  2. She probably had an underlying condition (faint heart or something) and the ride triggered something fatal. Either that or the T-res ate her.
  3. I am SO glad I arrived that late on the 4th. Which reminds me, I really need to start putting my own PTRs together
  4. ^I guess they just put some random pictures in there, as there's a superman in the mega-coaster page (on the intamin site) as well.
  5. There are no rules about the mega/giga thing. Intamin tends to call theirs giga's, while B&M calls them mega's. Basically, a mega or giga (or hyper) coaster is a high steel coasters will lots of hills and no inversions.
  6. Title Fairy, I would like my title to be: Defines the Way of Life Thank you
  7. Every now and then there is a coaster that I tend to finish. This one is one of those. After a lot of Katun/Montu/Alpie sized coasters, I decided to go small this time. My goal was to mix Black Mamba, Montu, Tomb Raider and Revenge of the Mummy into one coasters. For two weeks this vacation I've been working extensively on the track, terrain and scenery. There will be an enviroment, cartexture and supports. As I am leaving for the WestCoastTour in a few hours, I'd figure I'd show you how far I've gotten. I do not need testers, but critisism and suggestions based on the pictures is always welcome.
  8. ^What do you mean by Griffon and Sheikra models? I can't remember those statix cost $100
  9. ^Only if you don't forget to credit the original creator. But seriously. The best thing is to design your own elements. It is the only way to improve your skills in NL. The easiest is to recreate one. For example, that Raging Bull's. There a lot of pictures from that Hammerhead and once you get how it works, you can modifiy it to fit your coaster. Trust me, building elements yourself is the best way to improve your skills in NL. Using other people's elements will only improve your copy/paste skills.
  10. Ok. In anycase, still very cool. ^ and ^^ what the heck does that contribute to this? 1. I pointed out the model is great 2. I inform that the model is a costum CoasterDynamix model 3. Two points are badly shaped and could kill IRL I've seen plenty of posts contributing less
  11. Great model, perfect example of what you can do with CoasterDynamix. To bad the zero-G and corkscrew would kill people, just look at that horrible shaping.
  12. I have not seen the commerical, but from your description, I'd say Behemoth or Goliath. If you remember the colors, they might help. http://www.rcdb.com/m/ig4005.htm?picture=24 http://www.rcdb.com/m/ig3385.htm?picture=27
  13. ^Perhaps they can add 'powerups', if your train cheers the loudest, the trims on your track will be de-actived
  14. I didn't say they should build something that enthousiasts want, because that would be bad for business, indeed. The Efteling (and Disney for that matter) only appeal to people who like slow, nice and beautifull rides. If you have kids to the age of 12, that's nice. But if you want to have something for every age, you can't do with dark rides and small coasters.
  15. Wow, this is shocking! A coaster enthusiast who think a thrilling ride put into the middle of a very laid back, well themed family oriented park. Do you think all the Disney Magic Kingdom's need B&Ms and SkyScrapers to provide more thrills? Well, franky, yes. By adding thrills you can attract a great audience. The reason why I only go the efteling every few years is because it lacks thrills. I am bored by lunch. And I am positive that the Efteling and Disney can theme thrills. It doesn;t have to become Sixflags because you put in 1 B&M. Look at Phantasialands Black Mamba, that themeing is insane. And I wouldn't call the Efteling family oriented, it's more a kids and old folks park. How are you gonna interest 20-30 year olds with gardens, slow darkrides and 3,5 coasters?
  16. Form the concept art, this is going to be a dueling Senic Railway I'm happy the efteling is replacing Pegasus. However, instead of a dueling I would have love to see the efteling adding more thrill and go for something big this time.
  17. Wow, pool tables, Time crisis 4 and minigolf! If this place had a B&M it would be heaven. But I do wonder what kind of ride 'redemption' would be...
  18. ^It could be possible that only his feet or hand were hit, which would not result in a fatality.
  19. ^ and ^^, you can easily saw off the 1st and 10th seat, and you'll yourself an eight-seater Sheikra train.
  20. The only phone I have with me in the park and at the rides is from the interal network. My cell remains in my locker, that's the policy, you can check your texts in your break.
