  1. ^ Something tells me you watch Anthony Fantano.
  2. That's the one!
  3. Went to the park yesterday and had an awesome time. Few things to note: -FINALLY did Kraken VR after about nine months of thinking "VR is stupid," and... I mean, meh? I liked it, I guess... the visuals were clean, it was all synced up really well (except for the audio, the headphones didn't work. I told a ride op and they gave me a re-ride pass. Score. ), just... I don't know, I just can't see this being a permanent thing. Give it a few years, I'm sure the VR portion will phase out sooner or later. It's so much better without the screen strapped to your face, I can tell you that much. -Mako gets better and better every time I ride it. It was my first time riding in the back row, and holy wow. That first drop is fan-tas-tic. It's my number one for a really good reason. -The entire area with Wild Arctic/Happy Harbor needs a HUGE update. The entire kids area is sunbleached colors central, and Wild Arctic is just... so.... BAD. The animation looks like the definition of early 1990's 3D animation, and the motions of the ride are genuinely painful. Ugh. The exhibit is still the best in the park somehow. -Manta in the backseat is God. All I gotta say.
  4. Okay I guess I'm up. Cool! -currently SBNO -received Millennium Flyers in the last few years of its life -is actually two credits
  5. I know it's been said many times before, but gawdam those colors.
  6. Well, this was a bit surprising. If the ride really is as bad as people say, I'm a fan. of this announcement. Props to WOF for maintaining their rides the right way!
  7. BJ's is a chain, we have more than a few of 'em down here in Florida. But yeah, their pizza is amazing and the only time I'll ever accept deep dish as an option. So good.
  8. Oblivion at Alton Towers?
  9. Life on Mars? - David Bowie. It's been almost two years. You're still missed.
  10. Okay, I can't be the only one who gets this.
  11. What's this supposed to mean?
  12. Oh dear god. . . My friend went to Busch Gardens Tampa and skipped Montu because "it looked the same as Mind Eraser." He had already left the park before I had realized what he had done. This post physically hurts.
  13. Calling it now: World's Largest Chicken Nugget Stand.
  14. A new timeline park on RCT2? Do my eyes decieve me?? Good stuff dude. Love the entrance plaza.
  15. Funny story... every year I go up to my uncles place for a few weeks during the summer and hit up Wild Adventures with them, and every year they make it a priority to hit up Twisted Typhoon (the park's SLC) at least two or three times. Seriously, they all LOVE the thing. I don't mind, it's the only SLC I've been on and it's decently smooth. HOWEVER. Last year they flipped the script and headed over to my house, so we went to BGT to kill an afternoon. We rode every single coaster there- this includes Montu, Kumba, SheiKra, and Cheetah Hunt- and everyone still thought ol' TT was better (although SheiKra was a huge hit for the group). Lol GP.
  16. Thank you for making that image burned into my brain.
  17. SOMEBODY TOUCHA MY SPAGHET
  18. Nice report! Hopefully I can make it here someday, Lagoon looks like a great park.
  19. It's actually pretty warm today, even for Florida standards (high today is 79)... very confusing as I was just wearing a jacket two days ago. Oh well.
  20. Its a chance big dipper right? Bruh
  21. Still feels weird to see a second launch coaster coming to this park, but from what I've heard Sky Rocket II's are awesome, so this should be awesome. Can't wait to see it up and running.
  22. So I'm pretty sure we all know what OpenRCT2 is at this point, and how the servers can be used for either wonderfully made collaborative realisms, or the coaster enthusiast's version of sh*tposting. There's a website I frequent called New Element that does the former- gathering a few people on the site, focusing on a certain theme, and building a park in a matter of weeks. I'd love to bring this concept over here to TPR, but I'd love to see y'alls feedback. Would any of you be interested in a project such as this?
  23. Yeah, okay, this is gonna be nuts.
