Same here. I live 30-45 minutes away and would rather head up to Waldameer until it opens. -

Lakemont Park changes

Here is some video of last weekend at Lakemont Park - -
Mobile ordering has been great at the 6 Six Flags I have been to so far this summer... however it was putrid at Six Flags America this past weekend. Even though they are pushing it at every station, employees aren't looking for it. Now at parks like Over Georgia, Frontier City, Fiesta Texas, it is very seamless. I think it has to do with management more than anything, as they system is in place to work and I have seen it. Skip the line passes are confusing across the chain... at Over Georgia, you can't go to the Flash Pass line to get them, you have to go to Member Services... which is the opposite at some other parks this year (Fiesta Texas)... but then Over Georgia waits a few cycles to accommodate you, sometimes as many as 6, whereas other parks throw you on immediately. For social distancing, at Six Flags America, they were holding the rides and had security show up more frequent than any other park to lines that people weren't spread out in. They took the yellow markers very seriously here, probably as serious as Fiesta Texas. Some parks haven't cared at all Six Flags White Water and Over Texas come to mind. People at every park have disregarded the yellow markers, in every state that has a SF park this year. I don't think it's unique to anyone person's beliefs or any park in particular.

So kids with asthma are no longer allowed at Kennywood? Is that your stance? -

Look - we don't know how long this is going to go on. Could be years. Are we going to deprive the people that can't wear masks due to medical conditions (such as Asthma) the right to enjoy amusement parks? If so - where does it stop? Should they not be able to go to gyms as well? Lawyers have done fantastic work for the medically unable and I hope they don't stop now. -
NY has the most cases and deaths by 2x. What are you talking about "contained"? Im talking as in keeping it from spreading more, yes at first it was bad (mostly because of NYC) but ever since it has been going down and staying down unlike other states that opened early and are now seeing the backlash of what that caused. Compared to those states NY is in a much better position now to re-open Yesterday. July 4th, they posted almost 900 cases. The 11th highest state. They have been back on the rise in the state. I haven't paid attention to what they are reopening but it is only a matter of time until they explode again (rising already, past week over week). That state has proven to be terrible at keeping people safe and alive during this. However, I very much look forward to seeing how Darien Lake handled this. So far the 5 six flags parks I've been to have all had different procedures. SFOG was back to refilling plastic season cups today, when just yesterday they wouldn't touch them. An internal memo must have got passed because most stands switched over and I was shocked as I asked multiple times, are you sure? I don't mind either way. The paper cup is much more convenient.

He's simply stating the company isn't liable if you go in and get sick. How is that an issue? Enter at your own risk or stay home. That's all. -

Are you okay? Do you need help? It's okay if you're not okay. Talk to someone. I'm fine, living in fear ain't my thing, son of a crop duster. God bless you and your family. -
