  1. Looks like construction is ending for the day, I seen all the guys take off in their trucks. Looks like there was a lot of activity back in the woods today off cam. Wish I could get a peak at what's going on back there lol
  2. Oh my lol. You ARE really good at this lol. I just figured it was a busy day at the park and you hadn't gotten the chance yet..it was no biggie. But to learn this is a part of your masterpiece plan... Wow...lol very impressive!
  3. On the construction cam right now they are pouring more concrete into what looks like a pit of some sort off on the left hand side of the cameras angle. Also there are now some walls up for that building they are building on the right side.
  4. New clue is up now. Another reference to steel!!!
  5. Anyone notice that there isn't a new entry on 66daysatsea for today? Usually it's up way before now..
  6. ^^^^ Well said ZeroGravity!!! HW doesn't tend to let people down when it comes to their main attractions. Heck even PP/Giraffica which I guess they considered a let down, I actually really enjoyed... As did a lot of others.(however I must note I COMPLETELY understand why they did get rid of itI'm friends with someone who used to be a ride op). Honestly I'm just following the clues and guessing and dreaming and participating because HW has made this a VERY fun campaign. I really don't care if it ends up being a B&M, or a dive coaster, or if it goes upside down or not because no matter what I KNOW I'm gonna love the ride whatever it is! I just do this dissecting of clues and guessing for the fun of it. They spent tons of money and time on just this 66daysatsea campaign alone ... So that guests and fans that maybe can't even make it to the park, can share in the fun too...right from their home. I swear this is gonna be the LONGEST week wait ever. 66 days has felt like 66 months! Lol
  7. Ohh I'll go for the cake pops thrown at me as long as I get to eat them. Cake pops at HW are very yummy.
  8. I'm with ZeroGravity the mile per min. 60 + MPH Thing isn't the clue we are looking for in that as Paula already said that its nit it and no one has gotten it yet. There is something missing and it all has something to do with Chris. For some reason I still think the cake pops are loosely involved. Or either that is something to do with a Bastille... Which is a fortress, not sure how exactly that could be tied into this project but hey really at this point their clues have taken us all over the place so why not? Lol it'd STILL hard for me to ignore all the references to wood throughout the campaign... I agree this has to be a steal coaster... But I'm really curious as to how all the wood references fit in.
  9. ^^ according to Paula that wasn't the clue involving Chris though. Somehow the part about Chris was a clue... Something about him. I still think the cake pop photos mean something.
  10. Lol at holiday world EVERYONE wears a walkie talkie, so it didn't seem out of place to me but I could be wrong. Nice catch on the fitbit bracelets no clue why they all have those.
  11. I knew Christopher Columbus was way before then but it could have somehow been loosely related. I'm dunno grasping at straws really. I too try to enlarge his name tag! LOL I laughed at myself because I thought I would be the only one to try to do that! Glad I wasn't alone! I still kinda think the pics of the cake pops are related somehow too though. Man... These HW people REALLY know what they are doing.
  12. Hmm the pic of the cake pops MUST have something to do with it. It doesn't look like they have the sticks in them and there are three. Two are the white ones with sprinkles one is the buckeye kind.... hmm... I still think it could refer to a head chopper element though... you know the cake pops have been decapitated in the pic.. lol.... Heck I don't even know. Hahahah I feel like I"m gonna "loose my head" over this one, lol. And yes I seen that about coaster buzz. I"m gonna have so much reading and watching and listening to do that night its insane... lol. I won't be able to be at the park. The stroke I had a few months ago has made me unable to visit the park this year, but I'll be good to go next season! I'm riding that "One. Big. Thing" No matter how bad it might make me feel afterwards! lol. I told my therapist that going to Holiday World and riding the coasters was my end goal. lol. She thinks I"m a crazy Holiday World nut lol... which I am. Anyway point being you can bet your bottom dollar I will be watching the stream online!
  13. Paula - I'm going crazy now reading and re reading her post looking for this "Chris clue" this is going to be driving me crazy all night long lol. Would it help if we knew what Chris was a VP of? When know he is new.. Apparently likes cake pops lol(they ARE yummy!) and it sounds like he is a PERFECT fit for HW. Is it his name? Chris as in Christopher Columbus?
  14. What I got from today's blog was storming and head choppers... As being elements of the coaster.. I am TOTALLY at a loss when she said Chris (new VP) had already given us a clue. I have no idea what clue he could have given as the only thing they quoted him on was the cake pops.
  15. Ditto on HWs marketing and PR. This level of involvement is just non existent in today's companies. HW really is all about their customers and the experience...even when your not in their park!
  16. They are meaning that Holiday World isn't going to add a new themed section of the park like thanksgiving Halloween, Christmas, and Fourth of July. The ride will certainly be themed they just aren't building an entire new themed section of the park like they did with Thanksgiving when they did the Voyage. Its going to be a part of an old themed section.... Thanksgiving....so the ride will have some sort of theme having to do with thanksgiving. It's the specific themeing for that one ride that we don't know yet, but you can bet it will be themed.
  17. On a fun but unrelated note: I was watching the construction cam a bit ago and witnessed a deer walking about the construction site checking it out lol. What I would have given to be that deer checking it all out up close and personal!
  18. ^^^^ this times. BILLION. I question how well those that question the cost have actually followed the history of HW. Leah's post was EXETREMELY clear that not only is this their biggest investment ever but it is so "by far" and this investment is "ONE.BIG.THING." 13 mil was their previous largest investment. When we are talking about millions, 18 million does not seem "by far" larger than 13. I feel like a broken record because I feel I say this every post but a lot of you are WAY underestimating Holiday Worlds resources and their ability to recover said resources. I actually had a dream 2 nights ago that they announced the ride cost at 25 million. That may be more than what this is costing them, but I would not be surprised AT ALL either if it was actually close. I really strongly feel we need not let cost be a determining factor in our guesses. Remember HW also doesn't go way over the top and overboard on themeing. They do it in a right amount to where is not overbearing. They have sometimes even gradually added to themeing overtime on some rides to save on some of the upfront costs of the initial ride. I don't believe ANY of their coasters stations were fully themed their first seasons, and I think they all have changed a lot over the years from their first year. They would opt to spend way way more on an incredible and unique ride than they would less to make sure that said ride was overly themed. Again, last time I promise ... WE NEED NOT BE CONCERNED WITH COST IN OUR GUESSES!
  19. ZeroGravity - wow nice job piecing that together. I've seen all those track pieces pics and never made the connection of color... But you are absolutely correct that the two colors match. I keep digging into the clues and pics on the 66daysatsea site and I just can't seem to shake the feeling there there are gonna be water elements... And not just one or two, but lots. I was watching some of the submitted "what's up in 2015" contest videos mostly for pure entertainment. I realize most of them are made my teens and and pre teens but one young girl suggested that maybe the coaster would go through a glassed in water section.. Where you would be surrounded in this glassed in water.it sounded intriguing. That got me to thinking about possible references to underground elements. You guys would know better than I, but would it be possible to build such a longer section of a coaster underground, surrounded by such a glassed in water type of thing? I realize such a thing would be quite pricey... But honestly with Leah really kinda stressing the fact that this ride is quite expensive... I wouldn't put any kind of unique thing like that out of the question when it comes to holiday world at this point. Just dreaming.... And thinking lol..
  20. Just noticed something in an early image of this teaser campaign. In the pic at this address: https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xaf1/t1.0-9/s600x600/10537105_10152287574909538_8313839052417714385_n.jpg there are a series of numbers along the bottom of the pic. Somewhat hard to make out. Anyone have any thoughts what this numbers may be or mean? Or do you all just think they are just a part of the graphic just for show and mean nothing at all?
  21. BTW, having a ride that would go upside down would qualify HW for going into a whole "new world"
  22. I too must echo that this has to be the single best PR campaign I've ever seen. Paula you are a magician at what you do! I REALLY hope that no other company lures you away! As for the hints... I hate to say it, but I will.... I told ya guys so! I KNEW this thing was gonna be HUGE and IMPRESSIVE. I can't wait to see what it is... I will say this again, IM STRONGLY thinking that up to this point everyone has been MASSIVLY underestimating HW and what they are willing to do and spend. Their market is QUITE ready for something of major magnitude. I would not be surprised if this ride tops anything they have ever done before with their woodies. As for the hints at a launch and stuff... I thought the same thing, but then Leah said wait I won't say that twice when it came it talking about going upside down and flipping lol. So could be the potential for a red herring, but my guy says it wasn't.
  23. Awww wow! Such great memories! It's great to be able to think about those amazing memories involving Will and smile. Even now while he is afar in heaven he can still make us smile and laugh and have fun! Truly a great tribute to his life!
  24. LOL I'm glad you guys get a kick out of this thread lol. I actually read back and get a kick out of it as well! Will be REALLY cool once we all know what this "thing" is to read back and laugh. I can only imagine the amusement we are providing you guys lol.
  25. I used to work at Targeton Evansville's east side. Every once in awhile I would see Will come in there with his family. One time I finally got the courage to go up to him, shake his hand, and thank him for all that he has done. He was SOO awesome to meet. Such a warm, friendly, and very very humorous man! I also remember him and Pat sitting at a table next to me and my friends eating outside of Plymouth Rock Cafe and they actually asked us what we thought about the menu and quality of the food! It was VERY evident that he really wanted to make sure even something like how well the food tastes was A1! And of course, I REALLY enjoyed seeing him jam with the Beechcombers back when they would perform in Splashin Safari. So many many amazing memories of him and I never even worked there, lived there, or were related to anyone is that family. HW just has this unique ability to make all their guests feel like they are a part of the family!
