I highly doubt that's all of the queue. There is probably more under the transfer track. -

^I assume it's because that support has electrical wiring behind it. Nice pics! I'm even more excited for visiting this summer! -

^Then again, adding airtime to the voyage is like adding water to the ocean I'm excited to see what this renovation does to reduce injuries. I don't think I've had a headache that bad in my life... -

I am a hardcore coaster rider and I really only go to parks to strictly ride coasters, but I must admit I really love walking through the starlight experience. It's one of my very favorite things about night life at CP. I liked it a lot more than the stupid fireworks shows in past years, which progressively just got worse. Starlight adds a wonderful ambiance to the area and it really makes you feel peaceful, regardless of what you're day's been like. -
Great 3ds work. You seem to have done a lot of homework on Impulse coasters. However, [i hate to be a stickler about little details] Impulse coasters do not use proxy sensors. Also, I can't tell if you used Newton or AHG, but I would have liked to see the twist be much smoother. It has too much of a hand-built feel for my taste, especially since the track obviously went through one of those secondary programs. You can see by the heartline: Maybe you could smooth that out a bit. Other than that, I thought it was a great attempt! Keep working at it!

Welcome to NoLimits! It's a pretty crazy program as I'm sure you'll learn. My few opinions are as follows: -I like the blue/white track. It's definitely better than the yellow loop on Green Lantern at SFGAdv...however the green and yellow trains are kinda weird. I would have maybe a darker shaded color just to compliment the supports better. -The supports on the top hat do not look supportive at all. It looks ready to fall to the side. I would consider supporting both sides individually like Xcelerator or supporting the entire top hat as one tower like Top Thrill Dragster. -Also, a lot of your supports have the joints really far from the track. A helpful tool people use is called the 'tunnel test' where you add a tunnel to the segment with a support and you can see how close you can get to the track without having clearance issues with the train. See here: The images on the right are much more sturdy and consolidated. Here is the tunnel test. As you can see, this coaster actually fails in this spot because the support goes through the tunnel. This is a good way to tell if your supports get too close to the track, but also a good way to tell if they are too far from the track. 123tunnel-120414185226001.bmp I hope this helps!

^^Thank you While that looks fine on paper in practice it doesn't work since instead of shopping or eating people are stuck in line for rides that move even slower than before. This isn't RCT we're talking about. If people are going to eat or buy something at a theme park, they're going to do it regardless of when/how long they are in line. If anything they are going to ride less coasters so they can eat. Now can we all just let this go? If you want to boycott the park because of FastLane, then DO IT, don't go, and I'll enjoy the shorter lines -

What's the problem? It's a straight piece of track with a brake on it. Big deal. It looks like it's right before the final brake run anyway. I really like Shamabuckbuck's track/train color scheme. I was expecting it to look similar to Alpengeist, but it doesn't. Seriously, B&M hyper coasters are (obviously) DESIGNED to have trims so the speed can be regulated due to weather and load differential. The experience you get is the one they designed on purpose, it's not like adding trims to I305's drop... -

With a disabled rider it's far different than with someone who "pays" to cut the line since the disabled rider has a valid reason for being permitted to use an alternate entrance to board an attraction....besides with a disabled rider there aren't streams of them all attempting to board at the same time so that analogy doesn't hold water. Also with special access passes, they actually have to wait the same amount of time the line would be, they just don't have to wait IN the line. Another thing is that if a ride does get flooded with special access passes all at once, we're not even allowed to use the same seats twice in a row, so the front won't get hogged or something like that. I doubt FL will be used in that manner, since there are several ways to get to the station that aren't the exit (on most of the FL rides, at least). ^As I mentioned earlier, flooding of the station has nothing to do with park policy or guidelines, it is simply the choice of the ride ops at the time, and like I said at Dragster or Millennium, the crowd position is the position that starts rotation every half hour, so the station will get flooded nonetheless. Waiting in a station is not a bad thing, just get used to it. -

^CP in early early June, the lines are nothing. The 14th, however may be a little bit more crowded, but it's still never more than 45 minutes for the popular rides, especially at CP since capacity is really important. The one thing you can't avoid, fast pass or not, is that the Intamin coasters will spend quite some time being broken down unless you're lucky. Well MF and TTD stations have been flooded for years, so if FL manages to fix that, that's another good reason why CP is implementing it. In my personal opinion though, exit ramp access would be so much easier, just look at the rides they chose (MF, TTD, Corkscrew, Gemini, PT, MaXair), where, like on corkscrew, one exit from the station could be a regular exit, where the other could be a fast lane line. Just my two cents. Whether or not a station is flooded is purely the decision of the ride ops, and it changes constantly because MF and TTD cut the crowd position to start rotation every half hour. It's not a "fix" that needs to be solved. Plus I don't really think they would need to distinguish between fast lane lines and such, because either way, the guests with fast lane will have wrist bands (or whatever) and the ride ops up at the station can mediate it, whether it's to the unload station or the load station. Not too different from the way the special access is already done, I'm sure. -

A couple questions: Does anybody know how many cars per train? It's hard to tell with the picture of that cable wheel on the ground, but is it easier to tell what the cable's going to do now that construction is progressing? Can anyone tell what the 3 queues are for? What it looks like to me is a front/middle/back type of thing.
