  1. As always, love your reviews. While I do love many of those 90’s remakes - I totally agree with what you are saying as well! I don’t like the new songs in the live action stuff. (Only exception would be that one song they had Jasmine do). I can’t wait to see this!
  2. Some people just love to complain. Sheesh. Having said that - while I would have loved for an X2 type ride, or a wing rider (Cuz who knows when I will make it to ride one somewhere else), this will be a great ride to add to the park. It is completely different than anything we have already. The majority of people will love it, and hopefully it will eat some of the line to allow me to go on other rides during busy seasons. I will want to ride this.. but I am actually a bit scared. Has anyone been on both Green Lantern in SFMM and Batman in Tx to compare the two? I was diagnosed with severe whiplash that lasted over a year after riding green lantern. I was pulled from my seat, arms and legs and head around one of the last turns. Thank goodness for restraings! So my thing is, will this be a repeat of Green Lantern? Hoping to hear some comparisons. P.S. Scream Machine removed *for the WIN*
  3. Oh man... photos are not popping up. I love to revisit this as I prepare for my next ship. OK, so the next three are Disney Dream, RCCL Enchantment of the Seas and RCCL Allure of the Seas - but I need a cruise laugh right now. WAHHH!
  4. Some good ole Disney fun: http://hollywoodlife.com/2015/04/01/cinderella-castle-changed-to-elsas-ice-palace-walt-disney-world/
  5. Totally love Gigas... Cannot wait! I had been putting off the Charlotte trip for some time now. I can finally hit the park and make my debut. In all seriousness, the GP definitely won't care. They will all want to ride both Intimidator AND Fury325. I know I do! That is my favorite type of ride. I will love following this one!
  6. I got mine a few days ago. Came in an Amazon package. At first, I was like, wait - I didn't order this! Then it sank in. SO, next time I travel far, and I do travel all the time, via car especially - I will be able to finally sleep comfortably. I have this crazy jump up for every noise thing when we drive... so this should do the trick! Thanks Tim K! *edited to avoid double posting* I am so super stoked that my research did not fail me!
  7. Mine is also Blackbeards Mine Train at Six Flags Great Adventure! It is just a horrid ride that we have a great time on as a family. The first time we all went - my sister's bf at the time was twirling his finger around making a wooo wooo wooo sound. Then he hit his finger into one of the markers/antennae - and was like "OUCH!!!!". It sadly became so funny we cannot control the laughter. It was a had to be there kind of thing, but yeah - guilty pleasure.
  8. I am waiting on the mailman to bring me the rest of the gift I am to be sending out!! (I got my name late! ) Tracking said tomorrow - so I shall be planning on sending it out! (I am not flaking! LOL) I have not gotten mine yet either...so I am hoping somehow I did not get lost in the bunch being I got my name late? Yikes!
  9. Ok, after some thought, I am in! I like lots of stuff, so it should not be too difficult.
  10. I had the pleasure (believe it or not) of being on Carnival Breeze three weeks ago. I have to say, I was thoroughly shocked. You all scared me so much with the Klassy voyage, that I was beyond terrified. (Family planned the trip, and didn't get any input from others) I really did go into it expecting Komplete Krap though. So it surpassed my standard for the line. LOL But with all seriousness - my cabin crew was awesome, my waiter awesome, and the bar chick over in the casino - awesome. (She hooked up the Mai tai for me, and with one sip my face was numb) I am sure b/c the ship is brand new, they are really keeping up with it. They were installing new carpets on the stairs through a few of the days. Dinner was served very timely, and it was tasty. Embarkation, and debarkation were a breeze. Buffets were always full. (Just please, get rid of the scrambled eggs!!) Photo crew really need to learn how to focus, and some of the staff my husband found rude right from the get go. For what I paid, it was a good time with great family. You won't catch me on an older ship though... (Love the multiple photo uploader!!!!!!) Room was clean Bye-bye Miami Atrium... I wanted to be creative with the photos of this, but I gave up. LOL Sunrise in Jamaica My voyage was one of the lucky A-Ok ones! And in Nassau, I got to witness Dream turning around to dock. (First time I experienced it, I was on the Dream!) You think they would let us on the boat for the day?
  11. I saw this thread, and instantaneously thought... Steven is NOT allowed to enter. LOL Open it up and he was a winner already! I totally wish I could get a coaster shot worthy of a contest. Too bad my photo of Disney's Dream wouldn't count! (I just really like this photo!!)
  12. Ten minutes from me, and I never had any idea this was inside Flushing Meadow Park. LOL
  13. AS USUAL: LOVE IT! I cannot get there for another year at least. Seriously. Tease.
  14. Hola Big Mike! Being so caught up with things myself the last few months - I haven't been on here in AGES!! (Oh man, it just reminds me on how far behind I am in posting my PTRs, including the awesome behind the scenes tour of NITRO!) On top of the stuff you see on FB, I have been also busy planning trips and stuff!! So - that left me wondering where you are going to be this year. I have not found the new schedule! We have Orlando again this year from 6/28/13 through 7/6/13 and Carnival (cough, cough) Breeze from Miami 10/6/13 through 10/12/13. I just say that we should make this Caribbean trip a TPR trip... Anyone want to join in the fun (misery)? Seriously though - the only thing that made me agree to that one was the fact that I am going with awesome people. They booked before I could protest. Haha! I'd be more than happy to introduce them to uber cool people from here that want to come with! Before years end, I was hoping to arrange a trip to SFNE as well. Who is down? Peace!
  15. OMG, I know! My first and only cruise to compare this to is the Disney Dream. I have been reading reviews for the new Carnival Breeze, because I have been "forced" to book for a family trip next October. (If they only knew!) Knowing what I know, then seeing the bad reviews here, truly scares me. I am hoping that after all is said and done, that the new ship, the new style and the family will keep me going!
  16. Dave - I think it is fair to say that the Fantasy Kraps all over the Klassy Kruise!
  17. "Oh my God!" (How many times was that said in the video?? lol) That is crazy! Thankfully it just resulted in a dent.
  18. I used cash only at Alamo once before I had cards - you need to leave something like a $200 or $250 deposit, and need proof of your job or something odd...I cannot remember what it was - call them and ask about it though! You can use your bank debit/check card, or get one of those VISA prepays. Alamo seems to always be the most reasonable when I go, so I stick with them. They always have sales as well. Oh my - I am going to be booking for Carnival Breeze for next Oct. It is a family trip, that we are suckered into. After my first cruise being Disney Dream... I hope the good company far outweighs the negative. Maybe b/c it is a new ship, there is hope? (Probably not!) If it were up to me, I would be cruising on Disney again!
  19. The entire system is pretty easy. I will eventually report back. I took the paper with me regarding the prices for the photos, and will scan it for others to see so they are prepared - because it can be a pretty penny if you have kids. Also, that stupid red pillow. (OK, not so stupid...) I WANT ONE! LOL. $189 though... so not this trip. Already planning to get family to go in 2014! I would go next year, but we are being swayed into a family cruise in the new Carnival Breeze. I am hoping that the company far outweighs the "krappiness".
  20. Thanks Jen! Not sure why I didn't check your PTR out. You definitely do describe your trips well! I will PM you! I have another question or two. Thanks!
  21. I came back to visit your awesome PTR because I leave on Wednesday! YAY! I am curious about the photos. How much were they at Shutters? I am a photo hound... and it will just be me and the hubby. I am sure I will want some of the ones they take on the ship. (Looks like they take a lot!) how does that credit system work? This is not only my first time on Dream, but first cruise over all. Thanks!!
  22. For me, Maverick did not seem painful - but that was coming straight from Fahrenheit about a month prior with the same restraints - which I actually like. I-305 was pain free - but the twisties may get you a little. I find it hard to hold my head during that portion. Love the soft restraints. And yes, I did grey out - but I have not ridden it since the change, and I am not sure how that has affected that portion of the ride.
  23. NITRO!! Of course, had to get one last ride before I left for the day! Spice up the photo a little. Instead of a coaster pic, how about a closer look? Backstage that day during the Nitro/Batman tour!
