  1. I totally know that feeling, one can only eat so much fried food without seriously having to take some time off that stuff. Same thing at my park too during the summer we can't leave, but during the winter we can, although are usually offered all the leftover food from the summer.
  2. Its its one of the 3D programs most likely 3D Max which if you're wondering not cheap to buy for personal use unless you have like $5000 to spare, and has a high learning curve.
  3. Robb I love the pic of you "helping out with the construction" I can't believe that they would just leave that in there, sticking out of the ground like that. You should have turned it a bunch, its a water main shut off valve, and seen where water started comming up out of.
  4. When I'm not at school for computer graphics, I work at Deep River Waterpark in Crown Point, IN, as for what I do there, I don't think I can make a list becuase it would be way to long.
  5. I'm not so sure about the tax cuts...I thought I read the other day that the government was trying to tax them more due to these huge profits.
  6. So I guess this means Atari's going to be comming out with a few more expansion packs to cover the cost....But seriously though I hope he wins.
  7. ^ yea we have a Dyson as well, and it is totally worth the money, as it picks up everything, and never loses suction just like the commerical says. I would totally recommend it.
  8. Dysons are really great! But really try EBAY for coaster stuff their was a B&M OTSR not too long ago on there, but that's ended now. (Same one Wes posted the link too)
  9. Yea I can golf for free too, but only at courses that are owned by the government, because I work for them. And I get tired of playing the same place all the time so I go elsewhere.
  10. ^ Well I do both, so I'm losing it twice as fast
  11. Well I have conflicting feelings about this because I enjoy golfing, and its sad to hear about the closing of a golf course. But I guess its also good that they plan on using it for expansion.
  12. I don't know if I would trust the Amazon site too much, in the two years I;ve had it ordered, they always kept changing when it was gonna be published and it never happened. I'm beginning to think that its never going to come out.
  13. 6'4"...they measured me at SFGAM they thought I was too tall for Deja Vu
  14. I think B&M's they are engineeried better I think. They figure out the G-Force at about every cross tie, which is roughly every 4 feet on a B&M, so I think that is the reason they are so smooth.
  15. It's already been determined that SkyHawk isn't going on the WWL site. But I don't really think it is for a 2006 attraction, I think its prep for 2007. As for CP's claim as the biggest I believe its something like 3 feet bigger then the rest of them.
  16. I posted this is the other thread but I'll move it over to this one... $6 Million does seem like a lot for a ride like this, you think they would get a discount since the last S&S ride at Cedar Point fell down. I mean its not an upcharge attraction I think, due to its location so thats cool. But I think now the bigger question is what is going in at the WWL site, since this ride doesn't even touch that land. It has to be something big if they are already prepping the site by removing the old ride, so that should be interesting. I mean I guess its not a bad ride, its just sad that their removing 2 rides and replacing it with only one And trust me even selling cotten candy for $.25 their still making money on it, just not as much, parks upcharge so much for food its crazy. I'm talking about like 300-700% over cost. So their still making money.

  18. Well this item ended today, and someone was willing to pay $41.00 plus $60 to ship so $101.00. I actually expected it to go for a bit more, especially after seeing that thing Jay Leno does where he shows the stupidest crap that goes for tons.
  19. HAHA using it as a new form of seatbelt in a car would be extremenly funny. "Before starting the car, make sure the harness is completely down and locked in, my car is not responsible for lost items while riding, please make sure to secure all lose items, especially hats and glasses" Just imagine hearing that every time you went into your car.
  20. You guys know that the retail price that a park pays for one of those is over $1,000 to be exact. Thats a steal for $5.50
  21. B&M didn't want to build a sit down coaster over what was it like 300 feet tall, so I have no clue what makes everyone think that they would build a 500 foot tall flying coaster. I just can't see them doing it.
  22. I'm kinna excited about them building the rapids ride. They are really interesting rides, and you dont see them getting built a lot anymore, so this is kind of exciting. Maybe it will include some of those whirpool effects that Intamin offers as an option, I've never seen them in person but they look really cool from the pictures I've seen. I think that it would be a good ideaif some of the just stand-alone water parks would build these rides, as I think they would fit in nicely at a stand alone water park.
  23. Yea that was pretty bad, I thought the supports looked all wrong but then I looked at the recent construction photos, and they were actually right. The camera work on the POV was the downfall as it didn't seem to flow right. And overall the whole thing was a bit cartoonish, very RCT3 like.
  24. Dick Kinzel never said anything about topping Dragster or anything like that. I have no clue how that got started but he never said anything about topping it before he leaves next year.
  25. SFFT is one of my favorite Six Flags parks. Although it doesn't have a ton of coasters, then scenery there is just amazing to me, there something about being at the bottom of that quary that just makes for a really cool place to build a park. They need more waterfalls there though, as they look really cool comming all the way down from the top of the quary. The last time I was there was when Superman was new, its a good ride. It was so empty that day every thing was pretty much a walk on. And the Rattler wasn't too bad either, I just wish I could have ridden it before the shortened the first drop, I bet it would have made for a much better ride.
