To help out with the shade issues how about adding some covers over the que lines like Power Tower has?

There's also another spot they could move looping star ship. Move it over to were the old tilt a whirl use to sit over by Wild Thing. Fill in some open areas.

I always have been thinking that the looping star ship area would be the next area for the soak city water park expansion and there's plenty of space there for another slide tower or maybe a tornado bowl tube slides and remove the volleyball courts. Would the looping star ship re locate somewhere else or would that be replaced for a new thrill ride?

I like hades 360 along with Cyclops and Zeus question is how safe is the park? And how well do they inspect there rides?

I normally stop by the park each day before I go to work and a few hours on the weekends. Anyone know what mechanical issues Wild Thing is having? Each day I have been there it seems to go down for mechanical issues then goes back up again. I was in line around 1:00 pm this afternoon it went down again for twenty minutes. When I was in the station somethings I notice when one of the trains was coming back hitting the first set of brakes it came to a sudden stop even with people on is that normal? Seems like Wild Thing has been having mechanical brake downs this season more then I have seen then normal.

Stopped by the park this morning did a few rides be there on Saturday. I spoke with one of the managers about the metal detectors. He told me this is going to be on random days and it's also at other Cedar Fair parks as well at Cedar Point. He mention that this might be a perminate installation in the next few years. Anyone think we need metal dectors?

I stopped by the park today on the way to work for a few hours. Did a few rides on Flying Eagles walk on. Park wasn't to busy. Just wondering. I meet up with Mike at Renegade rode for a few times. When the line normally gets past the tunnel how come they don't run two trains on a regular basis? Once the line gets past the tunnel it's about a half hour wait with one train. On the way out I stopped on Wild Thing running two trains walk on. Just wondering about Renegade.

I just arrived at Valleyfair. It's moderate rain right now. Just waiting for the highway gates to open. . New season waiting for a expansion annoucement for some new rides water park annoucement maybe for next year. I see security driving around in the main lot wonder if they'll let me in yet lol.

It's opening day finally here.

Since the new amphitheater is open now. What are the chances of the Galaxy Theater becoming a new dark ride building? When will Cedar Fair began installing the new dark rides? Hows Renegade running? Was there any re tracking done during the off season? I remember on the last day going by the fly by station and the final turn around coming toward's the brake run it felt like it was really rough if they fix that?

I was at preview day. The weather couldn't have been perfect. 75 degrees clear. I rode Flying Eagles fun ride about a half hour wait. I also did a few laps on Wild Thing. Was there any work done on Wild Thing? It felt really smooth. I also rode Power Tower few times no waits. Renegade had a long line only one train running will do that on opening day along with everything else. The park looked really great.

It's finally here. Season Pass Preview day . Opening day just a few days away.

How do you snap? Some parks allow it? Is it hard to do?

I was also thinking of stopping by Williams Grove. Are there easy ways to get in without tress passing? Are you tress passing if you want to see the park I'm only planning to walk through the park take some photos of the Cyclone then leave not planning to be more then a hour or so.

I can't wait to visit both Cedar Point and Knoebels in July. When I'm doing my Cedar Point trip for two weeks in July I'm also planning to visit: Knoebels, Dutchwonderland Amusement Park, Kennywood, Hershey, Dorney, LAKEMONT, Waldameer Park, Conneaut Lake Park, Kings Island and Kentucky Kingdom during my two weeks off. I'm coming from Minneapolis I haven't decided wether I'm going to fly out to Cleveland then drive to Sandusky or just drive out. I have a platinum pass. I'm doing Cedar Point and Kings Island in one week second week I'm doing the Pennsalvania trip. I'm really looking foward to Knoebels.

I would also have to say my favorite water ride at Soak City is Raging Rapids I went on that so many times last summer it's a fun attraction. I hope this summer will be hot humid make a few visits to the water park this year.

This is a couple of ideas I thought of. Is it possible for Wild Thing to replace the old trains and add new B&M hyper trains like Diamondback and Steel Dragon 2000 has? It worked on Steel Dragon 2000 and how much do B&M hyper trains cost? Also how about tearing down The Wave and replace it with a log floom? I think log flooms are more popular water rides. What you could to is move the Corkscrew exit and enterance to the right face it towards Power Tower and take out the fences from the Corkscrew exit and enterance and use that space for the log floom have a tunnel and two drops there's plenty of space there for one. Just trying to be creative.

I use to work at Valleyfair for ten years. Every time I was at the employee ride night the trims were always on. I use to work at Valleyfair from 1996 to 2007.

Are the mid course brake runs by the amphitheater going to be to loud you can here them through the out the park. If there going to make it a permanent venue running concerts or shows there. If Wild Thing is going to run only two trains why not just turn off the mid course brake run and do some test runs see how that would work? I'm sure a lot of enthusiasts would love to have the brake run turn off?
