Dang, I knew that months ago but I was planning on throwing out all kinds of impossible to decode hints about it to try to get you guys to guess what I knew. Ah well I guess I'll keep the other coaster a secret for now. bummer! You forgot the part where you name drop the park GM's name consistently to make it sound like you actually have insider information. === Still say that the next addition will be water park related -

The part of this that makes me the happiest? Cedar Fair has NOT blown their entire wad on a coaster here - meaning that there is still hope for other parks in the chain to get a decent sized addition next year -

Obviously the KI version would be an abbreviated version without the awesome triple down. -

I would imagine that the station will be closer to the main pathway (as in where the current station area for the flume ride is located). -
Thanks for putting words in my mouth, its greatly appreciated. No where did I say that I can't drive three hours without Cadillac seats. I said I find driving three hours to be very uncomfortable, there is a difference. I've taken trips where I had to drive for 3 hours or longer before (one was for a job interview). But, anyway thanks again for putting words in my month. Well his mistake... but nonetheless it's hard for people in their 30's to take the whining (and that's what it was) of a 20 something seriously. For the record here is what you said. Considering how big Missouri is - you must not do much outside of the metro area if you refuse to drive further than 3 hours.

It really wasn't that busy at park opening on Saturday, at least the first couple of hours when I was there. I assumed it would be WAY more crowded with the new ride opening. The only time I'd consider the park "busy" is Fair Week How busy was the waterpark? That's how you know if the park is full. The waterpark really eats up the guests -

Anyone could have told you that. HUSS is not speedy at sending replacement parts -

Oh my goodness. There were a lot of people coming in on a Saturday that also was a Corporate day!?!? Who would have guessed. See all those shirts with the 50 on the back? Yeah they had their annual company day at the park. It's always busy when this happens. -
No, it's not. Plus, a 6 hour round trip requires a weekend to make it worthwhile. SFStL is a local thing; we can go on the spur of the moment and just stay a little while. HW is a planned trip, isn't worth it for a one day trip, and is a significant expense if you do a sat/sun trip because hotels in the area are pretty expensive. No $40 a night Red Roof Inns there. That's insane. We live 3 hours from SDC. We NEVER have to stay overnight. We get to the park by 10am and usually close the park. I guess if you are used to settling for an inferior product then it's no big deal. So you're leaving at 7am (which means you're getting up at what, 6am?) and staying 'til the end, then driving another 3 hours and getting home at what, 1am or 2am? If that works for you, great, but that's, what's the word you used? Insane. I don't think Six Flags needs to consider that kind of trip anything most people would do regularly. Yes leaving at 7am and arriving at 10am. Park rides open at 10:30am Park closed at 6:00pm - back home before 10pm. FAR from insane

My back, wallet and car would beg to differ. Sorry. Didn't realize you were that much older than me Seats in an economy car are not very comfortable for long periods of time. Not everyone has a car with heated leather seats, lumbar support, and a telescopic steering wheel. Oh well that explains why I don't have any issues as my car has all those features.

What area really needs a theme park?

It was all foreign guys when I went. WildThing was the pokey crew. Full 3-4 minutes between the time the other train hit the brake curve before the station and dispatch of the train in the station. Corkscrew and Steel Venom were the speedy crews -

This happens at Carowinds in Charlotte. Every year on the 4th Sunday of June BMW rents out the park for the company picnic. Also about the dining plan, we have the same issue at Carowinds with Chickies and Petes. The cheesesteak is like 3-3.5in long. They just added Panda Express and Chick-fil-A to ours but you get the most food in the cafeteria they built 2yrs ago. Noted. That's where I was looking at eating when I visited.
