He did use it, but like you said, it's a thought and saying that has been around MUCH longer than Dan Brown has. Free thinking didn't start with DaVinci Code. Possibly because it's more difficult and emotionally straining than you would think?

Why Do Some Coasters Get Trashed?
BiCoastal Kid replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Eh, to me, I think people are too whiny. Honestly, rides that other people call rough I think aren't that bad. A lot of people think GACyclone is really rough, when it isnt, it's violent but in a really good way. I'd heard plenty of complaints about SLCS, and while they arent the smoothest, I still think they're fun. Ive never found Revolution to be painful, or Viper, Ninja, or Psyclone. The only two coasters that come to mind that I definitely agree with being rough would be Ninja @ SFoG and Twisted Twins @ SFKK. -

I caught your drift, Colin. I think I probably find it funnier than you do. -
What is the best concert you have ever been to?
BiCoastal Kid replied to SonOfBeastSucks's topic in Random, Random, Random
Of the concerts I've been to, and this is not indicative of my music tastes at all, but a couple years back i went and saw Vendetta Red, Brand New, MxPx, and Dashboard Confessional at the Atlanta Tabernacle. Usually I don't listen to that music too often, but I must say I was damn impressed with how good all of those bands sounded live. Especially Dashboard, just so crisp and accurate. I must sound like a emo whore, haha. -

No, the listed heartlines would be the correct heartline values listed for each corresponding track type at the top right of the AHG application box.... -

Oh god, I wouldnt have any idea. Except for Virgil, the minihyper, and the CSChallenge small coaster, those were made all maybe a year or more ago. Aside from the "Venus Helixes" I believe I used the listed heartline heights for them all. I know on the Venus Helixes I think I set the heartline higher than it should have been to make it seem more "swingy" when transitioning between turns. -

Ummm, it depends on the style because the heartline height is different for all the track styles.... -

No, I meant in the AHG. The number. I knew exactly what you were talking about. I asked what rides didn't feel right. I can probably give explainations if it's for specific rides, or just specific areas on rides. -

Which ones seemed weird? If it was thw woodies, I know I didnt do those correctly because I wanted them to either under or overexaggerated so that they weren't 'perfect" and would give some laterals. -

I'm not a fan of inversions. Iu only have a couple that have inversions, one of which is about to be junkyarded because the transitions are pretty bad. Not that i tried to smooth, it's just an idea coaster, but really.... there's a couple transitions on it that are just bad. Other than that I have a couple "okay" ones on CoasterSims thatd id have to upload here. -

Okay. All of these were handbuilt, or handbuilt and then AHG. Inertiatic was built far before the lementary or the AHG were around. it was also built before heartlinign was implimented into NL so the G reading will be a bit off now, but the track shaping is still very very good and flows very well aside from the flat section at the end where I couldnt figure out another way to finish the ride and have it flow well with the rest of the ride. Link: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=146 Virgil was built for a CoasterSims challenge, and I couldn't use the sim because my computer is messing up lately. Still,f rom what I'm told it only pulls somewhere around 5 Gs? A little more? I'm not sure because I can't check, either way, although those are sustained for a bit the track is still pretty good aside from a couple moments where I accidentally adjusted a vertex and had to hand place and shape it back to the best of my ability. (uploaded) Conveluted, although hilarious misspelled, is an earlier track. I won't cop out that being a woodie excuses some of it's problems, mainly the absolutely non-heartlined entrance and exit from that helix, but overall it's pretty okay. Link: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=145 Here are some ride that I threw, most for obvious reasons, away for others to do as they pleased at the NLDC scrapyard: http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/scrapyardtracks/194-BiCoastalKid-CSChallenge1.nltrack http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/scrapyardtracks/184-BiCoastalKid-MiniProjectHyper1.nltrack http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/scrapyardtracks/96-BiCoastalKid-Twisty.nltrack http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/scrapyardtracks/94-BiCoastalKid-VenusHelixes.nltrack http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/scrapyardtracks/86-BiCoastalKid-Togo.nltrack http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/scrapyardtracks/85-BiCoastalKid-Ritaesque.nltrack http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/scrapyardtracks/52-BiCoastalKid-GerstlaurBobsled.nltrack http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/scrapyardtracks/51-BiCoastalKid-CaliScreaminTribute.nltrack Virgil.nltrack Here ya go. -

Or maybe Im saying that some the entrances and exits from your turns and helixes are too sudden and wouldn't be very comfortable to ride in real life. I'm trying to give you constructive criticism, but if you're going to be stupid about it and deny the fact that your track shaping is sub-par, EVEN FOR A HANDBUILT RIDE, than you can go ahead and continue releasing tracks that don't achieve their full potential. -

^Yeah, see, for me I can honestly say that when I was "a kid" I liked both guys and girls, but once I started to mature I realized I was attracted to guys, and not girls. I mean, I can look at woman and say that i am asthetically attracted to them, because i have an eye for such things, but I would never even consider doing anything with them just because it doesn't appeal to me.
