What's your closest coaster?
Satans Hockey replied to FishyFish's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Miles wise coney island but as others have said the traffic can be miserable trying to get there so great adventure is the quickest I can get to even though it's further miles wise, about 35 mins if I'm driving fast. -
Which coasters are the "most fun" to ride?
Satans Hockey replied to A.J.'s topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Nitro and Wicked Cyclone are on the list for me. I could ride both of those all day long and never get tired of it. -
I was suprised at how many elements this one doesn't have compared to the great adventure one. It was missing so many things that make the ride great to begin with. I'm not sure which one was made first. The audio was also way to low. I thought the concept was awesome actually. But it felt more of a cheesy carnival ride than in a Six Flags park. If they made some upgrades to the audio and the whole story part of it I think this would be a must do ride. Have you been on the one at great adventure? That one has so many more elements then new England. That's why I'm curious if they added things to the great adventure one. I need to look into the history of it a bit more cause I love the great adventure one.

I actually liked mind eraser, it didn't feel rough at all to me from the front row. I think pandemonium is great too but the wait for it just didn't justify it for me. I would only go if the lines are short from now on. Wicked cyclone had the same issues with the photos over the weekend too. I'm just glad I was able to get some pictures from it.

Thanks for making more, I just ordered the first Disney world magic Kingdom photo. Supports a great cause and makes a great gift. Hope you get better soon Jack! -
Barely any lines today so far. I got on superman 3x (1x front row) and did thunderbolt all in the first hour of being open. Wicked cyclone is definitely my favorite ride in the park. After being on superman for the first time this weekend I really don't understand why they are doing virtual reality to that ride. I've been on the virtual reality ride in six flags over Texas and didn't think it was anything special. The headsets are going to kill the load times for the trains and the graphics themselves look like a playstation 1 game. The ride is so much fun as it is I can't imagine wanting to look at a cell phone screen with the giant headsets for the entire ride. I'm really curious to see the reviews from everyone here when it starts. Wicked cyclone is so much fun that I may come back one day just to ride that and maybe go on superman 1x with the vr just to see the superman version since I've already seen the fighter jet one.

Definitely try to do things as early and quickly as possible. The operations are bad. But last summer I went on a rainy afternoon where crowds were light, and I was able to do all the major rides and more in about 3 hours. I don't think the park is really worth 2 days. The other parks in the area aren't open yet, but there are a few mountain/alpine coasters in the area, and those things are awesome! So if you do everything at SFNE and you have some time left over, I would suggest checking out those, too. http://rcdb.com/r.htm?na=&nm=na&pl=9766&cs=279&ot=2 Thanks I'll have to check those out and see how far they are. Main reason I'm doing two days is cause of the gold pass plus I'd like to go on some of the rides multiple times without having to drive back up here another day. Drive wasn't too bad though, took about 3 hours cause there was some construction in some spots. I'm in line and waiting for it to open already. Wicked cyclone looks like so much fun.

I was just there at the beginning of the month and used uber to get to the park. Depending on how busy they are it was around 30 bucks from what I remember. There was no easy or quick public transportation to the park from what I saw. Going around Dallas though I thought the dart system was fantastic and I even took it to the airport.

What?!!? Is this really a thing? Where do I sign up? - Jason Go to (search) the wild one 99th celebration page on FB. There are 12 signed up right now. I searched and can't seem to find it, I think I would totally drive down there to try doing this. Seems like so much fun. Could you provide a direct link?
