I maintain most of these people never went to these parks, and are now upset because they never "got the credit". Because a credit count is an all-important thing. Like you (and other smart people), these places have insurance, will rebuild, and have the chance to upgrade their business, and hopefully have an awesome year next season. Yes, it sucks that these places got thrashed by the storm, but I find myself feeling worse for people I know that lost their houses and everything in them. Sorry if that makes me a terrible enthusiast or whatever... dt

^Yes. Certainly in my Top Ten, maybe my Top Five. The rides I got on it at the first(?) Solace when it rained before ERT that night are still some of the most intense and insane coaster rides I've ever had. If they could somehow resurrect this ride with topper track or whatever it would be such a wise investment. dt

^Andy Nelson's is not far from my house. The pulled pork is amazing. For ribs, however, you need to drive south a bit on the same road and visit The Corner Stable. The sign on the building that says "Best Ribs In Baltimore" does not lie. In fact, they're the best I've ever had. dt

From that list, I'd like to see JJ Abrams, Joss Whedon or Guillermo Del Toro take a crack at it. I'd be especially interested in Del Toro, and hope that it makes a billion dollars so he can finally make his dream project, At The Mountains Of Madness. And yeah, Edgar Wright would be an interesting choice as well. Seeing different, talented people making a Star Wars movie actually sort of has me excited about seeing another Star Wars movie, something that wouldn't be possible if Lucas was involved. dt

I'm sure that most of the ACEr/Enthusiass simpering is brought on by them not having the credit, and now they'll never be able to add it to their precious Coaster Count, which is obviously all so much more important than having money or a place to live or food or a life or regular sex...I swear the only thing more annoying than these people are Bronies. dt

ACErs are just mad because they don't have the credits, and cannot now lord over others who didn't have the credits by telling people how "amazing" these rides were and too bad they missed out on it (see: Geauga Lake Big Dipper). Yeah, these two rides were brutal, some of the worst I've been on in the world. I feel bad for the people that own these attractions, but am hoping they'll replace them with something a lot better. dt
