  1. Wow I voted several times, and it's not even November 7th yet. Good Luck!
  2. Congratulations Robb + Elissa! I mentioned this pregnancy possibility a few weeks ago, when Robb bumped a 4 month old "Drywall" thread that highlighted "They're building a nursery" (I was told by Robb that I read to much into the post) Wow another Alvey is going to make a Grand Entrance into the World! With a couple of parents like Robb and Elissa, this baby is destine for a truely amazing life. Not to mention that this new "slightly smaller" version of Robb and Elissa will be fortunate to already have a Sister and Brother (Bethany + Dallas), waiting to show their new sibling the Alvey ways..... (Coasters, Video Games, World Travel, and of course tasty tasty Plain Pasta)
  3. Robb my post was a "Caption" of course. TPR wouldn't be the same without Barrys Captions.
  4. Wes calls out...."Hey Robb + Elissa, can you give us your opinion about Barry starting a new Caption Game every two to three days?"
  5. ^So then your reason for posting is to increase your post count??? Two of my favorite Holiday Movies would be Lethal Weapon and Gremlins.
  6. For me, the season came to a sudden stop when the A's got swept. (I would have liked to have seen the A's vs. Mets) The Cardinal vs. Detroit could be interesting, Detroit has had about a month off to rest up whereas the Cardinals will be going on zero rest. I wouldn't expect very high TV ratings for this series, unless it goes to six or more games. If I had to chose a winner today, I'd go with Detroit. They did manage to beat two teams who should (In my opinion) have beaten them, and they are on an impressive 7 game winning streak!
  7. Joe, you should submit a photo of yourself sitting in the same position, while holding a couple of pieces of paper. That way, we could get a better comparison of you and your new cartoon nemesis. Great find Golfie!
  8. The design requirements for our universe are like a chain of a 1000 links. If any link breaks, we do not have a less optimal universe-- we have a universe incapable of sustaining life. It takes a great deal more faith to believe in an "accidental" universe, than to believe in an intelligent creator, or God who crafted such a marvelous universe and beautiful place of habitation in planet Earth, and then created life (including human beings) to occupy it.
  9. Robb and Soren react to the camera when the song "Secret Lovers" by Atlantic Starr begins playing in the restaurant. "Secret Lovers, that's what we are, we shouldn't be together, but we can't let go.......... cause we love each other so" (And Elissa bends over laughing)
  10. It's a matter of Faith, some people choose to believe in a higher power, others don't. Can anyone prove or disprove that God exists? Of course not. If you choose to believe the Bible, it states "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6) Clearly, the majority of people believe in a higher power, that doesn't mean that you attend church every Sunday, it just means you have "Faith".
  11. Zero How many times have you seen a TPR ASSistant (or the Alveys) verbally berate someones post.
  12. The Battle was over, Dan received a Fatal Blow, His last vision of three Domineering Vixens.......Left him at peace.
  13. Few companies need to protect their brand image to the extremes that Disney does. These beloved characters are the soul of this company, and they are entrusted with the sacred responsibility of interacting with peoples children. (Touching/hugging etc...) For parents to allow that kind of interaction, there has to be an unspoken bond of trust between the parents and Disney. This video violates that trust, and throws into question the "type" of person Disney hires to be a cast member. These characters also represent a major cash cow for the Disney Corporation. They are not only used at the Theme Parks, but also at private functions like weddings. (The Alveys) So if someone who is offended by this video decides to cancel their Disney Wedding and instead hold it at the Ritz Carlton, then look at the financial impact that can have to Disney. The fee charged for the wedding, hotel rooms for the bride/groom + guests, meals/merchandise, Theme Park admissions etc... all gone. So something as seemingly innocuous as these characters messing around can actually snowball into a significant financial impact to Disney and their shareholders. This is why the employees have to sign these contracts, because their behavior can have a major impact on the company.
  14. Well you can only play so much Tic Tac Toe. (Plus I've finished watching the movie War Games) Bring on the 1979 classic Asteriods! Then I'll feel the need to watch "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" I think Asteroids was shown in the Mall Arcade scene, along with Tempest and Gorf.
  15. Once again Florida420's obscure quote kills the thread! His quote sounds like one from the movie iROBOT (though that movie wouldn't be considered a horror film) As for onewheeled999, Your quote is....Monty Python and the Holy Grail Keeping with Florida420's Horror theme.......Here's mine. "Earth? I rather stay here with the things, man." "Earth, man, what a sh*thole."
  16. Ryan reacts to the vile taste of Pepsi as though he just got a mouthful of Man Chowder.
  17. I wonder what Sigmund Freud would say about Ryans desire for Elissa to be his "Mom", as well as his "Women". (Remembering the famous, or is it infamous, home video he made)
  18. Hey Stephen Falken, (I mean Robb) after reading this topic I have the sudden urge to dust off and watch the 1983 movie "War Games". In a computer voice "Shall we play a game?"
  19. ^House Party 3! Well no wonder nobody guessed your last two quotes, who the hell would waste two hours of their life watching that garbage! (of that's right--you did!) What ever happened to Kid and Play anyhow? As for your new quote it's "A midsummer night's dream" Now my quote was done by the same actor in two different films. "Must go faster, must go faster"
  20. He's just another actor trying to reinvigorate his career with a little publicity. For those who need the term "Dirty Sanchez" defined, just logon to the www.urbandictionary.com
  21. Alright Derek passed out first! That means he gets to be the one to spend some time "in the Barrel".
  22. Disneylands Tom Sawyer Island, one of the attractions personally designed and guided by Walt Disney himself 50 years ago, might be destined for the wrecking ball. In its place will be a "Pirates of the Caribbean" themed area, which will contain an animatronic Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom, which will replace Becky Thatacher and Huck Finn. The estimate cost for the redue is currently $28,000,000 with the opening set to coincide with the release of the third "Pirates" movie. Here's a link www.miceage.com
  23. ^I've always thought that as a TPR ASSistant that you were Brutally efficient about following and enforcing TPR doctrine. (which is what any well run site needs) Whether someone is a 1st time poster or on their 500th post, you seem to treat them the same. I would be willing to bet that among you cohorts, that you've locked the most threads. (How many times has a "What's your favorite........?", thread been posted!)
  24. ^Wes, that was a fast response! I'm beginning to believe that you spend more time patrolling these boards then Robb or Elissa. No doubt in the future if the bombs do go off, the sinners will yell "Hail to Pimp-Daddy Wes and his Trollop of Bitches!"
  25. It's called the Bible folks! If this catastrophe occurs, rather than "banging your bitches", you better start repenting your sins! Otherwise, you'll risk joining those like Wes (whose soul is beyond redemption) down below in the Eternal Hell Fire! (Revelation 14:11; 19:3; 20:10)
