I went back in the past month or so and read all the comments leading up to the announcement night. It was actually great fun! Your right it really is crazy how much changes in a year! Heck most people didn't think Holiday World would be getting anything anywhere near a B&M wing coaster!

Lol you have an "ice cream connection"? Lol that is incredibly awesome! How does one acquire a "ice cream connection"? Lol

Looks like they are installing something on top of the Will power building with a scissor lift. I wonder if it's getting its own weather vein?

I live in Newburgh and I haven't seen it in the Newburgh Wal Mart yet. Although I didn't check yesterday. I'm sure it will filter in soon though

Holiday World tweeted the following picture on their Twitter. The caption said "finishing touches". That weather vain looks super awesome!

If you guys look at the webcam right now they have Thunderbird plaza all lit up for the employees! Thunderbird and Crows Nest lights are all on and stuff too. It looks AMAZINGLY FANTASTIC! Wow!

Excited that we will get to try Thunderbird ice cream Thursday! I haven't been able to find it yet. Thunderbird plaza just looks incredible. HW has nailed every aspect of this project. Will would be so incredibly proud! I can see him now in my mind saying to everyone "look what this small little park in the middle of nowhere can do!" Lol Paula is the fact that the Thunderbird station is shaped like a cross a Easter egg? I was curious if that was an intentional additional tribute to Will? I think it's so awesome!

It appears from a pic I just looked at on their Twitter that the Smokehouse restaurant will have BBQ pork, country fried steak, and ice cream!!!! My oh my that sounds so yummy. I could totally just live in the park lol. Can't wait to try it!

If you all head over to the Thunderbird cam right now they are testing Crows Nest and Thunderbird at the same time! Wow that's close! Also, is it just me or does Thunderbird appear to run faster every time I watch it?

Sweet. Let the lactose bloat and indigestion begin! Two scoops well worth it. I can almost SMELL the scent of summer at Holiday World... That's a scent they should put into a candle! I'd love for my room to smell like Holiday World year around!

I also have one more question... Lol I know the focus is all on Thunderbird and rightfully so... But I love all THREE of those woodies. Any reports Paula on how they are doing going into the season? Any employees get to ride them yet?

I didn't know Kroger ever did but there isn't any around here really either. In the past I've used Old National Bank, Heritage Federal Credit Union, an empty Pepsi can (does not have to contain coupon), or a bunny bread wrapper. I'm not sure if they still take the Pepsi can and bunny bread wrappers though.

I have a question for Miss Raven Maven - I've always noticed this... Ever since I first saw the animation... But it's never been mentioned or ask about. Is the station being shaped as a cross intentional? I wondered if it wasn't part of the tribute to will? I've always loved how it was shaped like that and have been super curious if it was intentional.

On their Twitter I think last week or so someone asked and they responded that it was a just in case back up measure while testing. Nothing was wrong and everything was working as intended.

Anyone here gonna do the $50 donation to ride Thunderbird?

Lol that's funny I am too. I almost actually went out to get some now, but decided it's too early to deal with the stores yet. Lol just gonna have some coffee ice cream now until later. I'm having som major ice cream cravings now!

Yea it seems as though they are doing a huge media blitz now. The biggest I've ever seen them do for sure. Good for them!

This is all just a bit too unreal lol. First they have this one of a kind amazing 66 days at sea campaign, then tell us they are building the countries first launched B&M wing coaster, then it's their own ice cream flavor in 27 states and these amazing Thunderbird TV spots... All this combined with everything else is just... WOW for this park.. We are still talking about Holiday World right? Someone pinch me!
