Speaking of Oktoberfest, I did not see a report this year. Oktoberfest has not really had anything new and noteworthy on the midway in a few years, seems like there are no new ride ideas out there that companies are making for the fair circuit. Besides the usual pendulum and high swing rides.

For a German fair, it didnt look too impressive. Obviously one of the smaller ones.

Wow I did not realize there was another coaster blended in there with the Eurofighter. I just read it's a Intamin mini launch like a smaller Premier Sky Rocket. Not open yet obviously.

Here is a very brief video of after the accident, and you can see a piece of the wheel actually landed on a walkway. You can here a worker tell someone not to touch, or remove it because it is evidence in the accident. Wow, so that piece may have actually hit someone walking by. Crazy!

So they are looking for someone else to come in and operate it. Interesting. Let's see if that happens.

Curious too see if the park re opens the ride again or sells it off to somewhere else.

The plan was to have one of these giant Evolutions at a new small park in Rotterdam along with a old Schwarzkopf shuttle loop, but the plans fell thru, so I believe that is the one Evolution in storage.
