Any good news if the rains last night helped? It started drizzling at 8ish with off and on downpours, then poured for like a 45 minute stretch here in Nashville around midnight. I hope the storm pressed on to you all and helped out. My thoughts go out to the people and communities in and around Gatlinburg.

Heading out to Kings Island to take the Midgets to their first adult Halloween event. Pre-scare Boo-feet? Check! Skeleton Keys preordered? Check! Motel for Friday and Saturday? Check! Am I missing anything?

I guess it depends on the person. . it really struck a nerve with certain communities (in particular the LGBT community) as those characters are front and center, and they are dealing with a disease that was still absolutely devastating the artists/creators/shining lights in those communities, with little regards from anyone who was not *part* of those communities. viewed thru that prism?. . . yeah, i TOTALLY get why it's such a loved show (and why I love it so much). it speaks to me, and I KNOW/KNEW many of the characters. . . (does that help any?). Totally get all that, and it was groundbreaking for it's recognition of all that. I just didn't find it to be that entertaining. I do realize that I am in the minority here. I am one of the ostracized few that hates Les Miserables

Never really got all the hype for RENT. Aside from the one song, I found it relatively mundane.

^No way! Think about the ejector airtime! A 40mph launch right into a holding brake! Then just as you recover from the trauma inducing whiplash, you are released into a forceless, uninspired series of pointless inversions. It should be called "The Holy Grail of Ejector! Followed by same old, same old, B&M ,Blah! Blah! Blah!" the ride. I'm in love with this idea!

Awesome WCB! Thank you Robb, Elissa, and the awesome staff at Knott's Berry Farm. You guys all put on a great event! It's so much fun catching up with friends and riding rides. I am so grateful that I was able to attend this year.
