I think today (or tomorrow for sure), Valravn will be topped off! I imagine they will place the turn section up next and then fitting in the top of the lift hill after, hopefully this afternoon!

I have a feeling the supports for the beginning of the lift will be going into place today! The crane is in the proper spot now. This unfortunately has become my excitement in the off season! Another random comment: Why doesn't CP have their merchandise shop online anymore? I've called the park to order a Coasterdynamix MF model which was an easy process and shipped quickly, but just interesting in 2015 they don't have a shop online anymore. Especially if they could be discounting 2015 dated stuff in the off season etc. Maybe I just want to buy everything CP and see what they have to offer. I used to buy stuff from their shop online every year.

Hey everyone. Quick question- I want to use my Six Flags season pass one more time before the end of the season and debating which park to go to this weekend. I want to get the most rides in as possible and dont' want to partake in any of the Fright Fest attractions. How has SFOT been the past few weekends? I don't want to make a big trip and then get to ride New Texas Giant once... There is also an ACE event at SFOT this weekend as well so I don't know if that would affect lines etc as I wouldn't be participated in it . I just want to plan accordingly and know what to expect as far as the park being busy. Any suggestions or heads up as to what I should expect on a Saturday in October? Thank you in advance!!

Great pictures. And I thought I took a lot of pictures at Cedar Point... MF is my favorite ride there, but I was there 4 days prior to Maverick opening. If I lived closer, I definitely would have been there with you. Boo to CP being 7 hours away!

I absolutely love my family. I would NEVER ask for another one. We have wayy too much fun together. I got my mom to start riding bigger roller coasters and now she is hooked. We are going to CP Monday, but unfortunately no Maverick. My mom rode TTD last summer!!

^I'd definitely recommend visiting the Rosen College of Hospitality Management campus. It's outstanding. I used to want to do mechanical engineering too, until I realized Calculus and I don't get along. Aka I don't like working with number as much as people.

Three cheers for grade inflation! personally I love weighted averages It took an ok GPA in high school and shot it up more than 20 points Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I don't understand how you can average above 100% What I hate is when schools arbitrarily go from standard scale to the +/- system. So, basically one semester a 90% = A, but the following semester 90% = A-. LAME! Well let me explain. At my high school, there are 10 weighted classes offered. These classes are more difficult that other classes and have more homework and tests than normal classes. If you manage to get an A in that class, it is a 4.1 on the GPA. And if you get a B it shows up as a 4.0 on the report card. I've yet to get a B since 6th grade, and I've taken 9 of the 10 weighted classes and have gotten A's in all of them. Hopefully that explains my 4.3158 GPA. I actualy get my third quarter report card tomorrow. My GPA should be even higher!

This survey is crazy. Grades aren't dropping just because of myspace, it just turns out that some people who have myspace had grades that dropped. Normally school gets more difficult as the years go on. I do believe that for some people myspace could be a reason, but not for most. Most kids just don't care anymore and don't realize the importance of school. I have a 4.3158 GPA, and I have a myspace. It definitely has NOT been any reason for a grade dropping in any class.

Who would ever do that??? That just seems.....weird? Just kidding John! I'm jealous of that poster!!!

If you really want the best dance pad, I'd go for the Cobalt Flux. I doubt you're willing to pay that much money though.

Laura, my dearest one. I thought everyone already knew we were going to get married? I mean when I say I'mgoing to Rosen, there's background info I just didn't feel the need to tell everyone. I guess it's out now. Laura and I are going to get married!!! And trust me, you are my first priority. Even over eating, breathing, sleeping, and coasters. You're number one Laura. Don't ever forget that!

Hmmm....what's interesting abot myself? 1. When I was before the age of one, I had a hole in my small intestine. I was in the hospital for 2 months and had a 50/50 chance of living. That's why I have a scar on my stomach. 2. I have gotten straight A's since 6th grade. One more semester to go! Not so sure if I can pull it off because of Calculus. 3. I've had perfect attendance at school since 7th grade. (I went to Disney World in 6th grade!) 4. I'm above the influence. I don't do drugs or drink alcohol. I have a fear of ruining my life and my reputation. I can have much more fun without drugs and alcohol and they won't solve what problems I may have. 5.
