Unfortunately, it looks like Waldameer may not be safe this year, lot of fights! I really thought we locked the bad guys up on Jan. 6. looks like we missed a few.

I was just thinking, this could be a terrible year for Darien Lake operation wise, but great attendance wise. No Fantasy Island & No CW (border closed even if it opens) This could be a wretched year for wait times, as they are the only game in town...

Kind of expected the Six Flags banner to increase operations. They've been doing a much better job at their other properties over the past 12 months.

Look to the right on Shipwreck Falls ! They really need to get 2 trains up and running on Vipre. Believe that was rumored to be happening at the end of 2019.

Just get Blue Streak running and that's all I need to return...

Would anyone be heart broken if they did? I live a few hours away, but I don't recall Comet being as sacred as the KW coasters. But I do know they own that hill side on the lake and there's a video from a few years ago where they mentioned that is where the next coaster will go (the video is in this thread).

I don't think the family RMC concept works well for Waldameer. For a park a bit more land locked than some, I think more variety in the line up works better such as something with inversions.

Considering they aren't putting in their new for 2020 ride this year, I'm going to assume it's going to look like Geauga Lake's Grizzly Run for the next few years, rather than any thing else.

Grizzly Run is gone. Going to be an awfully ugly part of the park. It is quite easy to see most of the ride from the park pathways. hopefully they clean it up quickly, but I doubt it. Park News - (5/5/21) Six Flags Darien Lake has confirmed that Grizzly Run, the park’s river rapids ride, is officially closed and will be removed to make way for future new additions. The rapids ride goes take up a significant bit of space in the South-Eastern corner of the theme park that could be re-purposed and filled with a number of different rides, or even a whole land full of rides.

Did this batmobile at one point have an engine? Is that how it would've went through parades?

I'm not sure that changes by city or state...

When did it get removed and why? I always remember the SF parks having a BatMobile. For example, SFA has one and doesn't have a B&M Batman. The Batmobile is even located in a silly location by the Gotham Food Court, rather than by Batwing...

Didn't they just refurb Spider? Are they having that many issues with it?

Thanks for the update, I am subscribed to you twice on YT once on there with my regular account and one with coastercouple so I will look out for the construction update #2 video. Any news on the 2 cancelled rides for this year? Would like to at least know what they were supposed to be.

I can't see them not reopening Blue Streak, but in the event that they don't, I have no reason to go there again. It's about an hour from my PA house and I try to make a yearly trip out there to support the park (same with Waldameer)

I have rode plenty of SLCs, MA's is near the top, along with Great Nor'Easter & Mind Eraser at SFA. All 3 very enjoyable IMO. T3 at Kentucky Kingdom & Flight Deck at CW are the worst and should be avoided.
