  1. I love that first drop, but I wonder if it will be jarring like Superman / Tempesto's drop just mentioned here yesterday. I mean, that was some violent airtime for a small train!
  2. Being the small model, I would have loved it to be placed above the old chiller station, using that as the station. Placement is my only gripe. This is a great, modest addition that the GP will eat up.
  3. ^I think Georgia and La Ronde won this year with their new Larson Flying Scooters. I really wondered how long it would be before we saw Six Flags pick up on them. And yes, we co-host Coaster Con (wth Holiday World), ACE's national convention for 2016. I for one am pumped! It's already on the calendar.
  4. ^That's why there's shin bars.. I love the LED's on the loop, which I assume are part of the mentioned "special effects" (?).
  5. I don't know about you guys, but I'm very excited. 1) they're not marketing it as a coaster, even though SFNE is. 2) it will be replacing The Rush Street Flyer, which was stating to show its age. That location is prime as its pretty visable and open. Imagine how it's going to look now at night! It's seems almost strange that we will now have 3 new, colorful rides packed into the back of the park. Including Superman, the only old ride in Illinios will be Tidal Wave next year. Since it sounds like its on the chopping block, I wonder what will replace it?
  6. The park directors and president have said many times every year that they would not be able to RMC the Boss to the extent they wanted. A lot of the layout have have to be chopped and the terrian would also prove another speed problem. Its unfortunately, but it wont be a surprise when Iron Boss isnt on the announcements tomorrow. Namely, they want that 540 ending and first drop double down.
  7. Is this a joke? Even if not, I'm still scratching my head.
  8. The problem is the ride is under 100 feet tall. Unless they added a solid chunk onto the lift, that hill would need to be much, much shorter than that because there is already a raised curve before the airtime hill. The best it could be with that in mind is a bunny hop (in terms of size) for ejector, but there are already multiple opportunities for bunny hills later in the course. I'm with you on wanting airtime (which I'm sure will be delivered regardless), but I think its almost too obvious that this might be the centerpiece inversion for the ride. There's nothing wrong with a long zero-G stall. I really enjoyed Twisted Colossus' stall, it was one of the best parts of the ride. I thoroughly enjoyed the stall on Goliath. I'd love to see more. Id just like them to use it a little differently this time than from what they did on Wicked Cyclone. I understand RMC makes very unique layouts, and maybe its just me. RMC fan creations on YouTube have a lot of stalls usually as a main focus element and its becoming a general consesus when speculating a layout. I guess I'm just indlueneced by those creations that it is a "predictable" place for it.
  9. He needs banned from YouTube. We must prevent stupidity!
  10. If Cedar Fair bought it... Thunderhawk...
  11. Its at least over that. Each of the eight cars is $500k and texas and St Louis split the $12m production cost. So that is $10m right there.
  12. If there support for old CSO or hopefully some of the old breed creators left, then count me as sold.
  13. ^Water coaster through the woods next to HH! Pipe dream! The S&S Screaming Swing would fit in the area, but it would have to be moved closer to the train station. Having the train below grade is the only reason it could fit.
  14. Has it really been a issue? I mean, I really didn't hear that many people waiting in super long lines for it. It rarely exceeds 45 minutes. The ops on the ride are terrific. And that's VERY reasonable for the park's "new ride" - one that many people claimed would have such low capacity that the line would be HOURS long! I meant "issue" as in complaint. So yes, it has never been an issue.
  15. 75 ft at 10ft above grade minimum safety envelope. Would there even be space for a swing lol? It'd be pretty cool as the train station sits below RSF's grade. So you be an extra 20 feet up at full swing over the RR. Plus, the train station is alresdy covered where guest are and the train itself is too.
  16. Not every park can have a prefab, Kingda oKAy, and 5 B&Ms. You guys need a GCI or maybe something like twister at Grona Land but with a larger capacity.
  17. ^Tempesto was great. The only hinderance was capacity, but BGW is really deserted lately during the weeks, so I dont think that it is an issue anymore. Depends on the heat. We did WCUSA on a hot Sunday after a long week of rain and the place looked like World War Z. Choatic.
  18. Thats my exact thought. Knowing RMC, its pretty obvious that they would consider a stall there. I brought this up a while ago and found endless criticism to me.
  19. I hate the Premier new gen trains. Very cramped.
  20. I just hope they make that sexond hill a massive ejector hill and not a stall. It would be something we havent seen in a while.
  21. The *only* cool thing about a Super Loop up there is that it'd be at te highest point in the park, themed to an area and sticking over the tree line (even higher than Rush Street now swings). I wouldn't mind it if they didn't cal it a freaking coaster!
  22. This is what I ask myself each time I click here.
  23. ... Don't forget CW... AKA CANADA's CP #Ziz2017CW #KD2018 LOL At the Canada's Wonderland fanboys thinking they're guaranteed a 2017 coaster! LOL At the KD fanboys thinking they're guaranteed a 2017 coaster!
