^Yeah, I'm not rea big on tha split screen thingy. I would rather watch each POV and Reverse POV in full 75" HD glory.

I actually love the backseat POVs. Especially with a ride like this as "twisty!" as it is. It's cool to watch the mechanics of the train approaching and going through the elements.

I am wondering how fast or slow the train passes over the blue honked up bits before the first lift. I don't know if those bunny hills will be more fun riding them slow or fast. Can't wait for my next trip out to Cali so I can ride this thing.

Congratulations John! That looks very exciting! You will have to fill us all in on how it goes. Sad that I live in Nashville and won't be able to see it. Got Kirk yesterday morning. Had no chance in hell to get Uhura. Had enough stuff to get cyborg Joe as well. Just trying to finish tasks now before the event ends.

^I was just curious. I didn't realize dueling coasters were a gimmick. And is Twisted Colossus now a dueling coaster? It never has any actual dueling elements. Everything is always running parallel. Racing yes, dueling, not so much. Generally dueling would imply that the coasters have opposing directions and near misses. I guess it's really up to interpretation, but I don't see this as a dueling coaster. Extreme racing coaster, absolutely! I would argue against dueling.

The spray? What about the spray? I have no spray? I mean, except for squirting. But that has nothing to do with the game. Well... ...depends on the game. But not the Simpsons.

Awesome TR Chuck. I am looking forward to getting to the park in the next few weeks. I haven't been in a while. When does the taste of the Carolinas end? Hopefully I will be able to make it before it does. The food looks tasty!

I was so stoked they extended this update! I have Kirk in my sights. Should have him by end of weekend. Then Maybe Joe. Still so much to do!

Honestly, I haven't ridden it in the last 3 visits. My family and I just don't enjoy it. Why ruin a perfectly good day by having a splitting headache for the majority of it. I ride rollercoasters to have fun. And that ride just isn't fun for me. And way back in 07' when I rode it the first time, it really wasn't what I would call great. I would love to see it get the Iron Horse treatment. I've only ridden two Rocky Mountain conversions, but both Texas Giant and Rattler went from Meh, and Painful to OMFGAmazeballs and OMFGAmazeballs! So I'm all for it.

What's that? Something you do not possess. Patience is a waste of my time!

Got Stewie just now. have 56 dilithium and less than 50 dark matter with a bit less than 2 days left to play. There is no way in hell I am getting Kirk. Damn it! I thought I played the shit outta this update. But I kept coming up short on things. Any chance they'll extend the run a week.

I should be getting Weird Brain Stewie tomorrow. Hopefully he will help me get the black space stuff so I can get Kirk. He's the one I really want. Don't care about Borg Consuela or Robo Joe.

Flew in to Burbank and over Magic Mountain this morning. The green and blue track on Colossus twisting through a sea of white really pop from the air. I tried to get a picture, but was thwarted by clouds and overcast. Damn you LA and your crap weather!

Wasn't the Matterhorn recently retracked? For that matter, didn't both Space Mountain and Big Thunder get retracked in the last few years as well?

I must be way behind. I am having a ton of trouble getting Dr Crusher. However, I almost have enough cubes to unlock the Holodeck. Should I wait and finish Dr Crusher and get Quagmire Spock first or go ahead and open the Holodeck and start those tasks. I feel like I am way behind on tasks as it is. So much to do and only 2 weeks left. I hope they extend the end date on this one. It is fun, but overwhelming.

It's a very Kafkaesque update. I like it.

Is this park in Tucson? Did it used to be named something else? The Desert Sonora Zoo by chance? If so, the place looks great. Spiders! Uhggggggggg!!!
