation, I can understand where people come from with that. I HATE it when people assume one thing and you have to address their false assumption. It is simply to avoid further embarssment of both "parties."

It's funny how I am totally there with you on giving my HS reunion the finger. I am not usually a bitter person, but when it comes to HS, I genuinely HATED a good 90% of my HS. This not only had to do with the blatant homophobic atmosphere, but mostly centered around the atrocious level of bigotry and intolerance on ever level. I come from a relatively wealthy area in Northern Virginia and with that comes spoiled "rotten" jerkoffs. I can't begin to explain to you how shady and evil most of the people that attended my HS were. BTW Allison, I'm REALLY sorry that happened to you. I'm not the one to resort to violence out of the blue, BUT, if I saw someone being treated like that I would go apesh*t on the harassers. It only takes one person, you know...

If you can remember how addictive Evercrack was, I feel this game exceeds that. EQ is more of a group based game, while WOW is more versatile. You don't have to be a fan of the Warcraft series to really get into it. BTW...if you pick up the game and want a challenge, play as the Horde.

Tough question...of all the movies I love, "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" is my all-time favorite. If you like rock musicals and can keep an open mind, definitely check this one out.

It seems like this topic has sort of been let astray...From what I am hearing, it seems that so far everyone has mentioned "being gay" as a sort of fashionable statement, like wearing fishnet stockings to Church. Well, when I was in HS, it was almost social suicide to be out to your peers. I remember that I was so scared to come out to my best friends, and after a couple of months of deep depression in college, I went back to my hometown to "clear the fog" a bit. If I could offer advice to anyone on this site as to whether or not to come-out in HS...use your best judgement and don't sell your friends and family short. Be prepared for the worst so as you don't get trampled on.

A girlfriend of mine called me the other day to say that her husband was shipping off to New Orleans with his platoon (right terminology?) and said that gas in Fayetteville, NC was starting at $3.89. Yikes!

To answer KrakenKing's question...That looks like a Jhonen Vasquez comic, but I can't recall if it's from Squee!:Unspeakable Horrors or from JTHM. And no, not all characters in Squee have big eyes (i.e. his parents). Oops, forgot to answer the topic. We gays really love the rollercoasters if you haven't noticed. P.S. Hope this post doesn't bite me in the ass.
