  1. QFT. I live 15 minutes away and only go once or twice a year because how expensive it is. This is the main reason I don't go, hate driving to Brooklyn and I find it is too expensive for what it is, I'd rather just go to great adventure. I'll get on the cyclone eventually. I need to pay more attention to the group on deals.
  2. Sounds interesting, I'd love to know how personalized it actually ends up being.
  3. Great points, as much as I'd love another coaster at great adventure I'm very happy to have justice league coming in and I would been even more thrilled if they added some new shows and put some money into making them really good. I have a lot of friends and family who are just not into coasters but I'd love to take them to the park and see some good shows, go on rides like justice league, hit up the safari and call it a great day.
  4. Ugh pc nonsense strikes again. So stupid.
  5. I've only been on VR at six flags over Texas and thought it was meh because the graphics look so dated. I haven't been on skull mountain yet with VR but it looks like the same experience except it's gargoyles instead of aliens. Im going to SeaWorld next year but I'll be there before this starts. I'm more curious on what the real numbers are when it comes to people who actually decide to go to a park just because or partly because VR was put on a ride.
  6. I also prefer nitro in the back if I'm not in the front row. That being said I haven't found a row that I haven't liked, I usually just get in whatever row has the shortest wait. Also even though I like sitting in the back more I've been sitting towards the front a lot more lately on most rides simply to have less people in front of me in case an idiot takes their phone out. That's been my biggest and only real complaint about this year.
  7. Rage of the gargoyles starts today on Skull Mountain. If anyone goes on it today let us know how it was.
  8. Thanks for all the info, I would still like to go at some point but I've been watching videos from this year and definitely see what everyone means about how crowded it is and the conga lines.
  9. I don't know if this would even be possible but I'd love to see them close this and monsters laugh factory and put in that tron coaster
  10. I guess...if youre into chubby chicks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This year didn't quite do it for me. Little cohesion. Houses all good but not *great*. In my opinion, 24 was the best of all the "new era of darkness" years with Halloween being one of the greatest houses of all time. Still, nothing holds a candle to everything pre-2010. What was so different pre 2010?
  11. For the skeleton key rooms, you have to pay to participate in it. They are separate rooms from the haunt. Only few has them. If you don't get it, you can still do the haunts it just won't have any skeleton key rooms in it. Thanks but I meant do you have to participate if you go in the rooms or can you just watch? Just don't want to waste the money as some of them are a bit extreme and some of my friends would definitely not do them, I'm even on the fence about a few I read lol I'm not sure if it differs from park to park or not, but at KI once you go into the room with the skeleton key you are participating whether you like it or not. There job is to try to scare you, and going in that room means you paid extra money to be scared, they are going to try and give you your money's worth. Both visiting houses and working in the houses, I have never seen anyone older given a "free" pass because they are scared, especially girls. The only way they are letting up is if your a kid or your wearing one of the "don't scare me" necklaces....but please if you wear this, don't go in the haunted house, just stay out and let the others enjoy it. Thank you, yeah that's why I was asking before I purchased anything, just going to skip the skeleton key rooms and do the regular mazes instead.

  13. Even J.J. Abrams wouldn't be able to save this guy
  14. Anyone do the mansion dinner? Is it worth it? I'm trying to get a group of friends to do it since the price is pretty good and I've seen a lot of good reviews. My other question is I've read a little bit about the skeleton key rooms and do you have to participate or can you just say no and watch? My gf would probably never talk to me again if there wasn't an option lol
  15. Lmao his face is amazing. Hopefully he didn't have too many nightmares lol
  16. They handed out 1 free trail pass yesterday so if they did that again today and you want to take a little break from riding you should check out big top terror 3d if there is no line, which there wasn't yesterday. It's only like 5 minutes to walk through and I thought it was fun.
  17. That's not the norm, they almost always run 2 trains.
  18. You still have time to go and honestly you should. If I had Crossbow 30 minutes from me I'd ride it quite a bit. It's not amazing but it's a fun ride. I might try to get over there before it closes, anything else worth going on?
  19. Apparently this place is 30 minutes from me and I've never even heard of it.
  20. my bad, the overlook says it's between the amphitheater and great bear and Hershey Park place is right near the entrance across from the season pass office
  21. I'm not that familiar with the park either cause I only went one weekend but I still have the Hershey Park app on my phone and I just checked it, it shows you exactly where the places are, the app is really good with the wait times when I was there as well.
  22. I bought the 45 buck express pass even though I plan on going more on Fridays/Sundays but I figured it well be worth it. I don't mind spending the money cause I already think the park is such a good value as it is.
  23. Wow I can't imagine waiting that long. I'll be going during the busy fright fest season but I'm just going for the trails. I've been on the rides enough this season that I have no patience for long lines for them. I haven't done a fast pass at any park yet but I agree, if I was traveling a long way I would definitely get one. Whenever I get to magic mountain I plan on doing the platinum pass for one day and a gold for the next day. It's also easy money for the park. I wish they would raise season pass prices and generate more revenue to put back into the park though.
  24. I'll believe it when I see it as well. I remember when they started construction on this disaster over 10 years ago now cause it removed where I use to park at Devils games, the Devils got an arena built in that time frame and next year will be the 10th year of that building already lol
  25. If I didn't hate waiting in long lines I would try that challenge just to see how far into it we could get lol
