What's new for PGA in 2006?
Angry_Gumball replied to Tmcdllr's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Interesting... *pictures a rocket coaster blasting off at 80 mph with no restraining system on it whatsoever, with people flying off everywhere* -
I can see that this topic is going to lead to a booger photo contest along with the avatar contest.

I was actually at Best Buy the other day (I think I want to avoid online for now as for such expensive items only because of shipping reasons) and I believe it was a Canon ZR something (forgot which model) for like $260. My friend had a ZR90 today videotaping us skimboarding and he says it's a nice camera. Any thoughts on Canon? I will do some research as well before 'jumping into the water.'

Interesting topic. I think they come handy when you need some sort of projectile and you're defenseless, or if you have extremely good flicking skills, you can flick 'em at drivers who tick you off on the road.

Name that location thats close to a theme park!
Angry_Gumball replied to TheStig's topic in Random, Random, Random
Ok...Best I could do, thanks again to Google Earth. Sometimes, you can find the name of the pic by moving your mouse over... -
Ok, before I start this topic, I apoligize if I missed and posted a duplicate topic in advance Anyway, I've been doing some thinking and with my new job and all I've been conisdering buying a DV camera for the kind of work I'm doing. Basically, I'd use it at theme parks (when I actually get a chance to visit), use it for other random fun moments, and also I do a lot of photography for church events and put the pics into a slide show as a memory of the particular event but I'm considering doing some involving video as well. So the question is, what kind of camera would you recommend considering my budget (looking at spending probably $350 max) Basically, I'm looking for a good 'all around' camera thats compact.

This is what I found funny. The chain gas stations (Chevron, Shell, 76, etc...) kept their prices at ~$2.99-$3.01 while an independently owned gas station in my area, well actually 2 of them, jacked their prices up to $3.09 and $3.19 a gallon. Today, I noticed that they dropped it back to $2.99 because no one would even be crazy enough to pay that much for gas. Personally, I would go around and take the extra 5 minutes to pay $2.99 for a better grade fuel.

3 rants...first rant of the day: I'm in a 35 mph zone as I have a sunday driver poking at 25 mph with a whole country mile ahead of him...the lane next to me was loaded with cars so I couldn't realy get around him. Second rant...didn't happen to me but only convinced me even more that the human race is not so intellegent. A car ahead of me honked at a pedestrian crossing with the walk signal. It was funny when I saw him yelling at the idiotic driver. Third rant...first off, why target new people?? I just started my new job (training) today ripping DVDs and printing thumbnail images for the DVD cases and after 3/4 of a decent smooth moving shift, the computers start busting out with errors. This happened right after my co-worker's shift ended, who was training me.

The "Office Space" Picture thread!
Angry_Gumball replied to jarmor's topic in Random, Random, Random
No camera handy today but my workspace consists of 8 computers, 1 monitor, a switch (for switching computers) and a DVD rack...Well, it's my new job. Basically, I rip DVD's and get thumbnails from it and print it for the DVD cases, pack 'em up and send them off to the next work station. Edit: I'm too lazy to bring my camera into work as my co-workers would think I"m nuts taking pics of our work station, so I whipped up a MS Paint version of my work space. -

New coaster design!
Angry_Gumball replied to EpcotLova's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ouch! I was kinda thinking something like a roller coaster train that has ferris wheel like seating. The seats would be free rotating like on a ferris wheel and as you go down a 300 foot vertical drop, you get the same feeling as a drop tower. Airtime hills would have a whole new feeling to it as well. The actual coaster design would probably just be a hyper and where there are turns and banking, the free-rotating seats could probably lock into position to reduce stress who knows what would happen. -

Top Ten Movies Of The Year So Far.....

I've only seen Star Wars III. -
Well, today, I went with some friends to go see Transporter 2 but stopped at In n Out for dinner. We decided to eat outside as this huge group of 6th and 7th graders grab the table behind us acting like they're all hardcore when they really weren't. I really felt like slamming them into the wall as they gave my friend some weird looks. One was stupid enough to walk behind the car as we were backing out after and then gave us a look like "you wanna start something?" He'd be picking the wrong group if he did...not that us 20 year olds would bring ourselves down to a 6th grader's level.

Just digging thru my pictures and found the "Psycho Tums" avatar I made for our second avatar contest. It's still hard to believe.

Hahahaha!!! Some idiot just got pulled over outside. -
Not so much on a coaster, but I got scared to death on a ferris wheel It was at the local county fair and the ride op heard me screaming to stop the ride because I wanted off. No more ferris wheels until a few years later. I was in kindergarten or something like that at the time. I also got scared on a dark ride...I came out crying/screaming. Now, I look back at it and laugh. Lastly, I got scared to death on the Bathroom ride (AKA, the restrooms) when a dancing flower firework literally chased me out of the bathroom. OMG! That was the funniest thing to ever happen to me.
