  1. LOL you know just kinda thinking about it, restrooms and an additional Pepsi oasis would make sense, ESPECIALLY, if this ride is thrilling. There is an oasis and restrooms near the other three coasters. I imagine its good to reduce the amount of umm bodily fluids that might otherwise end up on the walks. And I know that I FOR SURE appreciate the Pepsi oasis being so close to the Voyage. Lol thats a intense machine.. It makes me quite thirsty lol.
  2. Everything Leah and Paula have said in the holiblog posts strongly points to something very unique and one of a kind. Heck the words "one of a kind" were even used, I think it's pretty darn safe to assume this ride will be "one of a kind" rather that just something normal with a little twist or some splash fins, lol
  3. Outside of us, the GP doesn't really hold on to "first" "tallest" "fastest"...they just want a fun ride! Yellow and orange...hummm that sounds like a great combo! Im trying to think is there a coaster with that scheme going on? This isn't true at all. HW makes their claims to tallest, fastest, ect, WELL known. They even post HUGE golden tickets on their coasters of their awards. The GP in their region are WELL aware of these things. Not only because if their advertising but HW is a very special place to most around here. It's hard to explain exactly but ask anyone who lives around here and they will tell you the same. I feel like its a little bit different than just your typical "home park scenario"
  4. Don't forget inflation. TTD at todays prices is $32.3 million I'll be honest I watched POV on all of the coasters on that list.... Many didn't seem all that great to me, The Storm looked horrible. Sure it was themed out the wazoo but way way too short and really nothing exciting or thrilling at all. The Smiler however probably looked the most thrilling to me and I got a kick out of the themeing ... And the queue line lol. The site said Steel dragon only cost so much because of the earthquake requirements.
  5. Not to downplay HW's investment (few are more excited than I), but that's not correct. Ohio alone has 4 coasters >$22million. Hmm I got that from "the richest" site. Article date of just a month ago. I'll trust you guys over them any day though.
  6. On another note at a cost of $22 million this coaster will beat out the Storm coaster in Austrailia by 2 million as the #10 most expensive coaster ever built.....right here in southern Indiana.....wow!
  7. Here is a pic that Paula tweeted just a bit ago. Apparently there "Holidrone" went looking for fireworks last night during their Friday night fireworks show. They got somewhat of a overview of the work site... At least part of it anyway,...
  8. Thanks for posting that. I searched through the entire website and couldn't find that anywhere! I had a dream a week or so ago that the ride price was $25 million so that's not far off from my dream!
  9. You're located in the Evansville area, correct? If so, check the business section of today's local paper. We dropped an important fact for the first time. Just for you. Yes I am! Actually Newburgh but close enough lol. I don't get a physical copy of the courier and press I do it through their app. Checked the business section and didn't see anything that stood out pertaining to HW, did I miss something?
  10. No problem on the lesson, I actually really appreciate it as I'm in the tech industry and far removed from construction or engineering lol, so thanks! If you seen the screen shots I posted a bit ago, I also had a safari tab opened to how stuff works: concrete mixers lol so I've been reading a lot and learning a ton with this campaign! It's actually part of the fun of it for me as I love learning new things that I didn't know before. I too thought about two coasters, and I also considered the clouds referring to a launch. One thing that still bugs me is the day 2 clue with the video of the "ocean" (really a pool I'm Splashin safari I'm sure), and all the references to water. I think water is going to play a unique part I'm this ride beyond simple water elements we are used to. Remember we DO have confirmation this is one of a kind!
  11. Be sure to watch the animation carefully. When it's released on Thursday, that is ... Reading the "A promise made so long ago..." on the 66DaysAtSea cards made me tear up. Reading the Holiblog "A Promise Kept" also made me tear up. I can only guess what watching the animation carefully will do. Will was the greatest of men and I am still thankful for having worked for him and having met him on more than It made me teary eyed too...
  12. Be sure to watch the animation carefully. When it's released on Thursday, that is ... Lol Paula will do! I'm sure I'll watch it about a billion times afterwards as well lol.
  13. Wow even MORE concrete being poured into the other side of that pit now. I also seen them spraying some water I think, to loosen up the soil I'm guessing? That pit is getting a TON of attention today, I've seen at least three different concrete trucks used in that pit in the past 3 hours alone. I also now spot what looks like a ladder going down into said pit? Do they really go that deep down for a footer? Also why would there be a need for several guys at a time being down in it doing various activities? I'm not convinced this pit is just a footer or two. Paula even mentioned earlier that she had them put that mound of dirt there so that we couldn't see everything going on over there.....
  14. I could see them dedicating this ride to Will... With a plaque and everything either on a train, in the station, or on the track somewhere.
  15. Well if you read Leah's new holiblog post then you'll know that this thing is going to be one of a kind, so ANYTHING is possible. She also mentioned that if Will were still here it would be his dream ride. This keeps getting more and more interesting every day. It's hard to contain the excitement
  16. Sorry, those two captions are in the reversed spot.. Lol but you get the idea
  17. . You'll have to excuse the quality as these are screen captures from my ipad. This here is the over all site you can see on the cam. And this is zoomed in on the area in question.
  18. Wait wait wait.... Sorry for the triple post but I'm watching the construction cam... And that pit that you guys think is a footer on the left side behind the dirt pile,.... Yea I don't think thats a footer. That pit area is big enough for a guy to just hop down there and walk around.. And I seen what looked like a piece of drywall going down into the pit? Strange...... Anyone else watching and see this? Hmm there is no way that what is going on in that pit is just a footer being poured, it is big enough that about 4 or 5 guys were walking around in said pit. I'm gonna call this a tunnel instead of a footer being poured.
  19. I hope that once the announcements made Paula can get us some closer up pics and explain some of the construction for us like she's done in the past. I always find that super interesting.
  20. Just checked out the construction cam.... Wow that construction site changes really quick., and yes I thought yesterday that the concrete was being poured into a pit because of the size...but today wow.. Thats one mega huge footer.
  21. That roughly is about right. I know the clues never were posted before 8am I don't think. I think it was always later in the morning.
  22. I think they might be going for a worlds biggest or longest. I do think there will be a record or two in there somewhere!
  23. Bringing this out from years ago so I apologize... But YES! I love that movie just so I can see his man candy! I'm bi with a girlfriend. She is completely ok that I crush on dudes too. She just has the complete package for me right now. We often pick out hot girls and guys together lol its kinda fun!
  24. Lol with Paula there always is... Lol. I should have known!
