Yeah but it's Six flags. They put the same coasters in different parks all the time. Great Adventure hasn't gotten a true new coaster since Toro which Will be 10 years in 2016. They are due and RMC seems to be very popular in Six Flags' company now. I would be suprised if they did not keep the trend going. No other park has El Toro. And none of the RMCs are "the same". If they go RMC I'll gladly eat my words, but I just don't see it happening. Not yet, anyway.

I give the edge to Brady due to the unparalleled success he's had since becoming the starting QB. In 13 years the Pats have 11 division titles, 9 AFC Championship game appearances, 6 Super Bowl appearances, and 4 Super Bowl wins. That's quite the résumé. Also, Montana had Jerry Rice at his disposal. Outside of the couple of years with Randy Moss, Brady hasn't had a true weapon at WR.

Big news surrounding the Giants, both good and bad. Last night, Odell Beckham Jr. took home his well deserved Rookie of the Year award (the numbers he put up after missing 4 games is incredible) And sadly, this morning, the team matriarch, Ann Mara passed away at the age of 85. RIP to her. As for tonight: Go Pats.

Six Flags Over Texas (SFOT) Discussion Thread
Genx24 replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Hi everyone. So, I may be visiting Dallas in May, and of course when I learned this, the first thing that popped into my head was "I'm going to the original Six Flags!" But first, a couple of questions: 1. Does the park have daily operations before Memorial Day? Their website isn't showing hours for May yet, and if they do not have daily ops, I can't go. 2. How are crowds usually during this time period? (Of course, if the park doesn't have operating days, this question is worthless.) 3. Any chance Justice League will be finished by this time? Or should I not hold my breath? Thanks in advance for any answers/advice. -
Does your home park lose its luster?

Any place can lose its luster if you visit enough. That's why it's key to supplement visits to your home park with trips to other places. I visited Great Adventure 15+ times this past season, but to keep it from getting stale, my friends and I made day trips to Dorney Park, SFNE, and Lake Compounce. We also have the luxury of just hopping over to Brooklyn and jumping on the Cyclone when we get bored. That's what kept GAdv fresh. -
They did try it in the early 2000's, but the type of event was much different compared to what is being done at the other Six Flags parks right now. According to what was documented, Winter Lights was basically a drive-through attraction with a few small shops, displays, and a kiddie train ride at the end. I was recently talking to a friend about the idea of them being able to do something like what SFOG is doing for Holiday in the Park. It kind of is possible to do as they do have quite a few attractions that could possibly run in low temperatures. I would bet the main part of Golden Kingdom, part of the Boardwalk, the back part of Frontier Adventures (Bizarro) would remain closed and the rest might be able to run. Don't know about Nitro though, but Black Beard, Skull Mountain, and Dark Knight would be decent coasters to run if this event could happen. I don't know. I just feel a holiday in the park works only at parks that have their full complement of rides running. Sure, it would be nice to go visit the park in late November-early December and ride Skull Mountain a couple of times, but like I said; being in the park and seeing all the main attractions closed would be kind of a bummer. But that's just my opinion.

Haven't been to this park since I'm about 10-11 years old. Definitely plan on making a visit this summer to pick up the new credit -
