I'm kind of "meh" about this, as the show was not good when it ended. I don't think I even finished watching the final season. At least they're doing it as a limited series, and hopefully this will compel them to tell a complete story, with not having to worry about another season or being afraid to kill off characters. dt

Exactly. Any system can fail or have issues. Just because it's at a Disney property doesn't make it immune to this. And they handled it well. And have likely learned a lot about their system, including how to avoid this issue in the future. The ones complaining are likely the malcontents that don't like this system because they can't "game" it like the old one, or feel that it allows guests to do stuff that they should have to pay "Disney experts" to learn how to do so they can best visit the parks and stuff. These people are dumb. And many are likely wearing marathon medals as we speak. dt

I think this ride makes perfect sense for Knoebel's. It adds a style of attraction that hasn't been at the park for awhile, and isn't an insane budget buster like some people had suggested. I like the location as well. They need to work on the PR skills (seriously, if you're going to announce a ride, put together a press release and be consistant on your various social media platforms), but this is a good addition that I think will make the majority of park guests happy. dt

I'm excited about Sharknado 2. I'm also excited about Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark (which I believe is out on DVD now) and the Sharktopus sequel. dt

^Yes, the ghost pepper is indeed near or at the top of the hot pepper list. I've had ghost pepper salt, and just a little pinch caused quite the burning sensation. I like spicy stuff, but this is too far up the scale for me. dt

Yeah, I think every park has at least one patron like this guy. We had one or two when I worked at Hersheypark, and people I know that have worked at different parks have similar stories. In my case we told the guy that he could ride the ride as often as he wanted, but he had to obey all the rules just like everyone else. He was pretty good about that, but loved to try and strike up conversations with employees, like we were his "friends", which was annoying when you're just trying to work and keep an eye on the ride and the crowds. I think because of this experience I find this sort of behavior on the creepy side, and just try to stay away from it as much as possible. dt

This rules. Mary and I were actually talking about this trip tonight (which turned into a discussion about Balder, which isn't in the UK, but hey, BALDER). Looking forward to more! dt
