Lol this is going to sound so nerdy and dumb but I get the pathway excitement lol. I dunno why. When playing RCT2 I always spend lots of time designing my path layout and thinking it through. I think it will be interesting to see how HW does the pathways in this area. I also thought the way they did the path from Splashin safari to pilgrims plunge interesting,

I LOVE the hard hat chronicles! I was hoping they would do one soon! And now we know what that gray steel is for in the background. The construction site looks so different now than it did back during the announcement. Exciting!

My bad, yes The Raven train

It's so weird because most the people I talk to around here have opinions that are the exact opposite... Remember I'm maybe 20 min from the park and I"m just a member of the GP. But generally we all feel like the Raven is the most jerky and The Voyage is the smoothest(except when they ran that Legend train on it. The Legend train on The Voyage was very very rough). I really think doing anything to The Voyage beyond what they have been doing would kinda give them a black eye, in the eyes of the public around here. To be honest, on this forum is the first time I've EVER heard anyone refer to The Raven as smooth and The Voyage as rough. It'd just so weird how different people view these coasters.

Yea it's a bit freaky. It kind of sounds like the cackle then cough when someone throws up on RCT2

Ohhh the Gatorade and Sierra mist mix is REALLY good! Mixing soda favors around here is a pretty common thing.

Oooo you guys have made me super hungry as well. HW has the BEST theme park food out of all the parks I've been to by far. Plymouth Rock Cafe is INSANELY good and an INSANELY good price for the quantity and quality. Also, Even though it's the same pizza recipe, for whatever reason, Safari Sams has THE BEST pizza in the park! Get your pizza there if you get pizza! The Alamo has some crazy good food too!

I believe the supports that now have track are inside the station/launch building. The supports without track are outside of the station. I think someone mentioned that they needed to put the track on the supports that will be inside the station now so that they could start building the station.

Woa... You guys really DO have a drone!?!? Or rather a remote controlled flying something anyway. That is SUPER cool! I just seen someone playing with it on the construction cam.

It really is pretty awful outside recently. You need a knife to cut through the humidity today. Hope this doesn't last too long, I'm so ready for fall!

That's their setup for the Rock the World festival they do. I guess they are going to be showing the festival on the webcam instead of construction. The festival is this weekend. I'm sure they will move the cam back when it's over. But yea this is NOT the Thunderbird construction site.

Yup they are NOT wasting anytime this morning. They are for sure getting ready to place another section of track!

That would be great! I think we should! I've never been to a park on opening day before, but I truly do plan on attending opening day for this new coaster! I'll make sure I'm there early. I'm game! That would totally be a blast! I guess I need to get a thunderbird shirt too.

My plan is to be there on opening day and also on the early preview night for season pass holders

Lol those were really random tabs wern't they? Lol those were both from two different browsing sessions. The main reason for the onion search was because I had a stroke and I am on a low sodium diet. A friend had told me that onions were good from stroke prevention so I looked it up lol. The 20 uses for coke was for my mom lol.

It's really cool watching the construction cam right now. The guys are getting ready for work and it's super foggy, lol. Also it appears as it someone has drawn two hearts in the dirt on the left side!

I'll have to echo these thoughts.i was in another coaster forum back when The Voyage announcement and construction was going on, and I think I posted maybe twice. The arrogance and egos were out of control on that board. I never felt welcome, was constantly afraid to ever post anything. I think the two times I did post I re read my post over for about 20 min before I submitted it looking over it to make sure I didn't say anything that sounded "dumb". But the truth of the matter is, I'm NOT really an enthusiast at all. I just simply enjoy theme parks and Holiday World has always been special to me and my favorite (it IS pretty much in my back yard). So I too want to thank everyone for being so welcoming and hmmm "human" maybe? I don't ever feel like I'm dumb for posting here and I always enjoy reading what everyone else has to say. That "other place" really needs to take a step back about their attitudes and look to here to how it's done right! Kudos!
