  1. So what if the Racer is actually one track? I remember seeing a Racer where the train started in one side of the station, and ended in the other side. Know what I'm talking about?
  2. "Whatever is on your mind..." ok, done It's late... sarcasm is on
  3. ^ So is that you in your avatar? well since this *is* the Theme Park Review Forum... this one is courtesy of Theme Park Review! (SFOG Superman Media day) I'm next to Derek I had a hard time picking out the rest of these. We took over 300 pictures on our (first) WDW vacation in december. I also have about a dozen great "Kodak Photo Spot" pictures - we are always standing right by the sign, smiling and pointing at it. Laura (my sister) and me at Big Thunder in WDW all I said was "Blue Team sucks!" Out of the Way! just a couple dorks trying to fly a rocket ship (Brian, my roomate, is in the "backseat") Let go of me Mr Potato Head! You're not my type.
  4. didn't take long for that joke to be made
  5. stay away from the Sony Micro MV format! Its Sony's format they invented (kinda like Mini Disc) and its only compatible with their editing software - I had to buy a $250 DV bridge so I could use it with Premiere.
  6. Space Mountain at WDW Magic Kingdom
  7. Visionland - 20 minutes (I rarely go) SFOG - 2:45 I consider SFOG my home park. I usually make 4 trips a year. Bret "get my money's worth out of a season pass" Pritchett
  8. ADMIN NOTE: Split from the BGT Shakira thread. Robb, how did Silver Bullet dissapoint? It looks like a good layout (I haven't been on it yet).
  9. ^ in 2002 when I went to SFKK the turnstile wouldn't take my season pass (from SFOG). I had to go to customer service to get a comp - still only took 5 minutes though.
  10. No Premiere?!?! This is some sort of conspiracy! Well even if Premiere was listed, I would pick Intamin. To me, Intamin includes Schwarzkoph. I'd say my least favorite B&M is Apollo's Chariot - maybe if it wasn't so hyped up I would have liked it more. My least favorite Intamin is Flashback. B&M = Honda : reliable and smooth Intamin = BMW : more expensive, but higher performance and power my favorites: Intamin Millennium Force California Screamin SROS (I've only bee on the one in SFA) Xcellerator * I will ride Storm Runner this year, I predict that will be a favorite B&M Dueling Dragons Wildfire Raging Bull Alpengeist * I will ride Shakira this year, thinking it will also be added Premiere Mr Freeze (both) Outer Limits (both) / Joker's Jinx Speed
  11. Wacky Soap Box Racers! how did you find that video?! I think the last time I went on them I was 10. That video brings back some memories. It was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I don't understand why there weren't more steeple chase rides.
  12. ok, that park grouping helps I really just need to buy a big map and put it on the wall, with thumb-tacks at park locations. With SFGAdv working on their 13th coaster (record breaking at that), do you think it will require more than one day? I will probably be going on weekday. I have a Six Flags season pass, so cost isn't too much of an issue.
  13. I've got a lot of parks in the North east I want to go to. I'm sure it will take 2, maybe 3 trips to get them all: Pennsylvania: Conneaut Lake Park Dorney Park Hersheypark Kennywood Park Lakemont Knoebels Idlewood other Northeast parks: Six Flags Great Adventure Lake Compounce Six Flags New England The Great Escape Six Flags Darien Lake Which should I combine for one trip? Is there a good route to hit all the PA parks? Are any of the small parks close enough to get to 2 in one day? I'm not very good when it comes to route planning. Especially since I've never been to any of those parks (or states) - so ANY suggestions would help. My ideal trip is a "leave on sunday, get back on friday" (6 day) style trip (that worked great for my Ohio trip last year). Since there are so many up there and it would make sense to make the most of things if I'm in the area, I might be able to do a "sunday through next week's friday" trip (13 days). I usually have at least 3 people with me, so driving is more affordable for us than flying (my parents have a nice travel van, I use it more than they do!). ideas?
  14. *shakes head* saw that coming as soon as I read "P-drive"
  15. oh hell yea - I would love to see someone with a funny picture on IMDB. Every picture is a serious head shot or some red carpet photo.
  16. I just woke up - so shorts and a big blanket wrapped around me probably time to take a shower and get dressed
  17. hmm - maybe if all the speakers in it were functional....
  18. ^ I wouldn't mind topping off ShaKira's Immelman I'm going in december. This is definitely my most anticipated coaster of the year!
