As much as I hated the park when I visited, I am very sad when any park closes. It just seems like the world is forgetting about the rides and going off to go to the water park. This is why I am worried when any park starts taking out big rides, or even forgetting about the rides, and just focusing on the water parks.

I actually go to school with Michael Fertida, the owner of the boardwalk's son. He said that the damage was not that bad and he said that his dad is looking into companies like Intamin. He says that the rides could have been better. I am going to get a call from Michael's dad about the boardwalk tonight. I'll keep yall posted.

I was on Candy Cane Coaster at Santa's Workshop in Colorado (yes I am a credit whore) and it vallied between the lift and the first hill. It took 20 minutes for them to get us off. It was the first time the coaster had vallied according to the manager of the park.

^ I disagree because those parks are some of the greatest. If anything they will be sold to different companies.

Oh my God. This is crazy. I was praying for the bullet to be washed away not the whole boardwalk. This sucks because what if they do not have the money to rebuild the place. It also looks like they are going to have to get a new carousel. Maybe this time around they will buy rides from companies better than Chance. Also maybe they will build a rapids ride or a log flume so that the damage will be minimal. God this sucks.

What an amazing park. I would love to see an Aquatrax in here.

^Ya, I agree. I went on the ride in 2007 and it was great, but not as great as I had remembered it to be back in 2005. It just seemed like the park knew it was amazing and just decided to leave it and just let it sit there.

^Well ya, but Buzzsaw just totally disappeared. I liked Buzzsaw but Powderkeg is better.
