  1. That looks insane. I'd be tempted to do this for the awesome fireworks, but the amount of people would likely annoy me. So I'm glad you went and took photos for the rest of us! dt
  2. Not necessarily calling for more reviews, but a larger staff of people watching plays and perhaps catching things. More refs on the field might help as well, and might be a better solution. Something needs to be done, though, as the refs seem to be getting worse. dt
  3. Three spins this morning, three $1000 wins. Boo! dt
  4. ^With all the technology that's available now, someone should be looking at every play. There is no excuse for some of the blatant crap calls I've seen this year. Missing that call in the KC likely cost a team a playoff spot (sure, the kicker might have missed a second time, but we'll never know now). I'd hate to see something like this happen in a playoff game. What has annoyed me far more today, though, is the extreme obnoxiousness of Ravens' fans, with their gloating about the Steelers not getting in. Um, did anyone watch the Ravens play the last two weeks? All they had to do is win, and they couldn't come close to managing that. Focus on the blunders of your own team, not how a crap call kept a hot team out of the playoffs (though to be fair, what really kept the Steelers out of the playoffs was their absolute horrible play in September!). Both teams ended up 8-8, but I know which one had a better shot of winning a playoff game. I'd say Ravens fans are the worst, but as long as the 49ers are around, that's a position that cannot be challenged... dt
  5. Damnation Angels - Pride (The Warrior's Way) dt
  6. ^^I noticed the Golden Scratcher was gone too. I was sort of surprised, as you'd think anything that could potentially generate cash would never be removed from the game. Maybe they are changing the odds around for different donut payouts or something. Or raising the price. dt
  7. I find it almost more interesting to see what people are putting at the bottom of the lists than at the top. Hades 360 really must be the biggest waste of wood ever! I haven't done my list yet, but as I rode no new wood coasters this year (just like last year) and only rode one wood coaster all year (Phoenix), I don't think it's going to take me very long... dt
  8. Every time I win money on that wheel I want to throat punch someone. At least have it give out donuts! dt
  9. The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping dt
  10. I'll admit I am a life-long Eagles fan, so perhaps I'm biased, but they seem to be on a hot streak right now, and could go far into the playoffs. I'd love to see them in the SB, but considering how badly they played at the beginning of the year, just seeing them in the playoffs would be exciting. I really don't think Baltimore is going to get in, as I don't see them getting past the Bengals on Sunday. Especially after how poorly they played last week. dt
  11. So happy to see the glory of Meat Cow can still be experienced! dt
  12. Easily the most fun I had watching a movie in 2013. I thought this year was pretty weak for movies, with most things I saw being "meh". Deena and I have kind of stopped going to the theater, since everything has to be 3D now, which means an outing of $30+. We pretty much are just waiting for things to show up on the OnDemand on FIOS, where it's usually $5 to watch a movie. We've found between the giant TV, the kick ass surround system I have, and the easy access to tasty food, we don't miss the theater experience. dt
  13. ^This. Just because there's a large number of tourists in the area, doesn't mean they're going to be interested in a park in the area. Myrtle Beach and Hard Rock Park are a great example of this. dt
  14. ^This is one of the wisest decisions you (or any human) can make during their lives. Carnival is horrid. dt
  15. This thread rules. I don't have any coaster shirts, but still have all my TPR tour shirts. dt
  16. It's great that Universal is building all sorts of new stuff, but at the end of the day, I don't think they (or anyone else) will ever catch up to Disney. I'm sure the new Potter stuff will give them an attendance boost, though I'm really curious to see how the public reacts to having to buy two park tickets to experience all the Potter attractions. dt
  17. I haven't been able to get in yet today. I'll try later tonight. Stupid EA! dt
  18. Led Zeppelin - Black Dog dt
  19. Judas Priest - Desert Plains dt
  20. Megadeth - Hanger 18 dt
  21. Pagan's Mind - Aegean Shores dt
  22. Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf dt
  23. Yeah, just one so far as well. dt
  24. I know most of these bands work the State Fair circuit. I wouldn't be surprised if they shared the same management or promotion companies, and they're all just jumping on this without thinking about it. None of these bands have had ANY press in ten or twenty years, so it's a great way for them to get their names in the news. I'm pretty sure 99% don't have any idea what SeaWorld is. Musicians are not the smartest people on the planet... dt
  25. Pantera - Mouth For War dt
