  1. MMMMMMMMMMMMMM a good old Belgian waffle!!! This is soooooo good
  2. I don't think this is in the right board... I tried a search machine called "google" (weird name, don't know if anyone heard of this before) and it worked just fine
  3. Hi Elissa could you change mine to Full Fledged Steel Dragon 2000 Enthusiast! EDIT: please remove the apostroph in the beginning!
  4. Wow this park is really ful of great coasters. Too bad it a 9 hours flight to there
  5. Well I booked my ticket to Madrid for Parque Warner, booked a hotel for Europapark and I'm gonna visit Walibi Belgium and Bobbejaanland for sure and probably Walibi World and Phantasialand.
  6. Well here's a new one. It shouldn't be to difficult...
  7. Is the track nearly complete? Keep us updated!
  8. Well that's great news!!! I've waited so long for this ride! Looks like Python won't be the number one coaster of the park anymore (IMO)
  9. Well i'd have to say I had some very very rough rides on Vampire (surprise, surprise a Vekoma SLC ) at WB. But I also had some very good runs on it. Strange....
  10. Well you should check Google maps. They have most of the themeparks of the world in birdseye. Example: Nagashima Spa Land (notice the beautifull shadow of sd2k) http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=35.029030,136.731656&spn=0.006481,0.005922&t=k&hl=en
  11. Well for me the most scariest ride has to be Dalton Terror at Walibi Belgium. The ride broke down when I was on and I was for about 5 minutes 78 m high in the sky waiting for the fall and I knew it was broken down... That was truely scary
  12. The scheduled opening is early july. But I sincerely hope it will be open when you're there. Have fun at Walibi Belgium!!!
  13. Well they are testing the vertical lift now. Here's a vid vertigo.wmv
  14. Well guys they are really trying to built this resort. The designers are waiting for a positive respone of the governement of Walloon to start construction. The governement will let their decision know by the end of May. The project designers have land to built on, talked with B&M and Intamin for a diving machine and rocket coaster and there are 4 big Belgian banks that want to finance there project. The direct cost will be 500-750 million euros. We'll see what happens... http://www.themeparkvision.be/NL/info/infocus/nieuwtjes2006/belgie/fer.asp
  15. Well here's the text in japanese. Anyone who can read this and confirm what babelfish already confirmed?
  16. Well it says in the translation that they are done testing the new trains. Why going trough all that trouble of getting new trains and testing them if you're not planned to use them?
  17. I found this article on Wikipedia Japan. Here's the link: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%8A%E3%82%AC%E3%82%B7%E3%83%9E%E3%82%B9%E3%83%91%E3%83%BC%E3%83%A9%E3%83%B3%E3%83%89#.E4.BA.8B.E6.95.85 Here's a wacky translation (thanks to babelfish!) "Accident steel dragon 2000 as in name that time when business is started, the highest terrestrial altitude and the maximum head, was the worldwide highest coaster which is registered to the Guinness book with the numerous section such as length and full speed from 2000, but (as for the production origin America), 44 of the coasters which are in the midst of travelling on 2003 September 30th is suitable to the inside half 88 of wheels fall, because passenger 1 name and 1 customers who are in the poolside under the coaster the accident which becomes the serious injury occurs, state of from now on business pause is continued. The case of routine inspection before the accident 1 month, it is seen as cause that the contractor has installed the part of the wheel to the unnecessary part. Aiming toward June business reopening from 2006 May, it is in the midst of permission applying in the national traffic ministry. Presently, the test which uses the new vehicle is done" So it looks that they're finally going to reopen SD2K after the accident in 2003! Let's hope they get permission to do so
  18. Well you should definetely go summer-skiing in Zermatt. It's very beautiful Also I would recommand Walibi Belgium, wich is close to Brussels. It has a very good woodie giant drop, enclosed schwarzkopf flywheel, dark ride, boomerang, SLC and (by then) Vertigo, the world's tallest suspended rollercoaster.
  19. I like the second hill, where the train speeds over and create good airtime That's why I like the layout of Voyage, Steel Force, Silver Star... and SD2K ocourse!!!
  20. Well sorry guys, I had to make an "annoying people" option in this poll. I completely forgot about that one
  21. Fairly simple I guess. What I hate most are closed attractions: you go all the way to a amusement park for that one coaster and then it's closed.
  22. Nice video. I want to go there as fast as possible! Thanks Chris! It's great to have someone reporting from the other side of the world.
  23. Well I like SLC's and they're compact right? Can't get enough of Vampire @ Walibi Belgium
  24. I really liked Hard Rock Hallelujah and I'm happy Lordi won. But I'm very sad our own Kate Ryan didn't made it to the final . That was very depressing 'cause she has a very good song
