  1. Karen, Gavin and I got away from the heat of Sacramento and headed up to Lake Tahoe for lunch and a movie. It was 115 in Sacramento and about 84 in Lake Tahoe. Big difference. And then we caught Pirates 2. We played a little mini-golf. After lunch we walked around Tahoe a bit. I'm always impressed on how good the food is here. It really kicks the Hard Rocks ass! And when you eat at the Cabo Wabo, it's only right to drink at least one Waborita. We had lunch at Sammy's Cabo Wabo. Insert Elissa's boobs here.
  2. ^I had three bottles of the 06.06.06 Vertical Epic. I'm down to two. I'm going to let them condition for a couple years and watch the tasting notes that are posted every six months. http://www.stonebrew.com/epic/060606/notes/052506.html
  3. NEO-GEO has a new system out? I'd buy it just for Samuri Showdown.
  4. ^Don't you have enough video of girls hair Barry?
  5. I bottled the Weiss Ass Bavarian Pilsner today. And I must say, I am VERY HAPPY about the way it turned out. Samples will be sent out to the BACT shortly after the Dortmunder is bottled.
  6. I met Guy once... it will be a day I will never forget
  7. That's my kind of fair. It looks really awesome despite all the people. Does it usually run around the same time every year? I'm planning a trip to Germany next year and I think this would make an awesome stop. And yes, I'm going to taste beer. Stops in Germany, Begium and France... all for beer tasting. And maybe do some sight seeing
  8. Oh my God... that looks damn impressive. When does school start up again?
  9. I was always under the impression that it was Buffalo. So neither of you have been to Nashville, huh? -Julie Don't forget Toledo
  10. ^I would comment, but I'm a afraid to. There always tracking names and company info on the net. So since I kind of still need my job, I'm not going to say anything. Brewing my own beer should give you a hint at it though.
  11. Doug Muhleman was actually was at our brewery last week and really didn't discuss anything about the Rolling Rock brand. Which is weird, because when the company takes on a project like that it's usually big news. I did ask him if the painted bottle would go away and would be replaced by a APL(Adhesive Plastic Label) label, like what is used on Bud Light, and he said, "No, but that doesn't mean it won't in the future." And our brewery thought that we would be brewing Rolling Rock by August and we were told that not unless Rolling Rock's volume picks up on the west coast. Which doesn't make any sense to me because the cost of bottling 10,000cs or so a week would be a hell of a lot cheaper than shipping it across country. But what do I know... I'm just brewer.
  12. Man... you and my buddy Craig would get a long great. He's a free fall freak! He flys from Vegas to Cedar Point about 8 times a year just to ride Demon Drop.
  13. That's good black mail material there. I'm keeping that one.

  21. Getting ready to bottle to Dortmunder. The beer will be bottled in a 16oz brown bottle with a Grolsch style cap and gold lettering. And speaking of gold... Karen made out pretty well yesterday with this little gift I got her.
