  1. Doctors I decided are not that bad when they give you good news... Kristi "Unremarkable and physically very healthy!" C.
  2. Yeah, I think a lot of people didn't give it a chance, although to be fair, at launch it was buggy as hell. With the 2 patches since it is a much better game . Especially adding the Peep Thoughts in Patch #1 (How could they leave that OUT !) and all the coaster, staff and peep fixes (although people still don't like some or all of these ) With Soaked it improved even more, the lag lessened and you gained so many more options. I was really impressed with Soaked as an expansion !
  3. Hehe, well that wasn't intended to be the solution but hey if it works It definitely looks like a driver issue then, which is odd considering you rolled back. What card do you have ? NVIDIA or ATI ? You might like to try raising the acceleration slider bit by bit to see where it starts to go all stupid
  4. Lol, it would be cool if the animals could eat the peeps! I can't wait for Wild! to be released, not just for the animals, but for the new rides and scenery too.
  5. Ummm, seeing a piccie would help, I'm not really sure why updating your graphics card drivers would mess things up. The only things that have ever messed up video displays for me have been when installing or messing with codec packs. You've already tried the usual things, reinstalling WMP and using system restore. Some other ideas may pop up if we could see a picture As for PrintScreen not showing up the video, that's because video is shown on an overlay layer usually hardware accelerated so it's beyond Windows reach. To take a screenshot in WMP that shows the video try this: Open WMP, go to Tools|Options... Go to the Performance Tab Drag the Video Acceleration Slider all the way to None Click OK Then try the taking a pic using PrintScreen again. Remember to set the slider back to full after you've done taking pictures! Hope that works and we can help more !
  6. Thanks for the positive comments, Coasterdude5! For the Baby Dragster coaster, I used the Strata type. Yeah, I understand what you are saying now! I might still move the Giant Flume to a different location yet, and if I do, I will take what you have suggested into consideration Hopefully tonight, I will be adding more attractions to Bocakey Island, so any further comments will be appreciated whether good or bad
  7. I totally agree, it's one element that could potentially wreck the expansion, although I'll still end up getting it I think, even if just for the new coaster types and scenery hehe, no-one knows yet although I'd guess no, as peeps can't die even through drowning. It would be neat to have that, especially if it affected your park or rides popularity. As for the bugs on coasters... I don't know to be honest, I know with Soaked they seem to have accidentally crippled some ride pieces while fixing other bugs and things. But I don't really know much about real-life coasters so I can't compare from within the game. I know they fixed some friction issues with patch #2 pre-soaked, so I'd guess they probably fixed more for Soaked! (I love coasters in real life but don't really get the chance to see many, I'm nowhere near the level of recognising coaster manufacturer based on track like some of the people on here seem to be ) Speaking of coasters, the new coaster type that's in that shot, I get the impression it's of a real ride/prototype, does anyone have any real life pics of it ? It looks really cool !
  8. Anybody have that link to the PhotoShop tutorial thing that was posted awhile back? Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the comments Bicoastal Kid! Not sure what you mean about my giant flume though. The drop does go into the water. Do you mean it should maybe be facing the other way? I did try it a few different ways but I felt that it looked better the way it is now.
  10. True, but I guess it depends how it's implemented. If the animals escaping is like a disaster or something that occurs for failing to have a handyman or equivalent inspect the areas (much like coaster/ride breakdowns at the minute) then it MIGHT be okay. As it'd be a once or twice a game year event. If it's a regular thing then it could get annoying (admittedly it'd likely only be clicking on the animal) but I totally agree, it doesn't seem very RCT-like having "action" elements in there.
  11. I really love the Island, that has got so much potential. I've never really thought of doing that. Good work so far, your theming is pretty good too
  12. Well, I guess the fact it has animals in makes it a BIT like Zoo Tycoon, but the last time I looked Zoo Tycoon didn't have coasters in it Seriously though, if the expansion is anything like Soaked! there will be plenty of non-animal related additions too, like new coasters, scenery, flatrides, maybe even some tunnel and waterpark enhancements. The major difference is that it's not trying to be a Zoo/Safari sim, I doubt there will be much if any animal micromanagement (It'll probably have roughly the same amount of Micromanagement as Soaked added, with the water pollution). And ultimately you don't need to use the animals if you don't want to. To be honest a lot of theme parks today have some form of animal enclosures/features so I think that adding animals is a logical step, just as adding waterparks in Soaked was. I'll be disappointed if they put much micromanagement in, the zoo keeper for cleaning up poop is fine (much like the handyman already I imagine) but much more than that might be a problem for some people.
  13. I really like your mine train! It looks very cool! I look forward to seeing more of your park
  14. I am so sad to hear this ....Elissa you know we will be there if you need us while Robb is gone. Kristi "can't imagine visiting R&E and not seeing Rattums...the kids will be very sad to hear this as well" C.
  15. ^ Bed water fights are the best ... well, until you realize you are either sleeping in a wet bed, or changing the sheets at 2am.
  16. I'm thinking ERT on a new coaster at the RideWorld event next year would be schweet!!!
  17. It is exciting looking at places to move! Kristi "never thought I would leave CA!!" C.
  18. ^I am ready to leave!
  19. I will say that my Job is here, and I have to live here ... for now. But I'm telling you, as soon as I can get out, we are getting out. We were planning for 2 years, but it may only be less than a year out at this point. My company just merged with a company with alot of east coast / mid-west possibilities ... Indianapolis, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Atlanta, Maryland, Virginia, New Hampshire, and a few others. There are also a couple of places I wouldn't consider ... Maine, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, St. Louis. As soon as I find something in my company, doing what I'm doing now (because I actually like my job) we are gone.
  20. Thanks for the comments so far guys! I appreciate it! Anyway, I've now added a couple of new things, a Kart track and an entrance building called Bocakey Tower. Another shot of Bocakey Tower. This is Bocakey Tower. It is near the entrance to Bocakey Island.
  21. ^ If your going, can we come too!!! < Mmm ... Cupcakes V Think of something funny
  22. I'm having some other computer problems at the moment, but nothing like that.
  23. Wow, thought I had said this yesterday ... Congrats to all winners. Enjoyed watching all of your videos.
