  1. I figured this would get finished when Triple 5 took over, they just squeezed every incentive and cost break they could before finally getting going. Shame that there will not be a new Toys R Us flagship store though.
  2. I’ll be at the park on the 6th, so I’m appreciating all the information! Barcelona is the last city on our two week European trip. I’m excited! Barcelona will likely kick off a near month for us. Hopefully Norwegian starts Madid or Barcelona from Denver as they have stated that they may. Southwest via Den from Tulsa and Norwegian across the pond. If not, I'll likely fly out of Memphis using points on United We're going from Tulsa to LAX, LAX to London. We'll be going through London, Paris, Rome, and Barcelona all with Chase UR! It's a final trip for us before we start to consider kids! My wife likes coasters and theme parks, but I had to convince her that we needed to do one park while we were abroad! Your trip sounds like a blast, if you get to PortAventura before I do, share the wealth of knowledge! Enjoy! A hint with chase UR points, while they don't show up on their travel portal, you can call and book Norwegian with points. I can get usually get their Premium Economy for 40,000 one way compared to United(for example) bare min, economy for 30,000 and the 30,000 is limited. The wife and I can fly in the nearly lie flats with Norweigian and the kids can tough it in economy seating thats equal to any legacy product for 15,000 each. United will give you a leg in Europe for free when booking the going and coming with points. American, I rarely try with their limited availibility.

Southwest via Den from Tulsa and Norwegian across the pond. If not, I'll likely fly out of Memphis using points on United My must do's are Port Aventura, Europa, Phantasialand, Efteling and Puy du Fou. I'd like to get some others in like Expedition Gee Force but we'll see. If Norwegian starts Madrid instead of Barcelona, I may include Parque Warner. I'm hoping the Cinecetta Park I Rome is still alive and kicking. Garda land would be only other in Italy I may attempt though Mirabilandia seems more attractive to me. Our plan after the Cruise is Rome-Florence-Venice - Paris- Normandy- Nantes /Puy du Fou, Strasbourg/Europa, Rothenberg, Cologne/Phantasialand, Effteling, Amsterdamn, Copenhagen/Tivoli, London and possibly Alton Park and fly home from either Manchester or go on to Dublin and fly back from there I'm well aware I'll be passing a ton of parks I'd love to go to but......time and money. This is being financed from saving up over 600k in Chase UR points. If by chance In can get in Three or four smaller parks like Holiday, The Walibi parks, Tover, Movie Park, eCT I will. I'm very interested in the season pass perks that include multiple parks. The wife demands over half the teip by cultural and history focused vs a coasterthon. Then we will stock pile points for a 2021 or 2022 Asia trip, Tokyo to Osaka, Bejing to Xi'an to Chengdu to Shainghai. I hope to time it with the new things at Tokyo Disney and Universal opening in Beijing. Between those will be a California and Hawaii trip and a bunch of weekend getaways here and there. We are liking this no mortgage thing, we are giving the kids a taste of the world and then their out and Momma and I are globetrotting,
  4. Tibidabo was penciled in for the Friday night before the Cruise. We want to hit Case Batllo, Familia and Park Guell during the day and finish it off up on top Where do the buses to Tibidabo leave from?
  5. No problem! This crowd calendar is always pretty accurate. It's in French, but the color code is as follows: Green = Calm day, Blue = Pleasantly busy, Orange = Occupied, Red = High crowds, Black = To avoid. So for the 15th and 16th of April, you should be fine. As you can see in the link to the crowd calendar I posted above, the first week of June should be okay. Thanks, I got my eyes set in a vacation rental that overlooks the sea in Salou I want to base there for few days getting adjusted to the time before moving into Barcelona proper the day before to cruise. The wife will spend time reading overlook g the seas while the kids a I check out the nearby Roman ruins and the Park. We'll focus on Guadi sights the day before the cruise and visit Tibidado the night before the cruise and something the morning before boarding.
  6. How are crowds during the first week of June? I've booked a Disney Cruise for June 8th 2019 and Port Aventura is now a sure thing for my Euro trip. Too many nice Homeaway choices to be had to stay on property though.
  7. Yeah, if it was on Table Rock or Bull Shoals and not Lake of the Ozarks., but I guess it's just a morning's drive away.
  8. We went on a 3 night Disney cruise over Spring Break and liked it so much, we put a deposit on the 6 night Barcelona to.Rome in 2019. So, Port Aventura to kick off Europe 2019.
  9. They now have their version of Power Keg, really good.......when open.
  10. Park needs a Zamperla disc-o, a star flyer, a Gravity Group woodie, one of the new compact vekomas, macks or gerslauers, an sbf/visa spinner and three classic but new flats. New vest trains for the existing vekoma Water park side needs a water coaster and capsule drop tube tower. Add a hotel with indoor waterpark adjacent to the property to take full advantage of families visiting for the horse racing season at Oaklawn, spring break, halloween and Christmas seasons. Someone does all that and this park elevates big time. But the Disk'o and the the sbf/visa three loop spinner additions would be quick, rather cheap, easy and popular.
  11. They upped it to 270 starting this morning. I was told I was the first one they thought that was over the old limit to go up.They only get a red or green light, but I weighed 265 last week at doctors appointment. I know that it's employees bit they said that they will start a new tower very soon (may?) In that little triange of expansion space.
  12. Two trains according to reports and supposedly they have already ditched the unloading stand and it seemed to speed things up.

  14. Between this and MSC's coming Island, hopefully Disney will plus up Castaway

  16. True this. In an odd twist, although SDC is my Home Park with season passes, I'll ride Cobra's Curse this weekend and then TT at SDC three weekends later. WI'll be interesting to compare/contrast the Macks.
  17. Welp, looks like someone else filled those shoes... (see below) There's still time for themeing throughout the station. The first launch is probably slowed so that the ride won't be overwhelming for most people. Going through these elements sideways and backwards could be very disorienting for a lot of people. I'm sure they want the lines to be long with as little vomit in the station and on the exit ramp as possible. The lack of show building on the launch isn't necessarily disappointing for me personally, but it was surprising. The cost associated with doing something like this may be minor in comparison with the ride, but if you look at the overall cost of the revamped area around the park, I'm sure all of these things add up quickly. I will not get a chance to ride it till first weekend in April at the earliest but as someone that frequents the park on the reg as a season pass holder that buys plenty of food when there, I had rather seen all that moving gear work in a first launch show building. I have seen a pov elsewhere and the first drop should have been into some kind of mystical Ozark wormhole rock cave.
  18. That's my only regret as a season pass patron, wish they had included that as there was ample opportunity.
  19. Bet it is another one of the SBF Visa spinners. They can be fun and SBF has found gold with it like Zamperla did with the disc-o.
