My home park is Valleyfair I hit 1,000 rides on Renegade in summer of 2016 season and to this date I still ride it 10 to 15 times a day because it's one of the best GCI wooden coasters I have been on.

Would anyone happen to know who performs the opening of Cedar Points national anthem?

I rode North Star this morning I'm also kind of surprised that there isn't a sign anywhere.

What are the high wind speeds before they have to shut star flyers down?

I thought I would never get a chance to roll back but I was in line at Top Thrill Dragster around 5:00 pm did the launch half way up the train stalled out and I got a chance to roll back on Top Thrill Dragster felt kind of freaky actually because I never rolled back before some people were freaking out on the train but it took a while to get back in the station then the ride was closed rest of the evening and I got to experience the park when heavy storms move in around 8:00 pm I was in line for Millennium Force went down for lightning for ten minutes stopped raining open for a while the line was 1/2 hour wait but every one left then I headed to Valravan did a night ride was walk on and last ride it tonight was Raptor once I got to the station it started to poor and lightning they closed the ride down. I noticed there was lightning across the bay but they still kept the rides open for a period of time eventually they closed at park closing sever weather. Do they operate rides when there's lightning across the bay how close does lightning have to be to shut rides down? So far my first two days have been warm during the day and storms in the evening is it normally like this? Thursday suppose to be 90 storms in the evening.

I just arrived at Cedar Point and I'm staying at Hotel Breakers for the first time I really like the room and the bed is confertable and comes with six pillows I'll be here till Friday. I have a couple of questions about the crowds at the park. When I got here strong storms just arrived hopefully when they clear. Will the park die out some does that ever happen? Just arrived at Hotel Breakers from Minnesota 15 hour drive

There are two new orange flags just to the right were the enterprise sits down in the employee parking lot it's visible from the top of Renegade lift hill.

I would like to see a size like Max Air or Black Widow like at Kennywood that would fit perfectly and the ideal spot would be in Rip Tids location right next to Xtreme Swing and Power Tower. If Excalibur were to close I wouldn't mind seeing a huge frisbee to replace Excalibur. I would be happy if all we got was a frisbee for 2018 and I think it would be a crowd favorite.

I stopped by the park this morning for a few hours. I noticed when I rode Renegade you can see it from the top of the lift hill there are two new orange flags just to the right were the enterprise is sitting down in the employee parking lot. Can anyone else confirm this? Any photos? Those flags weren't there last night when I was on Renegade with Mike. Orange flags are survey markers?I'm going to Cedar Point staying at Hotel Breakers for a week this Sunday and Kings Island so I won't be at the park for 2 week's.

I think that photo might be a teaser I'm stopping by the park for a few hours I really think your going to see a water park expansion Excalibur closing maybe that will be replaced by a giant frisbee included with the water park expansion. I did speak with the GM last week mentioned about adding a frisbee he told me that they are working on something for 2018.

From a business point if you were Valleyfair what would you rather spend $20 million on a new B&M coaster or expand the water park? I personally wouldn't mind Flight Deck coming from Canada's Wonderland there are also rumors that the dueling dragons from Islands of Adventure might be removed for a Harry Potter expansion so what if they went up for sale and Cedar Fair were to buy both of them and send one to Valleyfair in the Dino area would that make any sense? It would be a lot cheaper for Valleyfair to get a used B&M then a new one just pay for shipping. I know everyone wants a new roller coaster but from a business point water parks draw more people in and I think you'll see Excalibur retire possibly this season to get the back of the park going. Removal of Excalibur I think it would be replaced with a giant frisbee.

I'd like them to keep Raging Rapids if they wanted to take out Hurricane Falls replace that wilth a new slide tower something like a snake pit that Dorney Park has they can build on top of Raging Rapids.

Would we see some sort of announcement for the project?

I'm going to Cedar Point next week June 18th through June 23rd. I also spent $840.00 for Hotel Breaker's. But it's a 5 star hotel wanted to stay some were nice for a week off it's right on the resort. I've always wanted to stay at Hotel Breaker's now I'm finally going taking my 2 week vacation at Cedar Point and Kings Island. Also why doesn't Kings Island have a on site resort hotel to stay at?

The weather is supposed to be near 95 to 100 degrees this weekend and humid. I'm curious to see how many people will be at Soak City this weekend. I have a feeling it will be at capacity this weekend and during the week next week with temperatures staying in the low to upper 90's till Tuesday.This weekend will be a test to see how Soak City will handle with all the people I think were going to see another Soak City expansion for 2018 and maybe a thrill ride frisbee. Perfect weekend to ride Thunder Canyon and The Wave to cool off. Anyone think Soak City will be at capacity crowds on Saturday?

I think it's also time to get new toll lane plaza something like Kings Island and Carowinds has anyone think it's time to get rid of the old toll booths and get new ones? Also I think they should push the toll lanes further down by the river because on busy days when we have lines of cars coming in it would help with the traffic flow maybe add few more lanes and have a few lanes just for season pass holders to scan there passes like Kings Island has. That would be a improvement to get the park ready for the new B&M inverted/wing front gate coaster. Remember Adult Night look how much traffic was coming into the park all the way from hwy 169 so emagine what a new B&M coaster what type of crowds that would bring in.

I'm planning to go to Kings Island for 3 days during my Cedar Point trip at the end of June. I was looking at map quest I didn't realize how close Camden Park is to Kings Island I'm going to Kings Island for three days staying at Baymont Inn mile from the park. According to map quest Camden Park is only 2 hours east of Kings Island. Can you do both Kings Island and Camden Park in one day? Is Camden Park worth a couple of hours visits and to ride the Big Dipper? I'm planning to hit Camden Park real early in the morning then do Kings Island in the late afternoon and evening for the first day.

Does Kentucky Kingdom have a fast lane? I will be going for the first time was also wondering what are the crowds and ride operations like during the week? I will be going on a Thursday in June stopping on the way home from Kings Island going back to Minnesota.

Anyone going to season pass tonight after the park closes?

I will be going to Cedar Point June 19 through June 24. I'm coming from Minnesota. Is there construction work on the Ohio turn pike I/80/I90? Sandusky area?

I went back to Valleyfair this morning different type of crowd more easy going. If there going to do Adult Night in the future it should be 21 and have the entire park open and have the employees work over time. When I was at the front entrance one of the security officers who know me ask how Adult Night was I said it was a mad house I have been coming to the park for a long time I have never seen the park this busy before and I ask the security officer if they were ready for the crowds they said they were and if they were expected a huge crowd they should have had the entire park open till mid night to. I didn't think Valleyfair was ready for this type of crowd and the security officer said most of the crowd came from down town and I mentioned that there is another season pass ride Night on Thursday June 1 st I ask the security officer what type of crowd be this time? He told me it won't be the type of crowd on Adult Night because season pass holders know how to behave better lol. I also noticed no one used the fast lane on Adult Night? Security officer told me there was also a fight that broke at Wild Thing and full que line on Wild Thing not running all 3 trains? From the social media reports said they had police responding from Shakopee, Prior Lake, Savage and Scott County Sheriff to come out and the crowd control first time I have seen this.

I was there to. There were cars lining up on the right lane all the way down by the VF housing area on hwy 101. It has been a long time since I've see a crowd like this. You can use your fast lane season pass if you have one. Nights like that it's nice to have a fast lane but I didn't see anyone use it. Were they expecting a crowd this big? The tickets did sell out online.

I'm also going to Kings Island and Kentucky Kingdom. I spent a lot of time reading guest reviews hotels in the Sandusky area. I decided to give Hotel Breakers a try because you can leave your car in the parking lot it's walking distance and the conveniencent thing is if I get tired from riding I can walk straight back to the hotel and take a nap for a few hours then go back out to the park again I've always wanted to do something like this and I'm really looking forward to my first time at Hotel Breakers.
