  1. This was a track I made for a recent challenge over at CoasterSims.com. The challenge was to make a fun family coaster of any style, without heavy banking, and no faster than 35 mph. You also had to cross over a few markers within the boundary, which is what all the extra supports are. For some reason, my computer doesn't have the ability to run the sim, so I basically built this entirely in the editor. Anyway, I thought I would share it now that the challenge period is over. hahaha, oh man, in-editor train perspective. Heck yeses. Sassy Scooters.nltrack Yes, that's right, I named it Sassy Scooters.
  2. ^Typing class has nothing to do with proper sentence structure....
  3. Obviously it should be spelled Klumsy Katastrophe if you're going to misspell "clan" as Klan.
  4. OKAY, really just for reference, in the Hobbit, and the subsequent LOTR novels, Tolkien wasn't just telling a story but he was also creating an entire alternate world. So you're going to have to read a lot to get through the story as much of it is background information on the area and lands to give the story a realism and richness that many novels now days lack.
  5. bahahahahahahahahaha I appreciate the quote on the back.
  6. And this makes you sad....
  7. I only say that because honestly I don't find those books hard to read. I like the descriptive passages and the varied structure. Harry Potter is fun to read, but honestly I'd say that once I finish a classic, I get a lot more enjoyment out of it. SUCH AS, I'm reading Heart of Darkness right now. It's basically a quote of a first person narrative within another first person narrative. It's pretty intriguing. MARK, it's funny you say that. I wasn't a big fan of that book, but then i read a couple of Hawthornes short stories, mainly The Minister's Black Veil, and came to appreciate it even more. He's definitely an author you have to read a few of his works to truly enjoy it.
  8. Superman isnt a disappointment, they just don't run it like they should anymore. Honestly, it makes me wonder when they'll get around to installing more modern, cost efficient LIMs.
  9. Basically Florida and Southern Calidornia are the only domestic places with parks that stay open year-round.
  10. That's just for coasters. ACE don't mean a thing in the big scheme of things.
  11. ^Except SFWoA has no relation since Shapiro wants to sell parks mainly to preserve an image he's trying to achieve.
  12. I find whether S&S, bigger is never better. They're good for a quick shot, but once they get to big it's just cumbersome and looses it's fun.
  13. Yeah, just look at SFMM. I mean, they're kinda disappointed after only riding a 1 like Revvy, but give 'em a nice 7 like Riddler and they just go crazy.
  14. Some would argue differently....
  15. Really, it depends on the inversion. On loops, Id have to say I prefer positive Gs like an SK looper, while hangtime on B&Ms is fun, you just can't beat being whiped over the top. Zero-gs obviously floater. Corkscrews can go either way: it's really fun to be whipped through a corkscrew, but ive been on a couple B&Ms where you just coast so perfect over the top it's awesome. Dive loops I like hangimte because I think it's fun when you're launched up and then just kind of 'fall" through the half loop. However, I like immelmens to be intense. Cobra rolls I like to be in the middle, where you feel constant force, but arent necessarily being "pushed' into your seat.
  16. Yeah... thats what I said to your mom last night. I know, you were pretty loud about it too. I heard it way out here in GA.
  17. The CP07 thread is just obnoxious and fun, this one really brings joy to my heart though. I shall cherish it dearly. OKAY, and of all the really crazy things said in this thread, I'm surprised nobody has been like,"Why doesn't ACE buy it and save it???? There are so many members I'm sure they could do it!@!!!!"
  18. This is basically the best and most hilarious thread I've ever read.
