  6. I feel this would be safer than just using seat belts. you definitely wont go flying out your windshield if you get into an accident.
  7. When this thread is probably your favorite thread throughout this forum. It speaks to me on so many levels
  8. When you hear Rocky Mountains, you instantly think about RMC instead of the mountain range.
  9. Never. I'm too broke to travel. When was the last time you visited a national park?
  10. Greasiest of the greasy funnel cake dowsed in mounds of powered sugar. You know the type of fried deliciousness that clogs your arteries.
  11. Your not alone. If it feels real, does it count as a cred? No I am not being serious I wish it did. I already got the credit, but I wish it can work like that with other rides I haven't had the chance to ride yet. Only if life worked like that would be great!
  12. Sometimes people choose to use Ad Hominems to attack another person instead of attacking their argument. If you have to resort to attacking one's family because you disagree with them, then it is very childish to do so. The guy seems to have some underline insecurity about himself and has to take it out on others to make him feel better about himself. I know I'm not an active poster on this site. I sometimes don't visit this site for a long time because life gets in the way. However, I've been following Robb and TPR for few years now and I must say that I have a profound respect for him and what he does. I have learned a lot about theme parks and roller coasters just from reading some of the forums on here. It's a shame that this kind of things happens to good people. I was really looking forward to going on a trip with them in the future, but I completely understand where Robb is coming from. I would get so stressed out if I had to deal with the same BS that he has to go through. I can't even imagine!
  13. When your dream about being on the Top Thrill Dragster felt so real and vivid. Then you wake up and intently become depressed because it was only a dream and you have to get ready for class. Yes I was sad for the rest of the day because of it.
  14. I have never thought about going to parks alone. I usually drag my non enthusiast boyfriend to parks every summer (he loves me for it). But I know he has his own schedule and funds so I don't think he would want to travel to every amusement park that I want to go to. Also I think I would enjoy being alone in parks to an extent. Being an introvert, I don't like being in big groups, but I also would start feeling lonely especially if I'm standing in line for hours without anyone to talk to. I guess you can say I like the social aspect that amusement parks brings to people. I really feel connected with my friends when I go. Even if all of them aren't enthusiasts.
  15. Goliath at SIx Flags Great America last Saturday. It was super busy the whole day since it was the first day of Fright Fest, so my boyfriend and I only got to go on 4 rides. I'm just glad we were able to go on this gem before the night was over.
  16. Hello my name is Vargonon. I've been following this forum and TPR for years, but I've decided to finally make an account so I can join in on the discussions. I've always been fascinated by roller coaster ever since I was a young person. However, I had a fear of them until I got older and realized just how fun they are. Now I enjoy learning more about coasters and meeting people that share the same interests as I do. I hope to travel around the US one day to visit different theme parks, but for now I'm a broke college student trying to get her degree in psychology.
