These Villas look fantastic. My family is working out the details on returning to WDW in November, and I'm going to push for staying at the Polynesian over returning to the Villas at Animal Kingdom Lodge or trying out the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. No Villas will ever compete with Old Key West's (in terms of size), but these look marvelous.

In theory, it's great. But by the time this event rolls around, and the park for any reason can't get any of the B&Ms operating, I don't see myself driving an hour down to Jackson just to ride Skull Mountain.

^ I meant that its interesting that only the B&Ms would be open, and tacked on Bizarro when I noticed it wasn't listed. Sorry if my wording wasn't so "obvious" for you.

If the weather really allows them to get their B&Ms up and running in winter, sign me up. But this of course all remains to be seen. Its interesting that the park only lists their B&Ms, besides Bizarro.

If it is Holiday in the Park, and they're able to do it with at least some of the bigger coasters, I'd most likely go. But I agree that an event like this at Great Adventure would not be very successful.

Hmm, I don't think they would tease the announcement if it was for a path. My guess is they got permission to run Ka and Zumanjaro together, but who knows.

I might be going later on today. I just wish it would warm up a little bit. NY is currently in another cold spell, and this chill plus the seabreezes from the Atlantic might make riding a bit uncomfortable. I'd love to end my offseason today as opposed to Friday, but we'll see.

^^ When I rode Goliath, my first thought when I got off was "it's a fun ride, but why didn't MM just wait and get a B&M?" Nitro blows Goliath away, and it's apex height is 25 feet shorter than Goliath's drop. But like you said, MM just cared about a record.

It wouldn't shock me if GAdv got one soon, either. Especially since there was a rumour going around that GAdv was supposed to get one this year until Zumanjaro went over budget.

Its the two different Bat logos, right? The classic for the ride but the new one on the suit? Not a Batman "geek" but thats my best guess. Also: very excited for this. It's probably intense as hell, and I'm looking forward to every delirious second of it.

Sounds like they're re-opening the haunted section of the park. Sounds good to me.

^^ It isn't even completed, how could they determine if it had any more or less airtime than Bizarro has? They probably changed the element around the time of the announcement, but the rendering was already finished.

What are the Eagles doing? It seems like Chip Kelly is actively trying to lose his job to rejoin the college ranks. Oh well, as a Giant fan, I'm smiling over all of this. Keep up the good work, Chip.

Wicked Cyclone would like to have a word. But in all seriousness, both these B&M projects are certainly looking better than what the animated renderings showed. Perhaps this is the beginning of a B&M renaissance.
