G-force@drayton manor
Gutterflower replied to Cressie2's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I rode G-Force last year and thought it was just plain bad. However i rode Abismo last week and thought it was amazing (TR soon). The X-cars a good idea and can be pulled off well. but G-force is not a good example of this. -
Not sure if this has been posted but a quick search suggests no. Another screaming Squirrel has opened up at WOnder Island in Russia. A different design too. http://www.divo-ostrov.ru/rus/attractions/extreme_zone/forsage/forsage.htm Looks quite bizzare lol. Edit Heya as usual im doing more research as i go along http://ex-magazine.ru/news/publ/p1-61-divo.html A couple of small but very elightening pictures there. much different to the previdous version. also it appears they just got a screaming swing to go with it too. Edit 2 http://foto.rambler.ru/photos/m/o/mostopic/Divo/Forsage01/Forsage01.jpg http://foto.rambler.ru/photos/m/o/mostopic/Divo/Forsage02/Forsage02.jpg much better pictures of the SS http://foto.rambler.ru/photos/m/o/mostopic/Divo/Wing01/Wing01.jpg And the swing

Since someones done malaysia ill cover thailand If your in the Bangkok area at all, theres a few nice parks to visit. Dream World as mentioned above is a lovely little park and is quite easy to get to. well worth a visit. although they do seem to have a seperate entrance/cost for forigners... There are 2 coasters at Malls in bangkok which are easy to get to by taxi one is a rubbish zierer coaster and one (although shut while i was there) is a long twisting DPV build coaster. Theres is also a Meisho Shuttle loop to be found at Siam Park to the east of the city which is easily reached by bus. Theres also a small park in Pattaya on the coast which has 2 very interesting coasters and a zip line of a hotel. Although i havent been to this one. Anyway if you need any help or directions i think i can still remember my way around so just ask Also on another note. Gentlings flier wasnt the first in asia. Birdmen was. Although it did close down eventually. -

Tilt Coaster!?!?!

Im sure ive heard the words "Catastrophic Engine Failure" more times and you'll have to fly to get to taiwan . an interesting quirk in human nature. my girlfriend will always get in a car with my friends yet wont ride some rides because they look dangerous. "Familiarity breeds fimiliarity" or something like that... -

it does suprise me that they dont have fences with todays silly "Blame and Claim" society. But i have to agree with everyone else. there is no law for fences... you wouldnt run into the middle of a busy road. and they dont have fences. -

Still not much news on the flier. but i did just come across this. from that model it does indeed look like a S:UF clone. however check out that themeing and even if your thinking the models never turn out the way they look. OCT seem pretty damn good at themeing their parks -
Unique or just really rare?

I've been asking around on some japanese sites on their opinions and thoughts of the name. The 2nd one strikes me as a bit odd but fits with what a few people have said.
