I'm definitely impressed with the pacing on this. The other RMC appear to stall out near the end. I'm still not a huge fan of the inversions. -
What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?

Maverick, on Tuesday. Unfortunately there were a couple delays in line so we didn't exit until 5 minutes after the park closed. Otherwise it would have been Magnum, like always. -

Isn't that the case for basically every RMC coaster in existence? -

I'm pretty sure it was mostly Dogwood. You could tell by the bark. -

Oh, I am perfectly aware. But I have had to respond to emails that were written almost exactly like that. I don't need those memories. -

Bill I have a question about Sky Ride. When we were there last year the first few days in July, the lines for Sky Ride looked like they would be about 15-20 mins long, it was packed with people. Seemed silly to wait when the ride doesn't even go that far. Is it really a people eater and we should have waited? We could walk from Gatekeeper to Maverick in about 11 minutes. Just curious. We were limited on time during our visit otherwise would have gone on it for funsies. Both the sky ride and train routes can be faster walking than riding, if you account for waiting. The difference is made up in the few minutes you get to relax while riding instead of walking. -

This is so random but since we're b*tching... How come the Boardwalk Fries stand doesn't have the same sh*t-ton of seasonings that Kings Island and Kings Dominion have available? When we went to Kings Dominion last weekend I was like a kid in a candy store. You get nothing at Cedar Point, it's crap. They had a cajun seasoning, a garlic seasoning, Old Bay, vinegar... it was nuts. Get it together Cedar Point. Wow I sound like an enthusiast now, lol. They grow up so fast! -

Did you like Wrath of the Titans? I'd say it's probably about on-par with those.

I loved the movie and have no idea what the story was...

Looks like at least two more will go in place today. That leaves 2 left, which they can power through late in the day or early tomorrow. -

And what rock solid empirical evidence are you basing that on? We trust people's intelligence enough to have signs that say "CAUTION: WET FLOOR" rather than "CAUTION: WALK SLOW HERE". I could very easily see someone thinking to themselves "Ok, restricted area, well I'll just be quick and no one will catch me." Train of thought might go a little differently if the warning was more explicit. People ignore wet floor signs and closed/roped off areas all the time. What makes you think different language trumps the ignore function built into people's brains? If someone doesn't see the threat/consequences, a sign won't change that. -

So, I need to chuckle a little at people worried about Valravn being finished by opening day. At the current pace, track should be completed by the end of next week. That gives them two months for testing and troubleshooting. -

Does "contractor" count, or just "contract"? And I'm not saying they always have a multi ride contract in place, just that they may contract a specific contractor to make more than one ride. It may be easier to get things done quickly if you have that in place.
