  7. Ha I remember seeing a video of this ride. Funny how it says that the robot is not for amusement yet all but one photos contain people riding it
  8. It's 17.5 euro for 1 hour, and 6.5 euro for ski-rental. The temperature is around -4, -5°C. Overall I had a great time but it's annoying having to ski around all these people. I'm definitely going back there but not on a Sunday anymore
  9. I went skiing today in the worlds largest indoor skicentre. It was very fun but also very crowded. 10min. wait for an indoor slope is to long

  14. Cool but I think this is in the wrong forum
  15. I just got my grades from the first semester of university and I totally passed I'm soo happy
  16. ^Yes it's between the first 2 towers (lift tower not included)
  17. ^Dude you haven't even been in the park before (I assume) so how could you judge the appearance of the ride in real life? You can't see the whole image on pictures. Also you can't compare this ride, which is to be the star of the park with Mulholland Madness, just as you can't compare California Adventure with Walibi. Walibi is a thrillpark, while California Adventure is more for the whole family (I think). Walibi needs it's coasters because that's were it's famous for in Belgium and why people come to WB. Their lines are always full (unlike those of the flat rides). And I'm happy with the concept of this ride, but just not quite with happy with the realization. When I first heard of the idea I was very happy. Finally a new coaster for Walibi! Worlds heighest suspended coaster, speed of 100km/u, it all sounded unreal. Too bad they couldn't realize the ride like it was ment to be in the beginning: the top speed went from 100 km/u to 60 km/u, the first drop went from 45° to 20° etc.
  18. Oh, stop whining. It's not the end of the world. Uhm have you seen this thing in real life??? The towers are planted in the Western and Italian area and they totally kill the atmosphere. Cables run over your head. The track and towers are just naked steel. This ride is everywhere and it ruins the skyline of Walibi. You're walking and suddenly there a huge footer in front of you. A capacity of 800 pph is just not enough for a park like Walibi Belgium. And that capacity will probably be never reached. Radio-communication between the cars will most likely give alot of problems. They are now already having alot of problems with that and it hasn't even opened yet. And 4 people cars, comon that's just pathetic. Just look at the low capacity of Wild Mouse coasters. A popular park like Walibi Belgium needs higher capacity rides than that. The ride itself will most likely be not great. Okay it's height will be a good thing but I've seen it testing and it just goes painfully slow. They are already modifying it because they have problems with vallying! And a first drop of 20°, boring slow helixes and probably no airtime at all are also not great In addition: this coaster takes up money and space were a decent coaster could be put. The place were Tornado once stood is the only place where a decent station could be built. Now that's occupied with Vertigo's station. And it's opening is delayed by one year. Talking about a good investement Not to mention the track has to be renewed every year! Vertigo is certainly not a long term investement. I really hoped this coaster would be great and I was really excited about it. But after seeing it working in real life and hearing all the bad news about it, that excitement is melted like snow to the sun. Too bad...
  19. Try to guess this one, it's not that hard I'm purple I have ALOT of brothers and sisters I live in Japan
  20. Okay so the track that was taken down is going back up, but modified. Doppelmayr changed the layout of Vertigo because there were some trouble with vallying. So therefore they built a new pylon! Pictures: http://gallery.atpic.com/10465 Ugh so Vertigo isn' going to be taken down as I hoped. In addition they even built an ugly, extra pylon
  21. I think I got it: Formule 1 @ Parc Saint Paul???
  22. Well at least they ask if Pepsi is okay. Here they just give you a Pepsi if you ordered a Coke (if they only have Pepsi that is) without even saying 'Sorry but we only got Pepsi' I hate that
