  1. ^Hint 1: you got the name and manufacturer right, but it's not the one I'm thinking of. Hint 2: The one I'm talking about has a different, more infamous layout than the Parc Saint Wild Train.
  2. Next one: -It's a kiddie-sized coaster known for its surprising airtime -Made by a lesser-known manufacturer -Good coaster if you like choo-choo trains

  4. Get Your Ass to Mars The Uglies From "Keeping Up with the Uglies," one of the best albums of 2017.
  5. 1. El Toro 2. Phoenix 3. Boulder Dash 4. Phantom's Revenge 5. Mystic Timbers (new) 6. Thunderbolt 7. Twister 8. Nitro 9. Wooden Warrior 10. Great White Banshee (new) could have easily been 10 as well, and Nitro and WW are almost equally good. Including only new-to-me coasters it goes (from best to 10th best): Mystic Timbers, Banshee, Bat, Beast, Diamondback, Yankee Cannonball, Hydrus, Phobia Phear Coaster, Gale Force, Firehawk.
  6. Great! Did they confirm the giant pile of coke? If they're going to do it right, that pile of coke has got to be massive. Unfortunately they said they wanted the theming to be more kid-friendly, but I'm still optimistic about the coke pile since they could easily include it in the ride and tell everyone it's just white sand.
  7. ^^They just announced it at SFGAd during Winter Adventure. I thought the Great Nor'Easter was pretty awesome this year. There's a few jerky spots, but they're not too bad because it has vest-type restraints. They're also apparently doing some more track work this off-season as well. And Sea Serpent is one of the smoothest boomerangs I've ridden.
  8. I'm at the park now for ACE Winter Adventure. They finished the presentations at around 1 as they were originally scheduled, so we're getting impromptu Justice League ERT!
  9. Omae Ga Dai - Kirai Da Bloodthirsty Butchers Such an amazing band for people who want to listen to some great early post-hardcore/emo.
  10. I have to give the edge to the Blue Album. Victim's Family or NoMeansNo?
  11. I saw Judge and Cro-Mags last Saturday at First Unitarian Church. There were four other bands, and they were All Out War, Breakaway, Trail of Lies, and Candy. I showed up a little late because I didn't really care for some of the opening bands. So I only saw Candy perform one song, but it was pretty good. Trail of Lies was alright and Breakaway was decent. All Out War was great. Judge was even better than I expected and it's great that they're still killing it even though they're old now. Cro-Mags were also great even though their current lineup isn't the best. Something strange that I didn't really think about until Cro-Mags were playing was that John's voice nowadays reminds me of Rob Wright (and that's not a bad thing). I can't be the only one who hears this. The crowd was also awesome for Judge and Cro-Mags, a real mosh pit and not the horseshoe crowd shit you get at smaller hardcore shows. I also love the venue, it's pretty cool to see a great show in a church basement, and they get much more popular acts apparently like Jeff Rosenstock. Also shout-out to Joe for 20 years of promoting hardcore shows! Here's the Hate5Six videos (excellent channel/website for hardcore punk vidoes by the way) for and .
  12. I Ain't Thick, It's Just a Trick Crass Such an amazing song! i aint thicc its just a tricc
  13. This season I rode Banshee, and for me it ranks right in the middle of the B&M inverts I've been on. It's very different than the others I've been on because it's so huge, yet graceful. And while the second half is definitely forceful, you never really get the whipping sensation that the old school B&M inverts have, even compared to less intense inverts like Great Bear and Talon. It felt more like riding a wing coaster on steroids than a coaster like Raptor. New rankings: 1. Alpengeist 2. Afterburn 3. Raptor 4. Banshee 5. Great Bear 6. Talon 7. Batman: The Ride All of these coasters are in my top 20 steel coasters except for Batman, which would at least be in my top 40, maybe even top 30, if I tried to rank that many.
