  1. There needs to be a "Friends of Wes" line for that email thing. Any chance of that happening by Sunday??? Final Magical Solution of Dreams ... LMFAO!!! Well, Jew is going to DLP, you know those French will have no problem stepping aside and letting Disney realize their final solution.
  2. I think I need to edit my review of TPR to make sure I include ... It's the Tits!!! That's so awesome.
  3. ^ Nice Post. Don't be such a lurker. We don't bite ... hard ... Gregg "Also celebrating our 10th Anniversary in December" C.
  4. Ah Wes, you ruined the fun. Your still my hero though ...
  5. We were thinking of going to WDW that weekend until somebody told us it was too busy ... of course now that somebody is going that weekend anyway ... Whut-evuh ...
  6. Only got a chance to watch 3 out of 5 of the new batch today, so I will withold judgement on the best one of the new batch until then ... I will say that the 4th dimension one was ... well ... odd, but in a good way. There was almost too much Knott's footage in the Solace one. Should it still be considered "Solace" weekend when there was more footage of dolphins than Knott's?
  7. ^ Wishful thinking < Thought I had bad hair ... lol ... V Has good hair, well at least compared to ^ and < ...
  8. I think I will like this much better than millionairre ... well, since I never really cared for millionairre ... Except for being a "Phone a complete stranger" ...
  9. Wes ... did I ever tell you your my hero?
  10. ^ Good Movie, I will share a couple: God help you, if you're wrong. If I'm wrong, then we're at war. God help us all. ----- I expect and demand your very best. Anything less, you should have joined the Air Force. _____ Hunt for Red October
  11. Over the weekend: Sideways: It was ... interesting. Good acting, I did think Paul Giamatti deserved a nomination for an Oscar. Thomas Haden Church was better IMO (I still can't believe it's the guy from Wings). The story was kinda slow, alot of useless information about wine. Another one of those movies that really didn't have a point to it. National Treasure: Just a fun adventure, historical action movie. Not re-inventing the wheel or anything, but if you just want to be entertained by a movie for a couple of hours, I suggest it highly. Just goes to show that not everything has to be high brow, black comedy, screwed up, no story line movie to be good, or considered good.
  12. Wes, you are the MF'n man. LMFAO at all of these comments.
  13. Hey, MeteorNotes, when are you gonna do a REAL McKenzie Brothers reunion?? See, that's better than getting email for a dead burger king, isn't it? My name...well, it all goes back to the late 80s when I was reading a collection of horror novellas that were based around movies (the collection was entitled Silver Scream). Somewhere in the editor's afterword, he called either John Skipp or Craig Spector (I can't recall which) the "cultural mulchpuppy of the bastard subculture." I stole the word that tickled my fancy the most. But AOL wouldn't let me be bastard, so I went with Mulchpuppy. The end.
  14. The original Carnival of Souls or the 98 remake? I think I love the idea of that movie more than the execution itself, even if it is nothing more than a retelling of "An Occurance at Owl Creek Bridge".
  15. Go to Ebay, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on security center. I doubt there's really anything Ebay can do, as these guys are usually pretty dang crafty, but at least you can pretend that the forces of good triumphed over the forces of asshat hackers.
  16. ^ Jackass, Jackass ... I have been to Disneyland at least 200 times in my 29 (almost 30) years. We will be there on Sunday. We are going to WDW in November. Can't wait!!
  17. Man, the server is crawling right now. It said half an hour to download one vid - I knew I should have set them all to download before I went to work.
  18. ^^^Actually, like I said, this one has already proven my logic wrong. But I'll definitely make an effort to look at the Expedition Geforce one as well.
  19. Yeah, we watched this last night too. I just thought it was funny that they used a Boomerang ...
  20. I was honestly trying to avoid commenting on any videos, since I'm still up in the air on whether or not mine's going to make the cut (etc, etc). But I just watched the 4th Dimension. Holy crap. I was wondering when someone was going to go for a true narrative video, as opposed to music videos. That's friggin' great stuff. Weird, twisted, and funny. My video bows down to the 4th Dimension overlords.
  21. Actually, I couldn't care less about Social Distortion (again, that album was like 15 years ago). I just thought I'd defend Elissa's choice of music. And good lord, how bad would that have been if she had tried to edit it to the original version...
  22. A. Lay off Social D. They've earned the right to cover whatever song they want to, just as Johnny Cash earned the right to do horrible covers himself (and lord, did he). By the way, that cover was done a long time ago, back when NOBODY CARED about Johnny Cash. Not slagging the man, just saying that 15 years back, there wasn't this reverence for the man in black that he obtained in the last years of his life. B. I would have never thought that a video with one single ride could have turned out that well. There were some really nice shots there, as well as some great following the trains. I'm not a big front row POV guy, so it was nice to see some back row footage tossed in there as well (for me, it just looks cooler to see the rest of the train twisting and turning). Excellent work there, Elissa.
  23. My wife is so cool. She decided she wanted to go to SFHH for Mothers Day. Luckily for us, not alot of other Mothers had the same idea. In fact, it was about as empty as I have ever seen it. We got rides on everything we wanted to, could have ridden everything as many times as we wanted to. It was that dead. We ended up doing every slide tower at least once, the family raft ride 3 times, Tornado twice and spent alot of time in the wave pool and lazy river. There were no issues with too many people in the water, no attitudes, just a fun day. I think the longest wait I had was about 3 people in front of me. Of course as we were leaving Kristi decided she needed to step on a bee. But, "bee"sides that no issues. This may become a Mothers Day tradition.
  24. I think between 40-50 Already got 8 at SFOG WDW = 5 USF/IOA = 5 Old Town = 2 BGT = 8 PGA = 8 SFMW = 9 Bonfante Gardens = 2 SCBB = 2 If we end up doing the Dells trip it will be more.
  25. here's how I do it, and it seems to be okay. First off, I razor cut the spots where I want the FIRST speed change to be (it's really important to do it one step at a time - once you razor cut it, the two "new" clips will run independently of one another - you can very easily create idiotic overlay issues where the end of the slowed down clip won't match the exact point where the NON-slowed down clip is). I then reduce the speed from that razor point on. Check it out, and the slowing down part should look gold. Razor cut the point where you want it to return to regular speed, and set that speed/duration accordingly. I believe (and I could be wrong) that Premiere automatically gradulates (is that a word?) the rate, so it isn't as choppy as it could be. The key is the do each speed transition one at a time. But like Robb said, sometimes you just can't make it look like you want it to. Nature of the beast. never really mess with the tools - I always forget which one does what, then it's back to the history box to delete my screw-ups. I'm strictly an arrow and razor cut guy (and since Robb has seen one of my videos, he probably agrees that using other tools would be a really good idea).
