  1. I tried it out and I must say it's pretty fun! Some of the rides I can't figure out, but it's really fun!
  2. How about "Meow Meow Coaster"?
  3. And then they are closed the day after! This is the most bizarre schedule I've ever seen!
  4. Sometimes I wonder what Nickelodeon Universe would be like if it was still managed by Cedar Fair. Sure, since it became Nickelodeon Universe 2 new coasters have been added, but here are a couple of things that I don't like about the change. Nickelodeon changed this: To this: Nickelodeon changed this: To this: Nickelodeon changed this: To this: Also, Nickelodeon changed "Timberland Twister" to "Fairly Odd Coaster". All I can say is that I'm REALLY happy they didn't touch the log flume. NOTE: I really like the look of wood, so that could be where some of these complaints have come from. Also, I'm just nit-picking this to death, over-all, I really like Nickelodeon Universe, it has a lot of great rides and it's just a really good park, I just wish that some of the old stuff stayed the same.
  5. Same. I also watch TPR's Intimidator 305 video, Schloss Beck Germany with Theme Park Review (I love the Coaster Expedition type videos), and random Chinese coasters just for the commentary.
  6. Carowinds put this picture up on their Facebook page yesterday. This looks amazing! Source
  7. ^The worst part is that two of those comments have a like.
  8. They've had single-op on a Friday before, so that doesn't really surprise me... If I get there, I'll take pictures and post them here for you all.
  9. Hey, I'm thinking of heading to the park soon, and I was wondering if toddler tuesdays make a large impact on lines. So, does anyone have experience with tuesdays at the park that could help me out?
  10. ^Good luck! Just out of curiosity, does anyone know how often High Roller gets retracked? I find it to be an extremely smooth ride, so I was wondering if it was stunning maintenance, 3 1/2 inches of padding, or both.
  11. I did it, and I STRONGLY agree that there should be push button seat belts on a ride if it has to have seat belts. I know that the seatbelts on GCI Coasters confuse so many people, that the ride ops have to help people out, therefore slowing dispatches, but (I would hope) everyone knows how to push a button. IMO that's the only thing that I don't like about a GCI!
  12. How about we all do Coasting For Kids and use that as a meet-up, and we would be supporting GKTW at the same time! I won't be able to make the NU meet-up.
  13. Well, I was watching a show called "Galavant" today, and they said "off to Valencia" (or something like that) and all I automatically translated it to "off to Six Flags Magic Mountain".
  14. ^^Yes! People who spend their entire vacation taking pictures confuse me. How can you truly enjoy your vacation when you spend the entire vacation taking pictures? I take plenty of pictures when I'm at an amusement park, and I actually look at those photos (shocking, right?), and most of them are taken in a queue, walking down an exit ramp, or if I see a train coming I'll whip out my camera and hope it turns out. I won't wait for a long time to get a photo (many of my pictures don't have a train, because I want to get the most of my day, not wait for a train to come around) ^Wait, these things are $80! I could duct tape a camera to a stick for under $5 and still accomplish the same thing!
  15. Luckily, I haven't had an experience with this, but from what Robb has posted, selfie sticks. People who take cameras on the ride, and then the ride op has to stop the lift and tell them to put it away. People who need to "catch up to their group"
  16. That Seaworld one, ugh. Also, everyone knows you can't take a camera on a ride, do they think that if they attach a stick to it it's ok? I fully support the "ban selfie sticks" project!
  17. Granted, but then coaster enthusiasts begin being ignorant I wish that holiday world wasn't over 11 hours away.
  18. Does it really require wider track, I know that the train is wider, but I don't think that the track is different. Normal Restraints: Vest Restraints: It looks like the seats just hang off the sides of the track more, it doesn't look like the track is any different. Photos are from rcdb.
  19. I'm at Valleyfair, and I would say without a doubt that Renegade is the best ride there. For Nickelodeon, I would say that either Avatar Airbender or the Log Flume.
  20. Yes, that's why I said, "what did you get".
  21. I find it funny that the curve installed today is around 100 feet high (according to RCDB) and it's being referred to as "low to the ground". It goes to show that this thing is HUGE!
  22. Granted, but it still closes. I wish that SeaWorld would start acting like a theme park again. On SeaWorld San Antonio's Facebook page, I had to go to AUGUST 8th, 2013 to find a post dedicated to a roller coaster.
  23. THIS! TC or Colossus (and if you absolutely must, TCol, but even that is dumb) works just fine, we don't need stuff like "TwiCo", that just sounds stupid.
  24. I have NEVER heard "Orun" before. But yes, TCol just follows NTAG and IRAT.
