I hope this will be available for the Tampa location because I'm planning on doing a trip there with my family soon and this would be a great money saver.

Hi, I'm heading to Florida for spring break during the first week of April. I was wondering what should I expect on crowds and is it worth going Friday for the extra 3 hours as the park is open 10-9 or going during the middle of the week when it is open 10-6. I have a plan for ride order with Cheetah Hunt>Cobra's Curse>Falcons Fury and then the rest of the rides. Do they have an app that says ride times? Otherwise is there anything else I shouldn't miss while at the park? Thank you in advance.

Pick one. GCI. 4. How many different parks did you visit in 2017? 6 different parks. 5. How many times did you visit your home park in 2017? Probably a little more than 10. 6. What was the first RMC you rode? Goliath @ my home park, SGam. 7. Best view from the top of a lift? Millenium Force. 8. What new-for-2018 roller coaster are you most anticipating? Pick one. Speed at Energylandia since my family is from that area and I will be probably visiting it when it opens. 9. RMC or Intamin? You can only choose one. RMC. 10. What was your favorite new-to-you ride of 2017? Storm Chaser. 11. Money is no object. You can travel to any park in the world right now by snapping your fingers. Where are you going? Liseberg, both Helix and Balder look amazing. 12. Have you ever made out with someone in a queue line? Not recently but yes. 13. What is the last coaster that changed your top 10? Lightning Rod. 14. Disney or Universal? Universal overall better but Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite parks. 15. When is the last time you witnessed someone puke at a park? Last year on Raging Bull. 16. How many new credits did you pick up in 2017? If you don't count, take your best guess... I picked up about 30 credits. 17. You're at Magic Mountain. You have a one hour ERT session on ONE coaster of your choice. You choose... Haven't been yet but from what I've seen Twisted Collosus looks like the one. 18. Name a coaster or ride that you passionately dislike. I dislike the Demon at SGam. It makes my head hurt every time I ride but I try to get on it at least once a season. 19. What is the most amount of money you've spent on a Fast Pass? $0 got a free one for Cedar Point and SGam once though. 20. Skyscreamers or Windseekers? Skyscreamers! 21. What is your most recent B&M credit? Wild Eagle @ Dollywood. 22. Best adult beverage at a theme park? (under 21: whats your favorite beverage you can only get at a park?) Unfortunately under 21 but butterbeer comes to mind. 23. Most irritating coaster nickname/abbreviation? iRat, it just sounds so bad. 24. Butterbeer or Dole Whip? Butterbeer but I do enjoy a good Dole Whip as well. 25. Favorite steel coaster *under* 100 feet? Storm Chaser, Lightning Run, and Thunderhead are all 100ft so I'll just break the rules and say those three. 26. What's the best bathroom at your home park? The ones behind the season pass station near Whizzer. Usually clean and empty. 27. Nighttime ERT on Lightning Rod or all-you-can-eat Cinnamon Bread? You can only choose one. Nighttime ERT. My nighttime ride in 35-degree weather was the highlight of the season for me this year. 28. If it were in your power, what coaster would you relocate to Knoebels? Wooden Roller Coaster from Knightvalley because Knoebels can't get enough perfect woodies. 29. What is the last thing you remember eating in a theme park? Cinnamon Bread @ Dollywood. 30. Your favorite coaster got equipped with on board audio x Spotify. What's your hype track? Flight by Rich Brian. Always makes me feel happy. 31. Name the most disappointing ride you took in 2017. The Voyage. Not that it was that bad but after such a long coaster trip and with so many good rides, this one just didn't live up to the high expectations I gave it. I will have to try it again at Holliwood Nights though. 32. Airtime hill or Zero G Roll? Zero G Roll. 33. What is your favorite coaster/ride built before 1970? Only riden a few but Blue Streak comes to mind. 34. What's worse - splashed by malaria lake flume water or dripped on by chain lift grease? Grease, harder to get off. 35. Name an Intamin coaster on your bucketlist! Expedition Geforce. 36. You just won a 3 day trip with hotel and airfare included. The catch is you have to choose between Disneyworld or Cedar Point. Which do you choose and why? Cedar Point. I truly loved Disneyworld but I'm a thrillseeker and as much as the immersion of Animal Kingdom can give me, I need more thrills. Although after Star Wars land opens I may reconsider. 37. Floater or Ejector? Ejector. 38. What was your worst park experience of 2017? Not necessarily bad but Holiday World. I visited a lot of awesome parks this year but my experience with the Voyage was the only one that really disappointed me. 39. Name your favorite coaster under 41 feet tall. Little Dipper @ SGam. Best Woodie ever! 40. End your post with an aerial shot of one of your top 5 coasters.

Late March, Early April: Spring Break trip to Dollywood, Busch Gardens Tampa, and probably Seaworld and the Funspots. Early June: Coastermania! or Holiwood Nights and then probably Kentucky Kingdom or KingsIsland on the same trip. Mid Summer: Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and Carowinds and maybe more east coast parks. Late Summer: Silver Dollar City and Worlds of Fun. Otherwise impromptu trips to both Dollywood and Six Flags Great America

Kentucky Kingdom has an out of state deal for 40 dollars tickets for 2 days and free drinks so the tickets are not that expensive. It is worth the price even of the normal tickets because of Storm Chaser. Deal is here: https://www.kentuckykingdom.com/out-of-state-visitors/

If I could make a small park I would... Roller Coasters: Chance Hyper GT-X Twister GCI (like Thunderhead or Gold Striker) Vekoma Spacewarp or one of their new launch looping models. and a Zierer ESC for the kids! Other Thrill Attractions: Larson Drop Tower S&S Swings and a Maxi Dance 360 Frisbee Ride (SpinCycle @SilverWood) Family Attractions: Haunted House Double Decker Carousel Scrambler Some Swings Knoebel's Flyers and some other stuff. Well it's not that small but smaller than other's ideas in this thread.

^ This made my morning. I'm so excited to experience my homepark like this although last call fest was pretty much HITP without the decorations.

Do we know what it will be? Maybe a Gravity Group Woodie like Wooden Warrior or Timber? That would make me want to return to the park even more.

Across the street from Six Flags Great America is an awesome Italian Fast Food place called Mama K's. My favorite place to go after some rides on Goliath!

I'm really loving this trip report especially with your father involved! With my grand father introducing me to roller coasters its great to see people still living the dream!

Sorry I already had them ordered 01. Storm Chaser (NEW) 02. Lightning Rod (NEW) 03. The Voyage (NEW) 04. Lightning Run (NEW) 05. Thunderhead (NEW) 06. DiamondBack (NEW) 07. Raging Bull 08. Mystic Timbers (NEW) 09. Banshee (NEW) 10. Goliath (Great America) Storm Chaser hauls with the new wheels but Lightning Rod almost took its number one spot with a winter night ride. Overall great year!

There is hot chocolate available throughout the park, from my own memory I know the Bakery and the Mill both have it. It was really just regular hot coco that I had but I know at certain places (I think the Bakery is one of those) they add in different flavors like peppermint and vanilla. Overall the hot chocolate wasn't bad and was a great sight for my cold, sore, eyes.

Hi, my family and I are making a trip down to Six Flags St. Louis in late December and I was wondering if anyone could give any insight if they are running the coasters during such cold weather. I know that at my home park (SFGam) they were running them at freezing temperatures but they warmed up the track before but I was wondering if thats the same case with St. Louis. I know some coaster are just closed for HITP but I'm mostly asking for Mr. Freeze and American Thunder. Thanks!

I didn't think the park was that bad, I just think that it needs a new "bigger" coaster. This is actually one of those parks that a Chance Hyper GT-X would be perfect for. Otherwise I don't really see another reason for me to revisit this park.

Really? I must be going insane because last year at HoliWood Nights it felt a lot faster and more intense. When I went later in the summer it felt a bit slower. Oh well still always a pleasure to have a few night rides.

Agreed I got last ride of the night which ended up being my favorite coaster
